Ok, this is really cool! For the second part of the Academy Challenge, you get a choir robe as your prize. One of the tasks is to send the principle either a note or a package. I sent her 2 birthday cakes and a plate of cheese. Evidently she is starving, because she just sent me a Choir Robe! So awesome, but I think I will complete it anyway. The recess thing is a little rediculious. I have 5 days left for mine, but some might have more.
And for CWC, I would give you my vote anytime! I love room contests!

My mom finally signed me up for drivers training and i start on monday, and im not sure how i feel about it. I’ve been bugging her to let me start for a while now, and now she signed me up without telling me until after, and then she told me that im going to have to help pay back part of the almost $300 she spent on it. I think she should’ve at least told me that before she signed me up.
I can have the permit until my next birthday, and she said that she wants me to keep it until like september (a month before my birthday) But i dont see a point in even taking drivers training if shes going to make me wait until then to get my license because i could easily just wait until my next birthday and completely skip over the training and the permit and all that and just get my license. It would be much easier and cheaper that way, but you cant tell my mom that because she wont listen.

I just talked to my dad and he said that once i get my permit, if i can prove to them that im a good driver, he’ll talk to my mom and see if i can take segment 2 as soon as they’ll let me. Not sure how well that’ll go over with my mom though. I’m beginning to think that my mom only signed me up to get my and my dad to stop complaining about it.

I was in a foxhole in the winter with chemical warfare gear on and a flak vest (bulletproof vest)…hauling my M16 machine gun around. Middle of the woods, middle of winter..nothing but sandbags for pillows
some military cops came by to check on me. I traded 4 homemade cookies for them to take me to a flush toilet!
after that, my “war training” future was secured…They knew my cookies and would come around to give me hot soup for cookies and so on….

I get $20 a week and i’m going to start saving some of that, but i still need some money that i can spend. I can’t babysit because no one in my area needs their kids watched and i dont have the patience to watching little kids.
There are a lot of places that im old enough to work at, but i dont have any transportation yet and none of them are within walking distance.
