October Deluxe Day 10/13/2015
Another Deluxe Day is coming on Tuesday, October 13th!
Once again, Deluxe Members will be able to log in and visit the Today’s Activities in order to receive a special prize: a Precious Stone! Also on the Today’s Activity schedule, there will be an entire day of fun and activities for Deluxe Members to enjoy!

It has been fairly quiet every where lately. Fall busyness I think. Anyway you can get the pumpkin man as a gift if you buy estore points and or in the trading room cause he is tradeable. Good luck. I can’t justify buying points because the Cdn dollar is so low compared to US.

I need some glow in the dark paint for my pumpkin……….I am gonna put the paint over a stencil (AKA too lazy to carve and put a candle in)
no luck so far……….I have not tried the Lobby tho
off to Nashville tomorrow to tour a school with dd………..

hmmm idk about glow in the dark paint dee? maybe you could do chalk board paint if your unable to find glow in the dark? idk? kinda the exact opposite of what you were talking about, but you’ll see it all day. and face it, your only gonna see the glow in the dark for the first few minutes & that’s only after you put the light in front of it.

The amount and type of arts and craft stuff seems to vary from one walmart to another. We have two near us one of them has a ton of arts and craft stuff but barely any fabric and the other one mostly has kits for kids art wise but a ton of sewing supplies. I have gotten glow in the dark paint from Michael’s several different times. Not sure how well the paint will work put it on thick if you use it. We have done refrigerator magnets in the paint and it does glow for awhile. Get the standard light green the others don’t glow as well. The glow in the dark masking tape glows for a long time I found that at Meijer. You could just paint it with regular paint and then put some little lights on either side so the design shows in the dark.

Hello Friends, how I have missed you all!
RL have been a bit difficult for chickadee lately. As you know she had a friend that passed about a month ago. Well, she had another friend pass away under questionable circumstances. This time it was a girl that chickadee was friends with in middle school. They had lost touch while attending different high schools and had recently reconnected via fb. From what I have been told the girl graduated hs in May and got married a week later to a guy that was much older (six years I think). Her parents were not thrilled that she was marrying so young, but did attend the civil ceremony. We have no idea how she died but she passed away on Sept. 23rd.
From the little her parents have shared it seems it was a possible domestic abuse incident. Chickadee and I attended the visitation and the girl’s husband was not there. We were unable to attend the funeral service because chickadee could not get off work so not sure if he was at the funeral or not. It is just so sad, another life lost far too soon.
Chickadee seems to be coming around and returning to her usually routine so hopefully she will stay on track and not lose focus. She has done an excellent job of reaching out for support and verbalizing her feelings. I am so proud that she has not relapsed into self-harm as that was her go to for intense emotions in the past.
Now, to play catch up in WW and on the blog…I have not read up…but have been thinking of you all and hope all is well.

Spent the evening shopping for YD school camping trip. I had no idea duffle bags were so expensive and they want them to have two. Her baseball bag was less. We got her school pictures yesterday and the photographer annoyed YD by insisting she stand a way that she thought would cause part of her outfit to bunch up. Which it did. But we got a great facial expression as a result, one of the kids in her class said it was her, you better run face. It is subtle and she just looks pretty with a nice smile unless you know her well but she was so done with that woman.

Haha tmt5, sounds like me a little bit..;) i have the tiniest expressions. I think the only ones to pick up on them though are my sisters. I dont see any of my friends regularly enough since i dont leave the the house for school, plus ny introvert status. 😎 I dont even laugh out loud most of the time. Its sort of an internal thing..XD
