WEBKINZ PET OF THE MONTH TIPS <\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

If you are lucky enough to have a Webkinz Pet of The Month you will see some nice rewards for it the entire month. I am really hoping that the Bulldog gets picked at some point in the future; I’d <\/em><\/strong><\/font>love<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> to get some special items for him! The Pet of The Month program rewards people who have a specific pet; this changes every month and <\/em><\/strong><\/font>new<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> ones are announce either on the first day of the <\/em><\/strong><\/font>new<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> month or a few days before it starts. You can read the Webkinz Newspaper to learn more about the specific <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pet<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> and a few hints about what the next months <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pet<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> might be.<\/em><\/strong><\/font>Is the Pet of The Month program fair to other users that don’t have that specific pet? I don’t see anything wrong with the program because there are still a lot of hourly and daily events<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> to take advantage of. I know a few people that will go out and <\/em><\/strong><\/font>buy<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> the Pet of The Month just to get the special items and features that Webkinz offers. Others will <\/em><\/strong><\/font>buy<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> or collect <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pets<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> but not activate the <\/em><\/strong><\/font>codes<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> until that specific critter is the PoTM. So far the Pet of The Month event is only for full sized pets, not the Lil Kinz.<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

Exclusive Loot Bag
\nSome people have said that they were disappointed with what they received, especially when it came to the amount of Kinzcash that they got. You have to remember, this is in addition to the “regular” items that you get when you adopt and activate a <\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/font>pet<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> so it’s icing on the cake.<\/em><\/strong><\/font>More Hourly Events
\nIf you go to the Today’s Activities tab and look for Hourly Events, more than likely you will see something that is just for Pet of The Month owners. It could be an extra spin on the Wheel of Wow or an extra W Shop coupon.<\/em><\/strong><\/font> <\/em><\/strong><\/font>Pet of The Month Items
\nThis month some of the special items include Frosty Snow Making Machine, Lurking Lagoon, Stellar Star Blaster and Newton’s Giant Cradle.<\/em><\/strong><\/font>The Pet of The Month program is a nice incentive for people who are thinking about getting a pet<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> but are hesitant because of the price of the stuffed animals. For the price of one of them you get full access to the site and all the <\/em><\/strong><\/font>games<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> and <\/em><\/strong><\/font>events<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> that are offered. If you already own a <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pet<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> that is pulled as a Pet of The Month you wouldn’t get the Loot Bag but you will be able to take advantage of the <\/em><\/strong><\/font>events<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> that are held around the site.<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/font>What does this mean for retail sales? First, it could cause retailers to stockpile <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pets<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> or limit them to one per person to try and <\/em><\/strong><\/font>drive<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> up the price. As far as <\/em><\/strong><\/font>online<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> stores, I have seem them charging as much as $30.00 for a Pet of The Month and claiming that you “can’t find them anywhere”. Considering that most regular sized <\/em><\/strong><\/font>pets<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> <\/em><\/strong><\/font>cost<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> between $11.00 and $13.00, any website or store that tries to pull this trick will never see another penny of my money.<\/em><\/strong><\/font>What are some of the special prizes that you can get for adopting a Pet of The Month? In addition to your usual welcoming gifts<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/a> you get some very cool exclusive items; for the month of October if you adopted and activated a frog you could get things like Donut Plant Seeds. Seeing as how I have a huge garden, these would have made an excellent addition but I wasn’t quick enough to get a frog! <\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/font>LOVE JELLYBEANS AKA POWERPUFF1100<\/em><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n
