Hello again everyone. I have some optimistic but cautious news about logging in to WW.<\/p>\n

The log in issue may have been resolved thanks to the WW members across the globe who took the time to call in and tell it like it is. It’s thanks to their efforts that we may be back in to WW on a more reliable basis.<\/p>\n

I just tried what is known as the Customer Service link in IE9 and it works !!<\/p>\n

Will all of you who read this please try logging in AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD before Wednesday’s maintenance fiasco and tell me if you are successful. This is the Customer Service link and I THINK it’s been re-activated and there are NO ads on the log in page or down the right-hand side of the screen once you are in WW. I have so far logged into three of my accounts successfully using IE9 !! I am getting reports from WI and WA from dozens of other members who are also able to log in as they normally did before the maintenance. These members are using all of the\u00c2\u00a0current, major browsers in both Mac and PC and they are all experiencing success loggin in. \u00c2\u00a0I hope all of you can, as well. Let me know how it goes.<\/p>\n

UPDATE \u00e2\u20ac\u00a2<\/strong> FIREFOX USERS<\/span> MAY HAVE TO CLEAR THEIR CACHE BEFORE THEY CAN SUCCESSFULLY LOG IN TO WW<\/acronym> USING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINK.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello everyone. I am MysticZon, author of the post that appears on the front page of your site. Momskinz invited me over to help shed some light on the IE9 fiasco but, to that extent, I see she has already published my post from WI in its entirety (with my blessing), so there’s not much more to add.<\/p>\n

However, I noticed that the links to my screenshots did not make it over in the copy\/paste. In that regard, please allow me to reprint the “HOW TO REVERT TO INTERNET EXPLORER 8\u00c2\u00a0 WITHOUT UNINSTALLING INTERNET EXPLORER 9” part, hopefully complete with screenshots.<\/p>\n

1. From the main page\/home page log in screen at www.webkinz.com<\/a>, click the LOG IN button.<\/p>\n

2. Press F12<\/strong>. This will toggle a feature in IE9 known as Developer Tools<\/strong>. The following window pane will pop up on the bottom of your screen.<\/p>\n

3. Click the button that says Browser Mode: IE9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Now select Internet Explorer 8<\/strong>.<\/div>\n

5. Click the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153X<\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the upper right-hand corner to close the Developer Tools window pane. Pressing F12<\/strong> again will also make the Developer Tools window pane close.<\/p>\n

6. Now log in as you normally would.<\/div>\n

IT IS SUPER IMPORTANT TO NOTE<\/strong> ~ That although you do not have to repeat steps 3-4 every time you want to log into another account, you will need to press F12<\/strong> just before you log in to another account. I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know why this is the way it is, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just an extra step I found that is necessary or else the WW screen will revert back to IE9 and you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll crash when you try to log in to another account. \u00c2\u00a0 Note that this does not affect other IE browser tabs or windows you may have open. You can still surf or continue working in IE9, even if you open a completely new browser tab or window<\/p>\n
