<\/a><\/p>\nIn the summer of 2010 we launched the Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters line of plush and section within Webkinz World. Since then, players have enjoyed building and exploring mazes, participating in daily activities and winning prizes. Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters can also be dressed, fed and played with like any other Webkinz pet.<\/p>\n
Recently more and more players have been unable to access Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters. The Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamster section requires the use of the Unity Web Player<\/strong>. Unfortunately this plug-in is no longer supported by browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and Safari, blocking access. As a result we regret to inform you that we will be closing the Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters section of Webkinz World on September 9th<\/sup>, 2015<\/strong>.<\/p>\n On August 19th<\/sup>, we will remove the Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters button from the Things to Do menu, but players will still be able to access the section through the building on the Map of Kinzville. On September 9th<\/sup>, it will be closed for good and will no longer be accessible.<\/strong><\/p>\n To get Mazin’ Hamster to work in Firefox:<\/strong> 1) Uninstall Unity and Firefox; 2) Re-install Firefox; 3) Login to Webkinz and visit Mazin’ Hamsters; 4) Use the link on the Mazin’ Hamsters page to download and install that version of Unity; 5) Log out and log back in to Webkinz.<\/p>\n Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamster owners will continue to be able to play with their hamsters in their pet\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s room and clubhouse.<\/p>\n If you have points to spend in Mazin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Hamsters, we recommend that you get all of your prizes before the section closes, as you will not have access to those points after it is closed.<\/p>\n
