From July 8 to 12 look for the Lil Polka Black Fish floating through Webkinz World and the Mobile App. Click on it to get a cool prize sent to your Webkinz account! Free and full users can spot this Lil’ Fish 3 times a day, while Deluxe users can spot it up to 5 times!

In the last release Webkinz changed forever with the ability for players to earn free pets just by regularly playing the game. They want trading in your medals for a new pet to be exciting. Like that first time you traded in your Gems for the legendary Crown of Wonder … something that you worked hard for and that is very satisfying when you succeed at reaching your goal.

So far we’ve had three ways to collect:

• Initial floating medallion event that awarded one per day
• Arcade prize system that can award up to 10 per day
• Daily Gift award

Starting in the next release we will have more chances to find medallions:

• Significantly improved odds of getting a prize drop when reaching a good score in the arcade and the odds of your prize being a pet medallion.
• Improving the odds of getting a medallion from the Daily Gift.
• Starting in August, Deluxe Members will receive pet medallions in their monthly Gift Box in addition to the current monthly awards.

They are adding Medallions to the Wheel of Wow and as prizes for some Daily Activities in a future release. (Delayed from the next release due technical issues.)

The August release we will replace the current Magic W floaty-clicky prize pool with Pet Medallions! Yes, you’ll have a chance to find another pet medallion every day!

The are also adding another SIX pets for you to collect in this next release, taking the total available up to 18: Raccutie, Cotton Candy Bunny, Tuxedo Cat, Batik Elephant, Arctic Fox, & the Mystical Panda (YES! THAT Mystical Panda!)

July will be here before we know it but there are still a few important things happening in Webkinz this month.

Before July begins, remember to enter the Webkinz Community Codes that expire on Saturday, June 30th if you haven’t entered them yet.

Summer Sensation will be on Thursday, June 28th. Players will be able to log in on the Webkinz mobile app or the website to receive a Summer Sensation gift, but the Super Wheel will only be available on the website. 

If you want to see the Summer Sensation gift before Thursday, you can see a spoiler of it.

The 2018 Berry Fest also ends on Thursday, June 28th, so be sure to complete the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy Challenge on or before Thursday if you want the prizes.

Please note the prizes (a Jumbleberry Fields Trophy and a Moonberry Gift Basket) from completing the challenge are not new, though.

Wacky Weekend will also run from Friday, June 29th to Sunday, July 1st. Players will receive one Wacky themed clothing prize each time they score more than 11,500 points playing WackyER Zingoz in the arcade (web only – not available on the mobile app).

The clothing prizes for playing WackyER Zingoz and scoring more than 11,500 points are also not new. However, the clothing prizes include the:

• Wacky Tuxedo Jacket
• Wacky Tuxedo Pants
• Wacky Ballroom Gown
• Wacky Ballroom Shoes

The clothing prizes for scoring more than 11,500 points are the Wacky Tuxedo Jacket, Wacky Tuxedo Pants, Wacky Ballroom Gown, and the Wacky Ballroom Shoes. These items are also listed above and are not new items.

The Garden Oasis room theme will be released in the W-Shop on July 4th and will be available for KinzCash.

Here’s a look at the garden chair that will be included in this theme. Players picked the Garden Oasis room theme based on the concept drawing for this item:

Players will be able to “open” and “close” the umbrella featured on the garden table by clicking on the table after it’s been added to a room:

These planters turned out really well and were designed to match the other Iron Wood items we released for the Chocolate Egg event:

The bright pillows on the garden bench will add a burst of color to your pet’s yard:

The color of the Gazebo changed slightly from the original concept drawing. I really like that the pattern on the bed sheets matches the umbrella that’s featured on the garden table:

Finally, here’s a look at the garden archway. The green and yellow colors that were used for this item are beautiful:

Podkinz 101 showed us some of the Garden Oasis pieces with the concept drawing vs. the Webkinz item. Included in the designs is a Iron Wood Fire, so it looks like they have incorporated from another one of the theme ideas – yay! The new Iron Wood piece will coordinate well with the 2018 Spring Celebration Iron Wood Watering Can (from milk chocolate eggs) or Iron Wood Side Table (from white chocolate eggs) some of the Jumbleberry prizes.
