gymbo – i was just think about you because we adopted a new pet for my oldest yesterday and had a blank spot in the dock where we couldn’t see the gift – finally today he couldn’t stand it any longer and dropped it in the room, we didn’t get the whole “gift” opening thing, but his psi, exclusive, and bonus box ended up in the dock – whew . . . i was worried that we might lose it forever 🙂

We have noticed the large influx of kids recently, and we will be discussing it with the mods. As long as they act mature, we don’t see a compelling reason to ban them at this time. They will be, however, on a very short leash. If they act inappropriatley, they will be banned quicker than if they were an adult.
Why you ask?
Because this IS a forum for adults, run by adults. No offense to our tounger members, but kids usually bring problems to forums that adults don’t want to deal with. And we also feel we need to protect them.
What does this mean for our adult members?
Nothing really. I think you should act how you would act if there were no kids here. That doesn’t mean you should swear, talk about certain inappropriate topics, flame other members, etc. Behavior like that is not tolerated; kids or not.
We will make an official post in the Announcement section when and if the situation warrants it.

I have read a couple threads on there that were not appropriate for children. I agree that it there are certain things that might be for more mature audiences, but the way they are handling it is so so so – what is the word I am looking for – harsh, but worse.

There opinion:
This is really a forum for adults; all of sudden, we have a lot of kids here. While strictly not prohibited, it dilutes the intention. I think there’s a lot of kid Webkinz forums out there. It just seems like in the past few days there are sooo many kids on here. I’m just wondering why the sudden interest in joining a group of adults?
Keep in mind, this is just my OWN opinion; others will have to decide whether it’s okay for kids to join. I just don’t see the benefit to it on either side.
Before there were a couple of kids on here, they were prescreened I believe and on the whole more mature than average. I believe this is not the case once you open the doors wide open to all kids joining in.
I’m just wondering why so many recent new members seem to be 13 or younger; aren’t there Webkinz Kids sites that are fun to join?

ok so I announced on the forum that I got my COW someone pmed me saying you may want to check your binder since you unlocked the COW
So I was thanking that person and said I would go try
Well I opened each binder went through eaach indiviual page and low and behold get to the prize page and the items that I had won earlier were unlocked once again and I was able to click on each again 😀

I haven’t been doing the gems much either I don’t have my first COW yet but Sberry who has all of our tc cards has her first one. We only got the car still need one card on two sections and a few on the fourth. I guess I need to get going on the gem hunt on her account too.

when you enter the Virtual packs you work on your collections once you have collected every card in one section you are awarded a prize which you click on the unlock
Well you are only supose to be able to do that one time
Well after I got my Crown of Wonder it rest all the prizes and I was able to reunlock them

I don’t know I am on Sberry’s account because I was looking at our cards and her pet really need to be fed then I put him on the treadmill in the room where the cards are and she asked for a bath and then I find her black poodle in the bathroom and I have no idea where the little guy is supposed to sleep.
