Looking for a way to beat the Winter blues? Look no further than the upcoming Winterfest event! Winterfest, our annual Webkinz World winter celebration, is coming this weekend!
From Saturday, January 23 until Friday, January 29, you’ll be able to take part in a bunch of fun Winterfest activities taking place within Webkinz World, on the Ganz eStore, and here on Webkinz Newz! Here’s a taste of what’s to come:
- Snow is falling in Webkinz World! Catch a snowflake by clicking on it, and you’ll get one of three wonderful, winter-warming rewards!
- Tune into Webkinz Newz for our Winterfest contest, where you can win an awesome Winter-related item! Contest details will be coming this Thursday.

I really like the blue one and the red one they did use. I think the raosted chestnuts, Peppermint Hot Chocolate and Wool Scarf Jacket were new last year as was the red snowflake rug.

AH – good question… probable answer = they figured out they could sell pixels in the estore instead of give them away at winter fest (yes, I know that sounds cynical), but being broke + the cool “deals” in the estore = me pulling my hair out!!
momskinz – how about a “pulling my own hair out” smiley to go with your banging head on the wall?
Why give pixels for free when the best ideas (would-be prizes) can be sold to people. Of course, I’ll be drooling over the items too. I still wish I had bought JR that Blue Dragster code and that snowmobile.

i hate being nickel-and-dimed. i’m trying really hard not to buy anything from the estore unless it’s a pet. as much as i would have loved some of the snow fort. i’d rather buy a chotchsky with an attached code. or a physical webbie.

JR drools over the estore pets, but still prefers a plush to hug at night. If the icicle trees are not given as prizes, they should startt to show up in the trading room (or as I call it: The Frust-trading Room.)
JR and I are collectors. He’d rather have a figure than a pixel of a figure. I get my fix through him. 🙂 I am not finding any other info on this year’s winter fest so far.

aunt haley – it is very rare these days to see a red wcares code on a pet in a store . . . i saw a few lately at a couple different walgreens stores, but that was the first time in a loooooong time, and it seems after i bought all of those, there are no more 😆

i hate how i can never tell the name of something unless i put it in the cart as if i were going to sell it at the WShop. i wish you could find the proper name of something when you scrolled over it in your dock or something. makes it so much easier to figure out what is what (and if it’s special).

Im usually really good at math and this is kinda easy to figure out but it has an answer key on the side of the worksheet and you have to match up the answer with the letter and put it at the bottom. So i know that most of the ones i have done are wrong because i cant find them on the side, i understand how to do it, but somehow im getting it wrong 🙄 my brain hurts.

Today i was torured in 3rd hour, my friends decided to put makeup on me and fix my hair. One of them said it was kinda childish how i dont like make up (which i found rude) i let them put the makeup on me just because we were all bored, but after 3rd hour i just went in the bathroom and washed it off.

make up is a personal choice… I am hoping my teaching my girls to not label people sticks… and judge people by how they look… actions and habits.. you have to make decisions on… as those things can have an effect on you too sometimes…

my hubby has only seen me with a little make up once, he came 4000 miles for an in person meet, still proposed to me… and married me, lol… I only wore a little make up on our wedding day and I am older than dirt… well now I am, hahaha

i have the spotted sea monster. i love how it floats along like it’s gliding in the water. the PSI is really funny! the webbie goes in and it doesn’t swim, like i expected. it pokes it’s head above water and looks around and then dunks back under. i think it’s cute!
