Clearing up some confusion
I wasn’t around when all the drama occurred about someone using some codes from an email that weren’t intended for them so I don’t know who knows what or who was involved in which conversations. It has taken a lot of detective work from several people to figure out what happened so this will be a long post but I want to clear this matter up.
First and most Important Comiclover05 did not use the codes and neither did her cousin or one of her friends. She is not even on the friends list of the person who used the codes.
This all started early in the morning last Saturday. Our cat Tim who was sick died and I was really sad. He was expected to get better. I wanted to talk to someone but it was 5:00am so I emailed my friend Gymbo. I asked her not to put a post up about him dying because I didn’t want to make any kids sad but with everything that has happened I figure I should just tell everyone. She wanted to cheer us up so along with some other Moms from the blog she emailed us a sympathy present. She also forwarded the email with the codes to the other Moms the gift was from. Kitkat was one of the Moms Gymbo intended to email but here’s where we ran into trouble. Awhile ago Kitkat won a tc code and Gymbo recieved a email saying I am Kitkat here is my email address to send me my prize. Only it wasn’t Kitkat it was Sheree. So Sheree who had already taken Kitkat’s tc code was sent an email with four codes on it intended for my family and she used them. Gymbo emailed her asking her to send us the figurine items and could she please apologize but Sheree ignored the emails. Malaika tracked down the IP address Sheree used on the blog and found several other blog users with that same IP.Â
Gymbo emailed each of these people asking if they knew Sheree. This is how Comiclover got involved in this. Comiclover panicked when she got Gymbo’s email and made up the cousin story so people wouldn’t think she did it. What Malakia and Gymbo didn’t know was the IP address wasn’t for a specific computer it was an AOL IP that is randomly assigned by a proxy server to AOL members. Different blog users that were also AOL members had been given that IP at different times. Apologies to the AOL members who got accused of using or knowing the person who used the codes by us amateur computer detectives. Early this morning we were able to confirm the webkinz world id of Sheree and that she put the lil kinz gray cat code on her site. Sheree’s user is shepink. Special thanks to Gymbo’s faeries at Ganz.
And thank you to Gymbo for sending my family new codes to take the place of the ones Sheree used and Thanks to Momskinz and Cocomac who gave us the original pet code.

I am so glad that we know answers to this mystery! I know that it took a lot of teamwork – thanks to the stupidity of greedy people and the magic of Gymbo’s fairies!
tmt – I just hope you know that our whole purpose was to extend our deepest sympathies to you in the loss of a dear friend and companion. I hope that gesture was not lost in all this fuss.
comiclover – I am sorry that this whole upsetting situation pulled you right into the middle. Sometimes grownups make mistakes, too, and I apologize to you.
Gymbo – Maya Angelou has a saying that I have used many times: You did then what you knew how to do and when you knew better, you did better. omigosh i didn’t know Tim had died. I am SO SORRY tmt. I remember what it was like a couple months ago when our dog was getting sick and she just got worse and worse and then we finally had to put her to sleep. It’s horrible I am so sorry
