dee, I read all you have packed in your car; I have a similar stash of ‘just in case’ items. You never know, ya’ know? 🙄 Target had some ‘might come in handy’ things in those $1 bins. I added waterproof matches, rope, special flashlight(tho’ I do have one of the crank kind too), and one of those silver blankets that are supposed to keep you warm in the arctic. 😆

That’s how I know chickens would probably be illegal in my town gramma. My neighbor who lives across the street had some milk goats and somebody down the block put up a big fuss and the town made my neighbor get rid of the goats. 🙁 It is kind of stupid because we live in farm country, but the keeping of livestock isn’t allowed within town limits.
Alisha, I love the rooster! It looks exactly like a rooster should look. And Thelma and Louise look great. Are you getting daily eggs?

Goat’s milk is really good gramma. Before my neighbor was made to get rid of the goats, he brought over fresh goat’s milk a couple of times. It has a sort of tangy taste to it. I watched him milk them once and it seemed really easy and fun.

LS, here it’s a property size. You need 5 acres to have a horse; not sure of the particulars on smaller livestock. We’re on a residential street. Neighbors behind us are on a piece of the family’s farm, which was sub-divided for the next generation. All this talk, I need to call township hall and ask some questions.

I wouldn’t think you would need five acres to keep chickens…you can probably keep chickens on less then an acre. Our towns write such silly laws, don’t they? 🙁 Apparently the neighbor who put up a fuss about the goats was worried about noise and animal waste. Like the neighborhood dogs don’t produce noise and waste? 😀

I was going to name my Pumpkin Puppy Rixey, but I couldn’t see myself having another webkinz name starting with R. Greyson was a good choice because I don’t have many kinz that their names start with G. Named after Greyson Chance. Have one for Justin Bieber. LOL Bieber the Beaver. Jeez, the only thing I want now is to go back to school! I can tolerate summer vacation for so long, and then I just get bored. My family has some day trips planned, but not until fall. I never have to practice going to bed either. It just happens. I get so hyped up the night before that I wake up WAY too early. I get up at 6:00, and I sometimes get up at 4:00, most of the time on the first day I get up at 5:00. Like I said, WAY too early. Then, I can’t leave my room until 5:30, because my uncle gets up and uses our only bathroom at 5:00. Having only one bathroom with 6 people, and a toddler who is potty trained can get rough sometimes. All of us have a time slot. We miss it, and it is a diaster! LOL

I love going to school! I love doing work during the day. I get bored so easily, It’s a challange for my Mom to find stuff for me to do. My aunt taught me to do the wash, and I get 20$ a week. Then again, I’m doing wash for 6 people. Not a bad pay day. Plus, it keeps me busy! Great trade off!

I count down the days. The week I start school I get more pumped up with each passing day. I am going to miss my aunt making me lunch though. My school food is kinda gross. I won’t eat most of it. However, I love the Egg Mcmuffins! Every time they have those, me and my best friend take turns treating each other to extras! At my school, you don’t have to pay for your lunch. If you want extra stuff, you have to pay.

Anybody can get Justice coupons. I learned a little trick from lurking at WI. If you type coupon into the search box at the Justice website it pulls the coupon up automatically. I never ever pay full price there. 😀

I was thinking about making a trade list but the trading tables haven’t worked for me since the beginning of the year, and there’s no way I would be able to trade. 🙁 Every time I put something on the table, it never shows up and my trading partner gets impatient and leaves. I think the last trade I did was in December when I was getting my mayor trade done so I could get my key to Kinzville.

I don’t think they have a schedule or anything when they release the pets crazy. I missed the ice fawn and the macaw the first time around and I had to wait ages for them to come back. It was easier when they had Wacky Wednesday and they rotated the pets through.

You can sell them without codes, we sold a ‘lot’ of them that my mom got from a yardsale free. They sold like $23. But shipping was like $9 I think and there was a lot of fees.

Just found my new favorite artist. His name is Jason Chen. He remakes new songs and changes the style. Really cool. My most played song on my Ipod Touch is Next 2 U by him. In actuality, Justin Bieber and Chris Brown sing it, but this guy’s version is over the top! I’ve only played it 121 times.

cwc – Just as a fair warning, lab puppies are VERY mouthy and have to be corrected over and over and over. April was TERRIBLE but June on the other hand was a breeze. If we would have had kids when April was a puppy, she wouldn’t have worked out.

Dee – Absolutely. For us, crate training has been a dream. They LOVE their crates. They sleep in there at night or if we go out somewhere.

Dee – People either love or hate crate training, but for us it has been GREAT! You can leave the house with full confidence of not coming back home to a destroyed house or unexpected ‘surprises’ all over the place. Plus, it’s a place that you can put them when company comes over and not have to be shut away in a room. Ours are in the Living Room so that when they’re in their crates and people are over, they’re still part of company.

dee, the crate is their safe heaven really. i much prefer it!! dee, i wanted to get another cat. we have one, but she adopted us and isn’t the nicest…she Siamese. or has alot of it in her. the kids don’t like to pet her, bc she bites randomly…and my sweet like baby bean is allergic. she is an outside cat that has taken over our screened in porch. her name is princess, which is fitting bc she thinks she is a princess. 🙄 actually i wanted to name her queen, or queen of Sheba, bc she thinks her stuff is the tops!! but the new kitty would have to stay outside with our psycho cat. the people that just let her go said she was too wild for the house. . . she is a freak let me tell ya. but i like her. good thing for her, bc i think i’m the only one. but who likes to get bit?

It annoyed me soo much last night when i heard her bottle feeding, the way he was drinking it sounded like he was sucking it down really fast and it was leaking out of the corners so I was like oh my gosh, its probably all over my bed!!! (the formula STINKS) and then she changes his diaper and I’m just like oh lord, let him not pee on my bed, but then she just leaves the dirty diaper there for half the night and its like right near where all my makeup is at. Oh my gosh, when a boy just whistles at me, she calls up EVERYONE. I’m scared I wont be able to interact with boys at lunch because one of my moms friends who lives in my neighborhood is going to be sitting with the special ed kids, which would be in my lunch. hopefully she wont ever see me. flow, you wouldn’t believe the difference when you nurse as opposed to the formula. and i’m not knocking anyone that has done formula. i did formula for my 1st son. i had NO IDEA about nursing and no one told me. i probably would have bottle fed again had someone not taken the time to tell me all the AMAZING things about it!!
AND the nursing babies poop doesn’t stink!! seriously, it’s like nothing ESPECIALLY compared to the formula fed babies…till they start eating food that is.

I am an anti-crate person, isolates them too much from their new family
never had a problem not crating.. though I made a multi “room” facility for my two pomeranians to be in while we were at work.. but that was because we were in an apartment at the time, they had a sleeping room, potty room, play room, eating room and an extra room too just cause, lol. Once we moved into our house I just put up a baby gate to limit where they could go while we were gone. Once potty trained no more baby gate
one pup I put in a crate, he was one we got from the shelter so I thought he would be used to “cages” well the poor one-eyed pup just cried, so I got him and he came to bed with us, like he had lived there all his life hahaha

idk when the rule is to quit. i did at 2 on my youngest. it was tough to stop. but the other 2 were around 14 months. i use to think people that went to 2 years old were freaks!! till i did it too. i guess that’s part of the reason we shouldn’t judge huh. 😳

i wish my mom would have let me tuck and roll out of the car when i was a kid krafty. i did NOT like being dropped pff right in front of the school. my kids don’t seem to mind. actually they like it when i walk up.
my oldest dd said that her friends said that i was not like their moms at all!! i was cool, pretty and dressed good! boy do i have alot to live up too. :/

when we fostered the pup, I had no crate to use BUT I was home all the time so it wasn’t an issue anyway, my sister’s pup we crated while I was at school and I don’t think at night but.. now I am not sure, lol it was a LONG time ago, she probably slept where ever our poodle slept, I think.. I just remember cleaning her crate everyday and washing her bedding daily too.. she would empty the food and water bowls and then use them for a potty ewww

and flow, they were referring to when i had lunch with her one day at school. i really didn’t think she would want me to go up there and do that, but she heard me talking about having lunch with my youngest dd and she asked why i don’t do that with her. so i had to!! so i sat there with her and some of her friends that i had never met and others i knew well from bday parties and coming over to spend the night.

i do need some good ideas on a dog though. we haven’t replaced the carpet yet (i want hardwood floors) but dh wants carpet in the living room and bedroom…but whatever, my point is that he said we should get a pup before we replace it. although i have NO PLANS for any accidents of ANY kind in my house. HA HA wishful thinking huh.
anyway, a good small dog that’s good with kids.

at FFQ’s elementary school the parents had to walk the kids TO class in the AM and pick up the same way… HAD to be dressed, lol good hehehe

Krafty~ Thats a bit crazy. I went to this really weird private school for the first part of 2nd grade and they were ridiculously strict. I’m not sure about the morning, but in the afternoon everyone would line up outside and your parents had to go up to the teachers and tell them that they are taking you home. If they didnt and you just left without letting them know, they would freak out on you the next day. There were a few times that my grandma had to pick us up because my parents had to go somewhere, and the teacher wouldnt let us go with her! She had to call my parents before she would let us go home with our grandma.

crazy, if you mean walk the kids. lol, I am crossing my lines of discussion I think, hahaha, then there is NO choice, if your child carpools, that is how it is.. parents go to to drop off and go to to pick up, I liked it ok…
though FFQ’s 5th grade year was rough, 3 flights of stairs up, and she played cello and flute so I would carry the cello and when she was running late.. park the car and dash across the lot, up all the stairs, through the kids.. hahaha what a good work out though

choco, ours is kinda like that. you have to have something special to get them AND be on the list and more. it’s good though. i wanna know that they are extra cautious in that dept!

the parents should always put in writing who can or who will pick up the child, too many wacko’s out there plus angry divorced parents taking off with the kids against court orders… it is very important
a friend of mine and I arranged with the school that after giving permission in writing for each other, a phone call would allow either of us to pick up the others kid

In the elementary school that i went to for the majority of the time, the teacher would walk the students to the designated door for their class, then they would let them leave. If you were riding the bus, you just walked to the buss with the other people in your class that took the bus, if your parents picked you up you would walk to where they picked you up at, and if you walked home, you just leave.
The only way the parents had to go to someone to get you is if they weren’t there 15 minutes after school ended, then you walk inside the school and sit in the office until they came and go you.
