ok, my cat is definitely not normal! lol no sir he isn’t. I’m not complaining because his um liking for vibrations makes it very easy to clean his back side area to keep it clean! but it’s just not right that he ENJOYS it! LOL I have vowed to myself that I will make a video of that next time, I have to no one would believe a cat likes to be shaved, funny thing is I let him go for a while this time and he started bugging me to do it lol he heard me oiling the blades after I cleaned it today, came in sat down and watched me. when I was done he flipped upside down and presented his um..area to be shaved. I kid you not I was shocked, usually he don’t like me shaving his backside, but this time he actually spread his legs. yup my cat is sick sick sick, and I have to get this on video cause I can’t believe it myself lol
OK now this new collectin thing is great!!!! nice prizes! I love when we get things that aren’t wshop.
and of course I missed those chairs yet again..sigh I never seem to be able to get those chairs. yet was able to get all the other pieces so far! lol they are going to become an obsession soon lol

I have four blueberry plants outside they are still growing but will be a few more years before I get a good crop, but I can’t wait to have my own again, I miss my black berry bushes and nut trees at the home I moved from. but at least I have a mulberry tree here!!!! ever have mulberry wine? I have a really antique recipe for that no preservatives so you have to refrigerate after bottling but if you drink it young its has a sparkle to it like champagne and it’s a light blush and goes well with chicken, my father isn’t a drinker but when he tasted that I pretty much had to give up half my stock back then! lol I can’t wait to be set up again to do my own wine and beer I’m not a big drinker but I love home made stuff. and I like to make jerky too..but this here house has a SMALL kitchen which basically sucks. no room to do things here which is why I am working in the cellar to make room for stuff like that

Saw Moonrise Kingdom last night. Not for young kids but charming and funny.
Made the caramel brownies for a BBQ today and it went quickly. Haven’t made baked fruit desserts yet. We’ve been having very sweet fresh melons, cherries and berries and they go fast as snacks. Will have to save the recipes for later.

gwenda – i love my kindle fire! a lot! i would recommend it over the ipod touch even just because of the screen size for reading, but know it is an advanced ereader, not a “full” tablet
i can go on the web, do apps, read books, email, etc. but there is no camera, no webkinz
i basically wanted a “lit” ereader with some extras – that’s what it is – love the price, love the screen, great for watching movies, playing games, and reading

Yes my tablet cost most than the Kindle Fire but for me, the kindle would not do enough for the price of it and its current limitations so I am happy with it. FFQ is aware of what the Kindle doesn’t do but still wants one, she would use it constantly though and it would suit her perfectly!

OK I understand about the kindle fire thingy, but it doesn’t do webkinz, so what table exactly do you have Krafty that does webkinz???? I have been looking for one and everything I looked at none could connect with it in the stores! they would only get the loader page and no more! so PLEASE I desperately want to know which one can access WW LOL I was told if I found one that could do it my guy would buy it !

you can imagine my excitement of getting one cause then I could go on anytime at home and not have to wait to use the computer I miss a lot of stuff cause I don’t get to go on after he gets home from work not till he goes to bed. but I have wireless all set up here so I am ready to get a tablet.

About the strawberry sorbet, chant, if you have a liqueur like grand mariner, you can add a few tbsp to lower the freezing temp. Else you have to warm up the sorbet before serving as it ends up being rock hard after being in the freezer for a while.

I know about this coz my honey just got one of these iPads for us to use when we’re going on short trips and not have to pay $14/day plus tax on wifi. We have a magic jack app on it and can use it over wifi to make free calls anywhere in the US or Canada.

LOL moms too funny, he is the one who actually suggested getting it for me he figured I could get books that way too for reading.
any info anyone here has I would love to here because I really want one that can do WW and do it without crashing all the time. I seem to remember that at the van thingy they said WW could be gotten on an IPAD now! (i think???) they had it set up but did not demonstrate it for some reason??? anyway I am all ears to learn which is best I’m not rich so I want to make the best choice possible for me. I just recently learned how to set up the WIFI here lol had to for the upstairs computer for our roommate. I got it to work so I guess I did it right lol

we picked up some marble chips at home depot yesterday to smother the weeds. they were the cheapest but my hon thinks the area now looks too white so we might pick up some dark ones to mix in later.
rf posted a delicious sounding lemon balm recipe earlier. i meant to look for that and the mint but our cart got full too quickly and i forgot about that. next time.

it depends primarily on what your intended usage is. we use the ipad to go online, play games, check email, watch videos, do mild photoedits after transferring photos. for email and reading online (websites and magazines), the kindle fire is smaller and easier to take everywhere.
also, for cowboom used ipads, read the description of the specific ipad carefully. my hon got something that looks new to me but right now other than one that has minimal signs of use, the rest of the inventory for the 1st generation ipad (no camera) has either long scratches or dents. i would avoid those.
