first day of school tradition for the grands is their respective parents take pictures of them just prior to getting on the bus. new duds, backpacks, and lunch boxes, etc.

4 1/2 c walnuts – chopped fine ish
1/2 c sugar
1/tsp cinnamon
mix
1 lb phyllo leaves
1 c butter melted
I use a 13×9 pan rubbed with butter. Layer phyllo leaves 1 at a time and brush with butter. After 6, add 1 cup walnut mix, repeat until all walnut mix is gone….layer the remaining phyllo brushing with butter.Using a sharp knife, score halfway thru in a diamond shape. Bake at 300 for 1 and 1.4 hrs or until top is golden brown. Warm 1 cup honey til liquidy and pour immediately over hot phyllo. Let sit one hour, cover tight and it will keep.

AND I do the phyllo leaves two at a time and some even three at a time, as I get bored after a hundred or so! ha ha ha
no more than three at a time tho….just brush that butter tho baby.
and you have to use real butter and real walnuts and real honey and real sugar and all….

Yes, it was a Road Trip event, Patsie, sadly we only got to see them once, we didn’t know the building they were in closed at 9pm so missed the second trip to see them.
We wanted to get a few more webbies and estore point cards, they were selling 10,000 point cards for $5 and webbies for $5 though older ones

the submit button wouldn’t show up on internet explorer – it does on firefox, but the tabs up on my firefox makes it really FAST to do a whole bunch of accounts

thanks for all the the links, momsk! on chrome i just waited for the clue to open, i didn’t need to click on the clue after it did, i just went to the next tab and saved extra clicks to do the accounts. not sure if it works the same on firefox.

in my experience, even tho’ euro accts are 5 hours ahead, the maintenance hasn’t taken effect til the same time as NA accts the next day. unless it finishes maintenance after I’ve gone to bed. lol maybe I should stay up later lol
