Howdy! we’ve had heeeeavy rains today. dd2 and I were shopping; could have used a raft to get from parking lots into some stores. Finally let up when we got home.

I had a road trip idea, but it is to an outdoors place and the forecast for the weekend looks like highs in the 20s…………NOT GONNA HAPPEN
30s and sun is fine, but windy and 20s……not my idea of birthday fun (even if there is a really good restaurant nearby)

there is a fondue place in Nashville……melting pot…….there is one in Chicago that my mom has gone too and loved. I looked up menu online and it is crazy money for something I am not sure the whole family will like.
nuttin worse than paying 30 dollars for a dinner that your kid will not eat, or having to stop at arbys afterwards to feed your hubby…………

there’s also an underwater observation walls and flooring 3000 points each (total 6000 points) that can be used in an inside room. no animation on the walls, only on the floors and a little pricey for my taste (pretty tho, hope it gets marked down in either the July or Christmas sales)
