The ghost is returning to the Clubhouse with new candies and a new grand prize!
Webkinz World’s annual trick-or-treat event is returning the Clubhouse from October 20th to October 31st! Visit the Reading Room in the Clubhouse and look for the ghost. Click on him to receive 1 of 12 delicious candies!
You can collect 1 candy every 3 hours.
Here’s a look at the new and returning candies he’ll be handing out:
Once you’ve collected all 12 candies, you’ll unlock the grand prize. Instead of another Jack O’Lantern, we’ve created a completely NEW prize this year: a Witch’s Broomstick!

Howdy all!
Boper, there has been some thought on the cause of the fire … as far as we know the adjuster still has questions on that, for the trailer.
Sadly, the way they conduct themselves while guests in our home does not earn the label “family” … we had originally but there has been so much discourteous, rude, inconsiderate behavior and lack of respect for us, our home, our pets and our belongings … they do not rate any longer .. each day of their visits is highly stressful and causes a lot of anxiety over what they will pull next. Plus things disappear when the sister is here .. it is not fun at all and BOB won’t back me up at all anymore.
Prime example .. it is 1:30am here and they have still not arrived. Once they do we have to go out and herd kitties and help put their large dog’s kennel fencing together … at least partially …

It is not 3:21am . they are still not here … BOB has had to call them for updates on their arrival… and no call either indicating they are relatively close to us. I sent FFQ to bed but she is stressed out and can’t sleep ..
I tried to talk to BOB to have them stop at a motel so we can go to sleep … NOPE .. “they are getting here as fast as they can” … maybe but they should have stopped hours ago and stayed at a motel .. handled the car problems in the morning and then come the rest of the way. … FFQ has college classes starting in the morning and BOB has rehab and then has to come home to work for a few hours … lack of sleep and high stress are triggers for my seizures .. swell …
BOB said for me to go to bed but that won’t work … he can’t see well enough to watch and herd the kitties and supervise them bringing stuff inside etc.

The BIL called me at 4am to let me know they were relatively close … directed them into the driveway … greeted .. got them inside, after a fashion … got treats for their dogs .. BOB woke long enough to grouse at them and me to go to bed … they went to their room …
I am baking my right hoof so I can drive in the morning … still no idea who is taking BOB to cardio rehab …
Now .. I am starting to get tired again … powered though the last sleepy spell … and yes NOW I would have less than 2 hours sleep zzz

I stopped and got some peppers and avocados….
so carnitas, guac, refried beans…..tortillas and some kind of green thing
I had cabbage for cole slaw……….anyone know any Mexican slaw recipes?

carnitas (dees version)
1 pork roast (cheaper cut of meat the better)
1 can rotel (I use original)
1 cup chicken broth
1 green pepper, sliced
1 whole onion, sliced
a spoonful of that prechopped garlic stuff you can buy at the store
cilantro/cumin to taste
salt to taste
put all but peppers in crockpot on low for 6-8 hrs. Midway add sliced green peppers.
You can eat it over rice, or make tacos out of it………or just eat it……it turns out so good and juicy from sitting in the crockpot…..

As chaotic as things have been here I haven’t been having much blog time either so I missed the sale info … and I am rarely on facebook … if they would tweet the info it would be a little better for me … I could set twitter to send a notification …
At 8am yesterday I was getting ready to take FFQ to the college for her classes .. got back did some chores and ate .. did a little webkinz but was fading so fast I didn’t get to check here … crud me 🙁

rotel is basically canned diced tomatoes with spices added…..
you can use regular tomatoes, but will have to up your spice adding.
Plus the liquid is good for the meat to crockpot in…….

So I just realized I missed deluxe day. I got the Asian and European last night but just now made it on the computer for me time and oops.
Turns out I am now slightly allergic to the TB test solution. I have never had a problem with them before but this time my arm, hand and shoulder aches on that side especially the forearm bone. Overall the arthritis is worse today than it has been. I checked and there is Polysorbate 80 and oleic acid in it, could be either one or both of those. I took benydrl last night and ended up spending the day in bed. Then evening came and OD had color guard and it was parent teacher conferences for her only got to talk to two teachers because I got there later than planned, the book YD read for her book report turned out to be a thriller rather than a mystery and she couldn’t answer the questions on the book report form so emergency run to the used book store. Then I ended up having to cook all the meat I had in the frig because I didn’t end up cooking anything Sunday or Monday. Made pork steak, lasagna and roasted a chicken.

BOB had laser treatment for one eye yesterday … bleeding in the eye … did well and had some blurriness at the office right after the procedure but was less so by the time he got back home. The appointment for the other eye is in a couple weeks and recheck to see if it all worked out well not for 4 months .. O_O
