I have an extra purple and aqua ornament dress, extra package dress, and shoes, extra king crown and shoes. I am looking to trade for the big head bow, queen crown and reindeer feet (which probably are not tradeable at this time since the rest of the outfit isn’t.) Anyone willing to trade, please let me know. I can also trade something else if you don’t need any of my extras.

i’ve been gone all day, just got home and found my package from Macy’s only to be very surprised that the sheet set I bought was actually only a pillow case set. I thought I was getting a good sale on a sheet set b/c the original price was $70! for JUST pillowcases?! heck no! lol too fancy for me, but ugh, now i have to return them and find replacements asap π

did you get the hotel line with the high thread count? we were looking for flannel sheets a few weeks ago and were astonished at the prices for the regular cotton sheets at macy’s. even on sale, we thought we can do better by getting them from overstock.com instead.
we were happy with their martha stewart flannel tho and got a set of those in powder blue on sale. we had a gift card from last xmas from honey’s parents and it was finally put to good use.

zingy – the prices on sheets are crazy right now – ugh!
these were 500 thread count, not crazy enough for $70 for two standard size pillow cases imo
i’ll go in the morning and try to beat any crowds, just annoying, i did the search again for sheet sets & they showed up again without saying pillowcases on the large font part of the description

Walmart has flannel sheets this year … I would love to get a set for my bed and for the girls’ bed .. last year .. maybe the year before? O_O they only had .. like tshirt material style … but more stretchy … the are horrible … don’t stay on the bed … or the pillow …

I have had tons of trouble with fitted sheets that wont stay on the bed. I only have one that works properly at the moment, so every time i want to change sheets i have to wash it immediately so i can use it again. I gotta find some more soon.

and macys will have theres on sale in January…..if you have macys card they give you coupons…………I gots some lovely lovely sheets there for a queen pillow top for not much…………….we are good to go sheet wise here….the higher thread count means they are comfy and last longer…….

dd has a twin, spare room has a queen (regular) and our bedroom has some thingy dh picked out, that I truly have to jump up to……….I hate it!
and had to buy sheets that fit……I have one flannel set that fits, and two regular………..we have oodles and oodles and oodles of pillowcases that I have picked up over the years (macys sale and Tuesday morning sales) that “go” with the colors, so they are easy to swap out………
yeah, maybe a wee bit of a problem with all that

saw an article about tiny baked potatoes that you top and they are bite sized…..looked cute……….

Tuesday morning seems to have the “blah” colors cheaper (like grey, blue, taupe) so that may work for a warthog…..like I said, I swap out pillowcase colors to jazz it up………….ha ha ha
my Tuesday morning will even bargain with ya if it is something on clearance

like I said January is when to buy linens and mattresses………after Christmas and all that……………I think I read it on some consumer report thingy…..
I do not mind paying for quality, but ………….thankfully, we are set right now, so any thing else is dΓΒ©cor……….which does not factor in family budget right now.

One set of my grandparents are having tons of trouble now. My grandma has a bad dimensia problem as of late partially at least due to stress since my grandpa is hospitalized. He is having issues with one of the valves in his heart not closing properly and a leg that has a need of a bypass surgery for a bad artery, he also has been in dialysis for a while now. So Grandma is stressed and her memory has gotten worse and worse the last several days, so she cant be responsible for anything. My aunts are closer so they are trying to help her but they can’t be around 24/7. Well thats kinda how things are now, so i thought i’d steal the new term pulling a chant and use it. ;P

there used to be a tuesday morning not too far away (about 40 minute drive) but they closed π
we like tj maxx too but haven’t checked it out for sheets, only towels and cookware. do you have marshall’s there? they sometimes have great deals too. but yeah, if you can wait for deals like dee said, there should be sales galore coming up soon

strange how they figure where to put stuff……I would love to got to a burlingtons…………there is one in Nashville but it is an oddball location for us……..
In anchorage, we hit it twice a month! good good prices AND it was next door to the joanns!

I have found some really nice sheets at Kohls.
The ones I’m laying on right now as a matter of fact.
I think there 400 maybe 500. I don’t just go by the count but also the feel. I had these a few years and there still like new. I have to have smooth nice sheets. I like quilts a lot too, but only the 100% cotton fill & down pillows. π

i found some sheets this morning – they are nice, not as high thread count, can’t remember 450 or 550 maybe, but super soft and great looking stripes that aren’t “girly”
