Dawn & ShellyB are hosting a comment contest!
It lasts through Monday since Monday is a Canadian Holiday & these ladies are Canadian!
The prizes are pet codes for the following: Knit Sock Dog, Pelican, Lilac Guinea Pig, Summer Beaver, Midnight Owl, & Chow Chow.
Here are the Rules:
- To qualify, you must comment with which pet you would like to win to begin your comment.
- You may only list ONE pet on each comment, and it must be the first words of your comment.
- You may list more than one prize pet if you would like to win several choices, but they each must be on SEPARATE comments. One pet per comment.
- Limit of one pet code per winner.
- Make sure you check back this week for instructions to claim code prizes!

KGH – The same thing happened to me. I had to call Customer Service. I bought the membership during a promotional 25% off. The system was putting me in for 10 months…not 12…therefore, not awarding me the Cheetah code. This eas back in May, I think. I hope all works out for you.

puppuphk, the 1st Monday in August is Civic Day. Most provinces have added a little more flair and have renamed the holiday. In Alberta, it is called Heritage Day, Terry Fox Day in Manitoba, Natal Day in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, but some provinces just call it Provincial Day.

Here where I live there is a large festival (Heritage Days) where people celebrate their heritage. Most countries are represented. Most pavilions have food and items from their country.. There is entertainment too. It is a huge yearly event.. Free to go, but you do have to buy tickets for the food. I love trying all the different foods. Hate the crowds.. Hundreds of thousands of people.. And you can’t park.. Have to take busses there so I try to go every 3rd year.

KGH, I won the new WackyER prizes after 5 tries (3 windows and 2 lamps) … seems totally random as it took several tries on 1 account but then won on 1st try on another.
Wacky floaty (Wacky is wearing a jetpack) came by about 6-7 minutes after logging in, then at about 6 minutes apart.

I like to wait in Kinzpost because I open an extra screen to do Peek-a-Newz while I’m waiting. Also, the Kinzpost background doesn’t have a lot of distracting/moving things so I see the floaties better. It’s boring in Kinzpost but I set a timer, go do my dailies or family score then hurry back to Kinzpost when the time for another floaty is about 30 seconds away.
