Room Theme Ideas
According to Webkinz Newz:
Soon it will be time to add another room theme to the W-Shop which will, once again, be determined by a vote on Webkinz Newz. Do you have any suggestions for new room themes that you’d like to see added to the shop? Were there themes that didn’t win in the past that you’d like to vote for again?
The last theme introduced was the Party Theme.
The people here at Gymbo’s are some of the most creative Webkinz room designers I have ever seen! What are your ideas for new room themes for Webkinz World?

hi everyone!
i’m sure there are far more clever suggestions from peeps here but i wouldn’t mind an outdoor garden theme. or any theme that would add more plants/trees to wshop.
i was trying to post before the other thread closed but i guess i dillydallied and it closed before i could submit. so what i wrote below are in response to comments on the previous post.
i don’t think i ever saw the marlon brando film in its entirety, dee, but i did watch the play way back when i was a college student in NYC. i went to a liberal college and took an intro to theater class for electives as an undergrad. it was fun watching broadway/off broadway shows for school.
rubycubes, i’m sending all kinds of hugs and positive thoughts and prayers for you and your family. i hope everything goes well with dd’s surgery plus her bday.
wow, congrats on the trophies for the zangoz game, gaga. thanks for all your kind words about my honey’s progress. he’s getting better, though not enough that i’m off being his personal uber driver. i’m looking forward to us having more exercise when he’s off the cane.

i wouldn’t mind another water room, just not so blurry looking. maybe a polar one??
or a mars room where the pets wear space helmets instead of the water bubbles

hi kat! i like the idea of a room theme for some of the characters – i think a curio shop theme or arte fact type theme might be fun for decorating, too

i am amazed they never shut down the parent thing……..they do slack off on deleting stuff once they have called it quits………..somebody needs to sell my fancy pets before the whole thing folds

Another jungle theme would be nice. I redid a bunch of rooms in my house recently and i had like 5 jungle rooms and they all looked the same. Ended up condensing them and giving some of the pets different themes for their rooms. I think i have 2 jungle rooms now.
An outdoor theme would be nice too. Maybe a garden one? I know there’s that one that’s in the curio shop, but i don’t think it has stuff like a bed, couch, etc. I like themes i can use for bedrooms.

Zingy – Thank you for the thoughts and prayers! Through all of this, I’ve thought about you a lot too. I’m so glad your hubby is improving. Do you know how much longer until he is able to start driving? Does he have to be cane-free to drive?
My husband made huge progress this week. Last week, his doctor told him to start partial weight bearing and gradually increase to full weight bearing as long as everything felt ok. He’s in a compression boot instead of a cast now, which he has to keep on all the time except when he is in the shower and sleeping. But he is able to walk around without crutches, which has given him so much more independence. He will be returning to work next week. He’s allowed to drive now, which he hasn’t done yet, but will attempt within the next few days. He has to keep his boot on to walk to the car, take it off in the car, then he can drive without the boot, but he has to put it back on before he gets out of the car. He will be in the boot for a few more weeks, and he will probably start rehab next week or the week after. Every little bit of progress is wonderful! And as soon as he’s able to drive, I am officially resigning from my daytime job as his uber driver!
Amber – Thank you for stopping in. It’s so good to see that you and ME are doing well! How are you feeling?
Dee – I finally got around to making that corn salsa recipe. OMG it was delicious! I can’t remember if you put cilantro in yours. If not, that’s the only thing I tweaked. Salsa isn’t salsa for me without fresh cilantro. I made a huge batch of it a few days ago, and we just finished it off today. My husband is already asking for another batch. Thanks for that recipe!
I also made the Katsudon, and that was a major score with my husband and daughter. I wouldn’t make it regularly because it’s fried in a lot of oil, not very healthy, but they loved it so much, so I will add it to the once-in-a-while list. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try it because it’s made with pork, and I don’t eat meat, but it looked delicious. I think I’ll make myself a vegetarian version with tofu next time I make it.

Moms – That’s a bummer about the Ganz World Moneyz. I saw that on the Newz earlier, and I entered a comment asking them to put some good items in there for us to spend our Moneyz on, but they deleted my comment, so I’m guessing that’s a no. LOL.
TMT – I haven’t see you around much lately. I hope you’re feeling better and doing well. I miss you!
With regard to room themes, I love some of the ideas posted above! Gwenda, the caverns theme is awesome! I created an underground crystal caverns cave room using the estore wallpaper, but it would be cool to have a full room theme in the wshop. I’m not a fan of pet shops, Dee, but I LOVE the idea of a people shop. LOL. Keep the pets out of cages. Let the dogs and cats poke people pets with feather wands in their cages.
A few ideas I’ve had for room themes:
A roller rink – Complete with dividers to make the rink, a skate rental counter, a pizza/candy/soda counter, tables and chairs, a DJ booth that plays some upbeat techno tunes, a disco ball that changes color, and some wall clings of roller skaters. And then they need to release some roller skates for our pets to wear.
A gymnastics gym – With a thick blue floor mat bed, a long trampoline, cubby hole shelves to put your shoes in, a balance beam to walk down, uneven parallel bars, a large exercise ball to sit on, and some wall clings of gymnasts.
A Chuck-E-Cheese type room – They probably couldn’t do that specifically due to the trademark, but they could do a knock off like they did with the Beauty and the Beast mystery clothes. I’m thinking of a giant ball pit surrounded by black netting, ski ball lanes that actually play ski ball (they would have to create the game) and award kinz cash based on how many points you earn, a car ride that you can sit in and it moves back and forth like you’re driving, a prize counter that is a dispenser (click on it and get a piece of candy or cheap toy), pizzeria style tables and chairs, and a stage with a mic. And then they need to release a mouse costume for our pets to wear. 😀
Chococat – There is also the bloomin’ theme room, which was in the Wshop for a while, and can still be found in the curio shop. That had a lot of flowery, garden-like furniture – bed, tub, kitchen furniture, sofa, chair, etc.

I am sure both of your hubby’s will be so thrilled to get their independence back and are able to navigate on their own…
moms… seems like we have accumulated about 4 inches of snow so far…Advisory continues until this afternoon…
Coins are flying in WW ! seems like appearing every 5 minutes…No luck with rare coins yet .. but we’ll see..
Would be nice if Webkinz Newz offers to better prizes to cash in Rewards money… same .. same ..same..Not worth all of the time put into Peek a News

Can’t believe they are discontinuing the GanzWorld Rewards. I spent the whole morning inventorying what I had and spent about half of my Moneyz. I still have so much Moneyz left, though. Wish they would add more prizes than they already added.

Dee, My items showed up in WW. If you exchanged for KC, I think it just adds to your WW account’s KC total and you don’t get a coin. The WW notifications in top right will notify you for items.

Sad that they are going away with the Moneyz! But they added a bunch more prizes back in, so that was nice … how long do you think we have before it’s gone? A week? Any tips on earning the maximum cash per day other than the PAN and clicking on the monthly food? Saving up for those last few prizes, and I get tired of clicking …

i guess billie jean was released 35 yrs ago today, so i had to watch the video on you tube, then had to watch beat it and thriller……..man on man, i so did not pick up on his signals back in the day!
dh is cooking dinner (feel free to look at your watches), but one of my fave movies is on…….day after tomorrow……..no clue why i like it, have seen it about twenty times
and i rented thor ragnarok at the video store today and it was really good!
lady bird is out too……..i read good things about it and told dd and she loved it..i like the actress in it…………and yes i live in the backwoods where they still have video rental stores!
