Gaga – The birthday celebration was wonderful. The girl from Spain made Tortilla de Patata (Egg & Potato omelet) with a strong garlic sauce that you put on top of it. The girls also made noodles that were made with truffles in them, plus they cooked them in truffle oil. I didn’t know that truffles were mushrooms and my dd said very pricey. I think 1 lb. of pasta cost $16, plus the oil was very expensive. But very delicious! I’m not sure how my dd’s friend from Spain liked the grilled steak because there was too much talking going on, plus we had surprise guests. She only ate half of her steak, so I hope that doesn’t mean that she didn’t like it. She is rather petite, so I’m hoping it was more that the quantity was too much. Thanks for asking! Oh, and the girls made red velvet cake from scratch and I know that she definitely liked that. We use shortening, and she isn’t sure she can buy that in Spain.

Queen of Sheba.. dinner sounds really delicious.. have never had truffles but do like mushrooms.. Sounds like the girls worked really had on making a nice dinner and fun gathering…
gramma… I woke up at 3am this morning .. Stayed up and made some coffee… however… kind of a rainy day so after finishing my Saturday chores… ended up taking a really nice nap !!

Congrats on the trophy momz! I’ve been trying to get that one, but without much luck. But I like that game, so i’ll probably get it eventually.
Gypsy passed early friday morning. I actually think my mom was more upset at first than I was. She had been hopeful and I think she thought she’d make it longer and possibly get better, but I knew she wouldn’t. I had already accepted that she wouldn’t make it, but I think my mom was shocked.
We got her ashes back today along with an imprint of her pawprint. My mom picked out a beautiful box for her ashes since I was too upset to go yesterday. Now she’s in our curio cabinet alongside our old cat, Salena.
I’m heartbroken, I had her for 2/3 of my life and now she’s gone. I can still remember when we got her.
To make things worse it’ll probably be years before I can get another cat. My mom has said for years that we won’t be getting anymore pets and even if she changed her mind, it wouldn’t be a good idea. My parents are moving in 2 years and by then i’ll be in graduate school. I’ll probably be living on campus (I’ve been looking into on campus apartments) and you haven’t have pets there. I wouldn’t want to have a pet with so much uncertainty about my future living situation.

OMG, Chococat, your Gypsy reminds me of my Gypsy! She was such a lovely cat, too. I am sorry for your loss and I understand the hesitancy in getting a new one. Especially if you are looking at going to move to campus.
Congratulations, all on your Goody Gumdrops trophies. I am a long way away from one of those anytime soon.
Liking what I see in this years collection event, but just looked back at the 2016 collection and that far exceeds and surpasses this in quality. I missed that event. I missed very one for 2016 and when I come back, it seems they have scaled back their productivity, or is it just a ‘grass is greener’ thing?

I like the acorn window thing, but don’t like that it’s estore. I feel like it should’ve been the grand prize for collecting the acorns.
I saw something on webkinz newz about fall fest coming up, have the prizes for that been shown yet? I don’t recall seeing anything about them.
Gagagee – We have a poem about the rainbow bridge in the curio cabinet with them. Hopefully Gypsy and Salena can finally get along now. Salena was very territorial, so when we brought a kitten (Gypsy) into /her/ house, she wasn’t happy. It wasn’t until we got the dog that they finally started to get along because they had a common enemy (the dog). Gypsy had a tough time when Salena passed a few years ago, she started overgrooming herself which led her having patches of fur missing. The vet said it was her way of grieving and the poor thing had to wear the cone of shame for a while.

bananas and straw yogurt and milk in blender………..add FRUITY PEBBLES
and make breakfast popsicles out of it by pouring into popsicle mold
needless to say i thought of you………..i am sure you can find the recipe
our company is enroute to airport………..

Dee – she was very talkative, you could have ‘conversations’ with her. And she was quite the princess. She’d set at the top of the stairs looking over her kingdom and judging everyone, specifically the dog. Salena was also a siamese, but she was a bit more humble.

found them dee:
1 1/2 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
3/4 cup 1% milk
1 cup Fruity Pebbles, divided
Instructions
Put yogurt and milk in a blender and blend until combined.
Stir 3/4 cup Fruity Pebbles into the yogurt mixture.
Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup Fruity Pebbles into the bottoms of popsicle molds.
Pour or spoon the yogurt/milk mixture into the molds. Hit molds on the counter a few times to push the yogurt mixture into the mold and remove air bubbles.
Insert popsicle sticks.
Freeze popsicles for at least 6 hours or overnight.
To remove popsicles from molds, run molds under warm water for about 15 seconds and gently jiggle popsicles from molds.
They look delicious! 😀

In agreement with everyone that the fall window should have been the grand prize and not an e store item…

New plushy is another one from the Pebble Collection however will not be available until Oct 1st due some manufacturing issues…
Chococat.. Gypsy was a beautiful cat.. We had a Siamese cat growing up.. she had crook at the end of her tail which my Mom always told us that Cleopatra used to put her jewelry on her cat’s tail and tie a knot .. and so the crook was common in Siamese cats… ???? not sure where she came up with that piece of information…

Yep, maintenance is on Wednesday!
I’m especially busy as I prepare for one more vacation (coming up) for a week and when I get back….boom! I have to be ready to teach six classes! Where did the summer go?
Finished all the challenges that I had decided to do (skipping two free accounts, that I could adopt a pet on, but too busy to come up with names, etc. Plus, then I would be obsessed to play catch-up on Wacky Challenge and more. So I’m letting those accounts slide).
Today was my oldest dd’s birthday. She lives about three hours away, but we had nice phone conversation! Tomorrow, I’m going to visit a friend that just had a baby. She missed my dd’s birthday by one day (born on Sunday).
My youngest dd’s friend from Spain left today. We truly enjoyed having her in our home. She fit right in to our family!
Oh…back to Webkinz….I finally got a ModKinzVisionTV as a PAN prize. I don’t know if that is a new one or not, but I didn’t have it. I was able to get the elusive tiles on my account & dd’s account!
