   I’m not even remotely tempted by the tiger. The only pet I would be tempted to spend that much money on is the Stone Lion, and since it’s a medallion pet, I won’t have to. Of course, this is assuming I ever get any Stone Lion medallions, which I haven’t, on any account. 🙄

   Northern peeps: we’re supposed to have Northern Lights extending pretty far down in the next few days, so if you live in Canada or a state that borders it, keep an eye out! I probably won’t see it, because even though I’m in a state that borders Canada, I’m too far south, and also it’s been raining here for a week with more rain likely for the next week. 🙁

   I am so tired of rain. It rained a good chunk of my vacation, and while I’m VERY used to hiking in the rain, I don’t particularly enjoy it. Your boots get all squelchy and it makes the mosquitoes breed like crazy. I came back from vacation with 72 mosquito bites. We have this thing where we count who got the most mosquito bites on a hike (yes, I know it’s weird!) and the winner gets the Bug Bait of the Year award. Hubby won it this year with…get this…112 bites! He really enjoyed his trophy, which was a monster tube of calamine lotion.

   Passing on the tiger too. I think I’d rather spend points on other pets and clothing bags coming up.

   PPP is the pits! Although nothing can compare to Lunch Letters. That game gave me anxiety! moms, loved your comment about how they pick the worst games to remind us why we hate them! LOL

   TLL—Thanks for sharing your fun adventures! You have me laughing! I usually win the most mosquito bites in my family. They love my Irish skin, at least that’s what my grandma told me as she was fighting them off! I’ll get bit like crazy and DH won’t have any. Love the fun calamine award! The rain has finally ended here. There was record flooding all around the state.

   Cheese—When I saw the GBBS room I immediately thought of you and dee! I thought they did a great job!

   dee—I love that you stopped a GBBS to go bake an apple cake! Can’t wait to find the new oreos.

   gaga—Thanks so much for the birch bed! Was glad I had something on your WL. I hope your job gets a little better and yay for your Browns!

   amber—So happy to hear you, dh and ME are all doing well and what an amazing trip you have planned! I’m sure little ME will adapt quickly and you will have a wonderful time!

   Trying to get one or two boxes unpacked a day, but I’ve got a couple work projects and RL stuff…still have to make it to the DMV for new licenses and find a new bank. Anyone have any good gift ideas for my friend who just had knee replacement? Was going to do the usual goodie care package, but wondered if anyone had any good gift items that would be helpful to her. Thanks!

   april – your friend might enjoy a couple of those flexible ice packs so she can rotate them in and out of the freezer, but they bend to conform to the knee? i do goodie packages usually with a magazine and like a word search book or something like that

   i’m trying to keep up with the florence forecast but it’s changing so often, we don’t know what to expect yet!

   No Tiger here! Being a toddler mom, AND planning to homeschool preschool beginning this week, I have a MILLION things I can use $100 for! XD

   We’re in GA, and Florence has our attention too. We’re not in the danger zone, nor near the coast, but we’ll get very very wet this weekend. We need to batten down the hatches, get everything out of the yard and stashed safely, make sure the sewer drain in the backyard is clear, and make sure our emergency kits are stocked with water, batteries, snacks, and supplies.

   Has anyone bought the Moonberry seeds from the eStore? The ones that grow in your yard and make Moonberries periodically that can be added to your marmalade in Jumbleberry fields? Are they worth it? How often do you get a Moonberry? I’m eyeing the Moonberry and Pickleberry bundle maybe to ask Santa for this Christmas. Do they contribute to getting a prize from filling the jar?

   Also, does anyone have any of the Marshmallow Collection prizes spare for trade or up for grabs? I re-joined WK right in the middle, and had no friends to send marshmallows. I barely scraped together the 10 for the canvas picture on the last day LOL

    Well, the desk particularly- Any of them were nice, but I find that both the Wshop and eStore are lacking in classy desks cluttered with books and pens and such. I <3 that. But I know it was the Grand Prize, so maybe I have something that someone wants to trade for it.

    amber, she will be out of whack, but so will you……….you know by now her sleepy cries, so just follow her lead……….does she have her shots? make sure you get her passport stamped!

    and choco, we do vegan here when dd is in town……….she has made vegan chili, but just with different kinds of beans………she made enchiladas with the tofu crumble thingys………..her big gripe is vegan cheese does not melt!
    i have gobs of vegan baking and regular recipes if you need something

    Evening all, i’m telling you I will not be a part of Kinz-story .. That Purple Tiger is a temptation because I am a Tiger, but that is all. I don’t want to spend 100K points to get it. I have many other things I could spend that money on. I have been diligently saving and purchasing the inexpensive items at the eStore. When it’s all said and done I have probably spent that much already, but I have a lot more items to show for it. Kitty is much too rich for my blood, thanks.

    Idea for friend with knee surgery. Other than a small college fridge by chair. A heated blanket and a clip fan for next to chair. Maybe pamper with a small portable coffee warmer next to chair . Or go all out with small coffee pot. Things they can use without leaving chair.I broke my foot sprained the other. I got a foot warmer boot from Amazon that fits both feet. WE ALL need a lil hug now and then 😉 OH GOOD LUCK and a kids sneaker with roller shoes will make it a lil easier for moving that leg around house without bending. The rollers roll . JUST LIKE on WEBKINZ – livin the life 🙂

    Sorry I’ve been MIA. My life is crazy. Classes started on Monday and things won’t let up for a while. I checked the blog once while I was on vacation, but I couldn’t remember my password to comment.

    My m-i-l fell on vacation and broke her hip, so hospital visits, etc. were the name of the game. She had surgery and by the end of the week we were able to transport her :”home” (well, to rehab center) for recovery. Friday, my dh & I went to a movie – Christopher Robin! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

    One of these days I hope to go back and catch up on all that I missed!
