Mod Holiday Winner – boper!
The Creative Team at Webkinz has selected three fan-designs from the Mod Holiday Design Contest to add to the Mod Holiday theme in December. The winning designs are Wall Divider by cakis, Record Player Side Table by chocolatekat, and Mod Holiday Sleeping Nook by boper!!!!

Hello to everyone! Bummed I missed the floating leaves the other day, but hopefully I’ll have time during fall fest. I love fall. I’m so ready for a crisp 65 degree day.

moms— LOL just our luck. Oh well, hopefully the leaves will be flying fast during fall fest. Good to ‘see’ you too! We’ve got college football on and dh and I are making shepherd’s pie with cauliflower mash topping. I’m so ready for fall!

April… nice to see you ! Definitely looking forward to football season to start
Not looking forward to season that follows the fall ! First sign of fall has been that the Baltimore Orioles are no longer at the feeder ! Sorry to seem them leave… Browns not playing today but find a team to watch … Himself is home for the weekend ! I am serving spaghetti at family dinner today…
moms… new caregiver has already resigned ! My brother and I thought she was perfect but apparently she found my mother very demanding and not all that nice ! We had warned her that my mom is a “challenge” but she decided that the job wasn’t for her……….can’t say that I blame her but finding someone to replace her is very difficult. We decided to have a pow wow last night ( my mom included )… with three of my siblings as well… Have been noticing that my mom seemed a bit more altered and has been getting out those bb tongs and helping herself to the wine in the garage… again.
Interestingly enough we learned that two other caregivers have been buying wine for her despite being told that my mom was being rationed !!
Honestly… I am finding very hard to continue to participate in her daily life..
She and I have had a couple of very heated arguments over past couple of weeks… she has said some very hurtful things…. would just like to step away… but I am kind of stuck.. We have decided to get a locked box for the wine and see what happens.
I am going to enjoy the day with himself and try and have an attitude adjustment !
Sheba… How is your vacation ?? Hope you are having lots of fun !

oh gaga i am so sorry her care continues to be such a struggle
does she understand that she is running out of options for care? i know she didn’t want to live in the facility, but if you can’t get caregivers, what are her options? i wish you could step back for a month or something and let your siblings handle things – just give you a break . . .

Congrats, Boper! Woo hoo! So happy about your design!
We came home from our vacation on Saturday eve. And we were so tired today! Why is that? We had such a relaxing week.
We were able to talk to our oldest son on Friday. Plus, have a short video chat with our lil’ grandson, almost 3 months old. It was the highlight of my day. ♥♥♥

Sheba.. How nice for you that you were able to have a relaxing week ! Can’t believe that your grandson is already three months old ! I bet he was smiling at his gramma !
Had a nice visit with himself yesterday… He is getting settled into his classes and new job responsibilities… All classes except one are in person… Hope they can keep it that way !
moms.. you’re right .. it sure was a quiet day around here yesterday.. Hopefully everyone was enjoying time with family and friends..
dee.. I am sure you are looking forward to your dh’s safe return today.
Making bb ribs today.. precooking them now… Will be quiet day… just my mom and I …Big airshow here in Cleveland today… can usually some some of the planes in my mom’s backyard… Supposed to be a beautiful day..
