moms.. the critter guy did a very thorough job … did not seem to think there were any significant problems… thought they may be rogue mice ? Accessed the attic area above my bedroom… saw no evidence of any mice and did put some poison up there… also accessed the storage area above the garage… did see some evidence that there were or are mice there… put some poison up there as well. Looked outside but did not see anything concerning there… He will come back next week to recheck attic/storage area … He did not feel I needed anymore traps ( LOL ) as I have so many hidden already ! I wouldn’t want theirs anyway as they are just the snap traps… and I could not deal with seeing anything !
How are you holding up with all that is going on with your house being for sale ? I know it must be draining… Are the boys excited ?
How is your mom doing with her upcoming move ?
I remember years ago when I need to sell our home… I buried a St. Joseph’s statue upside down in the yard and it sold in a couple of weeks…
dee… Hope you get your music issue worked out so you can enjoy your thumb drive ! Any upcoming fishing plans ? Wanted to share a fishing story about Michigan… Two of my siblings and I went out early one morning to fish. We were young kids then and were permitted to take the rowboat ( 5hp motor ) by ourselves… My brother caught a Northern Pike and when he reeled it in we were all hysterical because it had teeth ! We had never caught anything with teeth before… We put a boat cushion on top of it and headed back to the cottage… It weighed 3 pounds but to us it was a whale !

My feeder is not squirrel proof ( as it hangs in a tree ) but have found using the bear horn scares it away for at least a week..

We had stir fry last night as well, with tofu of course.
Have not even started the games on Next. Never gotten higher than 60 something on Cake It Up, so that one is not happening. And I completed the tile towers challenge, but have not looked at the deluxe, scout or employee one. Guess I should start watching for kinzsorter job.
gaga-do you all have actual mice out there? We have both mice and rats here, and we went through a few months long ordeal with rats. My dd used to hear them running up in her ceiling. It was a crazy time. We also had mice years ago at a different place we lived. Not fun to deal with. Glad the critter guy was thorough, gives you a little sense of relief.

cmpets… No rats … thank God !! I have some mouse issues which have been more than annoying… but hopefully they are gone.Very unusual they come in during the Summer..
I will never get Cake it Up either… Game is impossible but will keep playing the allotted six games per day.
dee Maybe random is a better word.. but I guess the point is I don’t have an infestation .. No sightings for past few days.
I have gotten better at Glideheart and have finished Dogbeard for the challenge.

Dee – do you realize the rug changes color when you rotate it? That’s why I’m trying to go through the collection more than once. I love the rug! And the bunk beds are cool….the chair is not the proper size for the desk, or vice versa, in my opinion. The wardrobe is nice…only one space and it holds 8 items.

dee… It kind of makes me feel better knowing that those critters snuck in somehow despite my fortress of traps ! I guess you could say that I am in denial.
Sheba.. I hope you are feeling better and can enjoy the weekend ! Have been trying to complete the Picnic Game on at least one account but that game is very difficult… Don’t get more than 3 or so kc per game ! Wonder if those are new prizes or repeats ?

Gaga – We have been having a pest problem, too. Not a rodent, but a pesky lil’ mosquito that has been in our bedroom/bathroom for 5 days and getting regular meals from us, too. FINALLY, my dh was able to put an end to it this morning! Grateful, as I am extremely sensitive to bug bites. Plus, I’m tired of putting bug spray on before bedtime. I meant to sleep elsewhere last night, but then I didn’t want to figure out an alternative.
Still working in our garage…..taking a van load of stuff to Goodwill today. And since our recyclables only go out every other week (our huge recycling container is full to the brim), we will take the extra stuff that won’t fit in our container to the recycling center. My dh thinks we are 75% done, but I view it as 25% done. Maybe he isn’t counting the shelves. And maybe I will let that go for now…..We have a two car garage that only one vehicle could fit into because of all the stuff.

gaga—Making some headway with my aunts estate. Got a new lawyer, zoom meeting with her on Wed. Glad to hear the pest control guy was able to help you. We had mice in our first house and it was awful. Dh put those old school snap traps around and we would randomly head the SNAP and I would just cringe. Dh of course would get all excited that he got one. He was waging war. We ultimately called a professional and he put those traps out that they go in and they don’t come out. I have been following B. Mayfield. Was so shocked they finally traded him. I hope he’s happy with the trade and gets to play. Read him and Darnold will be competing for the top spot. Pretty sure Baker wins that hands down. I didn’t know they will be facing each other on opening day, that will def. be interesting. The SS Badger is a car ferry those goes between Wiscon. and Mich. on Lake Michigan.
moms—Your moving?! I must have missed that. I hope everything goes well for you and it’s a quick sale. It’s the pits living with constantly having to have your home show ready. Are you moving far? Glad to read your mom is moving with you!
dee—I am with you (and probably a lot of peeps) I will never get 75+ in cake it up. Best I think I’ve ever done is 55. Not even going to bother with it anymore. Glideheart is no better either. Tile Towers and the Dice game are my jam. I don’t mind jumbleberry one, but I always get stuck on level 26.
cmpets—Rats?! That sounds so awful!
sheba—Oh my, that sounds miserable. Glad your dh was able to get the mosquito. Good luck with cleaning out the garage.

The garage will take forever. Most of it is my stuff. SADLY.
Including a lot of kid toys surprisingly. I got rid of most of their toys, but you would never know it.
I don’t do so well with Cake it Up. I think I got 77 once a long time ago on my granddaughter’s account (or maybe she did that). And according to my account my high score was 120! WHAT? I average in the 30’s or 40’s now. CRAZY.

April.. Happy that you have a new lawyer to help with your aunt’s estate..
I am sure you are glad that she will be able to conduct some of the business with a zoom meeting rather than having to travel the distance. I know Baker took a three million dollar pay cut but I am sure he is happy to get settled somewhere and be able to play ! Our loss is their gain..

Gaga – The Cake it up Score of 77 was in the past. Still have NOT achieved anywhere close to that for this season of NEXT. Sigh! I think that is one unachievable goal for me. It is more of a fluke if I get a high score.
Gwenda – So sorry about the covid! Hope you are feeling better soon! So many people report different types of symptoms.
We have unusually cool weather this evening for July! Sweater weather! I love it! But it will be back to hot tomorrow.
