DIY Divider Event
There is a new DIY event on Webkinz Classic on May 6 – May 13! During this event, look for a can of wall paint floating across you screen. Each time you click on it, you’ll be awarded one of three new cans of wall paint: Beach House Wall Paint, Cafe Wall Paint or Mega Modern Wall Paint (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full and 4 for Deluxe players).
If you combine a DIY Divider, DIY Design Ticket and any can of wall paint on the Clothing Machine, you’ll make a room divider that you can add to your pet’s room! DIY Dividers and DIY Design Tickets are always available in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop, but you’ll only be able to collect cans of Beach House, Cafe, and Mega Modern Wall Paint during this event!
Here’s a look at three room designs using the three new types of DIY dividers that you can make by collecting cans of wall paint during this event:

You can only use wall paint to paint a DIY Divider.
DIY Dyes and DIY Tie-Dyes won’t work.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PLACING ITEMS ON DIVIDERS: Drag a wall divider from your Dock, into your room to use it in a room design. You can even place items on top of DIY Wall Dividers. Drag an item from your Dock, onto a room divider to display it. Sometimes, it may look like an item is hanging half way off a wall divider. If this is the case, remove the item from the divider, rotate it, and place the item back on the divider, and it should be displayed properly.
There are eighteen different cans of wall paint that are currently available to buy at the WShop that you can use to paint DIY Dividers. But cans of Beach House, Cafe and Mega Modern Wall Paint will only be available during the DIY Divider event.

coronation, derby, & 2 nba semi-final games today
although i missed watching the coronation & might have to go back & see some missed parts – did anyone get up to watch? the watch party idea sounds fun in hindsight
plus who knows how many guests will end up here and/or sleeping over today – the more the merrier – whatever 🙂 i’m just glad they are all adults, so i don’t have to keep track

Farmers Day !
Graduation Day !! ( so many hearts )
Will be leaving soon ! Meeting up with my sister and my niece at their hotel and thankfully finding a place to park and a seat in the Shoe together… Just praying that the rain holds off.
moms .. had not heard about the incident in Texas either. Your heart is always in the right place moms… Don’t give it a second thought.
The Derby is always more fun to watch when people you know have a horse in the race ! It is also fun when an unexpected horse wins the race !

I have to take a huge amount of stuff into my classes tomorrow. I’d like to go through all of it and try to condense, if possible. Need to run to the store to buy more glue sticks (for hot glue guns). Taking in two or three sewing machines. Sigh! It will be fun, but I wish I could have the classes at my house. Game day for the Spanish classes – reviewing all the vocabulary for the year. These two classes are “littles” and I enjoy it because I have a mix of girls & boys. But only three more weeks and then I’m done with Spanish (as in retiring). The only classes I will teach next year are the doll/history classes.

Good Morning All !
Graduation was rainy and very long day… I was very disappointed in that they did not announce and present the undergraduates their diplomas they all worked so hard to get… There were 12600 graduates including the doctorate degrees and and masters degrees. It over one hour for the endless line of graduates march into the stadium and get seated. Too many long speeches .
Despite having a pair of binoculars and three sets of eyes we somehow missed himself getting his diploma from the tables set up in the middle of the stadium !
The sun finally came out… and we were able to meet up and get some pictures after the ” ceremony “.
All in all still so proud of himself …
dee.. spaghetti sounded so good ! I was starving by the time I arrived home.
moms… Happy you had some quiet time to catch up in WW !
Sheba… I may have said it before but will say it again… Your students are so fortunate to have you for their teacher… so much time and effort that you put in to make their classes fun and interactive !

found some petunias
got home and planted them and realized they were wave petunias!!
wave are the ones that droop versus sit upright
so now i need more………….thankfully dh has to go back when it is not raining for something big……………woo hoo

Good Morning !
Farmers Day !
Yesterday was a very low key day.. No energy .. Kind of an emotional letdown from the day before… sitting in the rain…long day… I should have realized that by 3 o clock and they had just finished announcing the Doctoral graduates that there would have been no way to recognize the 9000 and something other kids individually… but so disappointing just the same. Moving on ! We will be gathering as a family to celebrate himself and recognize his accomplishments in a couple of weeks. He opted to stay in Columbus to say good bye to his friends before they all head for the next step in their futures.
dee.. You are right… would have taken days to recognize each student and we would have still been sitting there ! ( LOL ) My niece headed back to Seattle yesterday but was great to see her and I know himself was appreciative that she come home ! Hope you are able to get more flowers !
First Baltimore Oriole finally arrived at the feeder !
moms… Hope you enjoyed dinner with your family ! I have heard that the Aquarium is amazing ! My Georgia brother called yesterday… and they finally able to buy a house up here ! Will maintain their home on St. Simons and spend summers up here.. I will be so happy to have him close !

Gaga – You would think that there would be some way to acknowledge each student. For example, divide the graduates up by schools (ie. nursing, mathematics, language, etc) and different time periods assigned for each section.
Dee, as I was looking up the differences between petunias & wave petunias, I won “Petunia’a Petunias” on the mobile wheel of wow! Interesting link on auroras….
Moms – your schedule sounds quite full! Hopefully, you are doing a better job of keeping up with Webkinz than I am. I totally forgot to log into Webkinz yesterday, so did not get the floaty dyes, nor do my part with the collection event.
As far as classes….most went smoothly. But I have had to contact one parent about behavior issues and decided to say nothing about another issue. Went to a talent show & art exhibit. Came home and went straight to bed. So even though I have a long “to do” list I am taking a mental break and doing some relaxing things.

sunny and 70s here today………….wish it was like that all summer long
i have everything planted except two coreopsis (tickweed) plants………..which i need a shovel for and i want them in the front of the house…..
meaning i want dh to do it! ha ha ha ha
but he is busy with more important stuff, so i will try tomorrow. very difficult to shovel wearing flip flops so ya know……….
fyi – the tickweed plants do repel ticks and they are pretty and they are perennials
