Cold and rainy day here today and expecting snow tomorrow… Just in time for
countdown to Christmas.
Waddell challenge is not too bad… Need to look up when the week of free Deluxe is.

The Holidays are not always Merry and Bright….Very hard to be jolly when you experienced such a recent loss.. particularly your mom who you were so very close to… Seems like Holidays will never be quite the same… It’s ok to feel down .. Remember all the great times like your Christmas baking.. I am sure she is right there with you ! ♥

They are pretty but the food items they dispense are so ordinary.. decided not to get them… Nail biting ending yesterday for the Browns… Hail Mary pass thrown by Fields almost caught in the end zone but he bobbled it and was caught by Browns !! GAME OVER !

moms… Waddell’s challenge has been pretty fun to accomplish… not as bad as I thought it was going to be…. Few inches of snow overnight… really cold..
Need to go out shortly and am dreading it… Will have to make one more trip to the stupid grocery store… was there on Saturday and ALL of the mushroom soup I needed for green bean casserole was expired ! Tracked down a stock boy and I was told they had just stocked the shelf the night before… BUT sure enough he pulled every single can off the shelf and found them expired… None in the ” back”… so will make one more trip before Christmas…

Good morning!
Just found out that my dd in Spain never got her birthday cards (I sent two) and her birthday was in November. Fortunately, I saved a copy of the letter that I sent in one of the cards, so I sent via e-mail today. The story is that one of her neighbors got one of the cards because he called us to tell us that he had her mail. I was reluctant to give her number to a stranger, but my dh did. Anyway, my dd & her neighbor connected, but their paths haven’t crossed so she still does not have that one card. No idea what happened to the other one.
I haven’t been on NEXT yet and will probably save it until after some shopping is done!

I was able to get the Fish Trophy before site went down.. The trophy is a really nice size !

The stupid store can wait… ( LOL ).. will probably be crowded no matter what day you are able to get there… I will probably try to get there tomorrow..
The parents of my cafeteria friend called last week and invited to take me to lunch on Friday… The kid from down the road is heading home tomorrow.. I will be a nervous wreck until I know he has arrived safely…

April… You are probably still baking up a storm.. It must be difficult to travel during the Holiday but so nice to be able to spend time with family as well.. Worth all your time and efforts !

dd is slightly better today, hoping the garlic oil in her ears helps, she said her cough is bad today. It was one thing after another yesterday for her, we all had a slight breakdown, but recovered. She has a 4 hour drive today after her telehealth chat. Booked her a IV therapy session down there which will hopefully help kick the rest of this out of her system. she is going to get those heat packs you can snap to activate for the plane in case her ears are still bad this weekend.
I was ready to book a flight or hop in the car and go to her lol
Everyone, STAY HEALTHY! We know a few people who have gotten this bug, and it lingers and relapses.
Need to log into my accounts, almost forgot yesterday with everything going on.

What are everyone’s plans for Christmas?
We decided to visit my parents. Mom told me that they had “NO PLANS”. We were going to take a small ham which would be enough for four, but then we found out the # was 5 and now the number is up to 8. SO….they will buy the ham! Funny….we were feeling sorry for them being all alone on Christmas, but it looks like they know how to make it more festive! I don’t regret the decision to go, though, even though it will make it more hectic since some our kiddo’s are coming in the day after we arrive home.
I am still trying to figure out a menu for when my kids are here. Low salt, vegetarian, sort of….well, fish is okay, meat-lovers, low sugar, dairy free combination.
Traditionally, when the kiddos were little I did Ham, sweet potato, green beans, rolls….a very simple, easy meal to fix. Sometimes, I’d do a pot roast. But now, I feel that I need to come up with a new idea. And you all know that I’m not especially fond of cooking. I see that I will have to adjust my preferences soon. ha ha!

I gave up floors a couple of years ago! I much to prefer to wrap at a table and to be honest, I prefer to be standing up. I have one of those adjustable tables to make it higher so that I can wrap while standing.
I haven’t started wrapping, so cmpets, you are ahead of me! Even though we aren’t celebrating until after Christmas I want it all done before we leave on Saturday to visit my parents.
