I had a nice weekend Naki, thanks.
went to visit my parents on Saturday, then visit with my grandparents. spent the night at my inlaw’s house and today we stay with them. The kids got to see all of their grandma’s. We took flowers and cards to them.

We gave my mom a Schnauzer but the best part was she cried 😥 when she read the card that I picked out 😀

We got home not to long ago and the kids gave me lots of hugs and kisses along with a beautiful necklace that read “MOM” in the middle of a heart.

Well the other night when you gave away all those pet codes I fell asleep early, I was dissapointed because I come here every night and the one night I don’t come you give away 9 codes. Are you going to more giveaways like that because I was devastaed that morning 😥 Im over it now and I dont want to sound greedy do you understand where I’m coming from?

My mom has an old dried up playdough heart on a piece of yarn that my brother gave her when he was little. I now understand why she has kept it 30 yrs. Those things are truly priceless!

that was a ramdon thing I did and I was having fun making up the questions as I was typing them……..nothing was planned other than I knew how many codes I had (9) and I knew I needed to go to bed by 1am. Again, don’t worry about it, you know I’m always giving something away.

Yes I ad a great Mother’s Day my oldest wrapped her gift herself it was soo cute. My lil one made a card. We went to dinner which was fun. My gift is being sent to me plus I am gettin a new car so I really can not complain mine seems to be on its last legs. I did get some really pretty flowers

That’s great. I love to see their gift wrapping. I even like to see my husband’s. He doesn’t wrap things very often himself. I don’t think he knows what it means to me to see a gift that he worked so hard on to wrap. It doesn’t come easily for him. 🙂

Malaika, you will love the keurig coffe maker, we do! that was our christmas present from Alan’s parents along with plenty coffee supply.
I am also the wrapper in this family. My little one likes to help but she always ends up with tape on her hair or with a whole lot of paper for just a tiny gift.

same here kitkat. Went to Jonhston County yesterday and on the way home today we got some strong winds/rains in Raleigh.
Went to Greenville on Sat night to visit aunt in hospital and I couldn’t believe the weather…….it was cold!!!

Hi guys. K is in the same preschool class as S was six years ago and K gave me the same gift S did a picture with a vase made from the child’s foot print and then they drew flowers coming out of the toes. It was neat for K because I could show her S’s still up on the wall. I’ll put K there right next to it. S got J to take her to the store to buy a vase to replace one that was on the kitchen window sill that got broken a few weeks ago. Next time we have a chance to all go out shopping I am getting new couch covers. 🙂
So we got rained on at Greenfield Village. It rained the entire time we were there. We had fun anyway. K didn’t seem to care in the least it was raining. She was so happy to go on the train. I was fine when we were there but started to feel ill on the way home. A three hour nap fixed the worst of the damage.
I have tried about 8 times to call my Mom today and the line has been busy every time I have called. Boy I am I going to hear about it when I get a hold of her tomorrow. 🙂
Guys do me a favor next time you give away the ending to a TV show please put up a spoiler alert. We are several episodes behind on Survivor and you just ruined the ending for me. In this day of recorders and DVR’s it is not a good idea to post stuff like that.

tmt, I’m sure you guys had a long day and had to be exhausting. I know, that’s so cute about the kids gifts. Same here, Andrew gave me a hot plate holder with his hand print in shape of a train. I got the same thing from Hailey last year, handprint but in shape of turtle. I think I now have about 6 of them……all from playschool.
Did you tried calling early today? I called very early and only got answer machine so I left message for my sister. I saw my folks/grandparents yesterday so the wishes were said then.
I’m sorry I didn’t see the comment about the ending of a show……..I have edited 🙁 a little late.

No big deal I was just trying to prevent it from happening again. I am not upset just a little disappointed. Gymbo we left for the village as soon as everyone was ready to go and I started calling as soon as I unpacked the car and then when I woke up from the long nap. I couldn’t of called until they were done with lunch. At the place were she is no one will answer the phone in the morning or around meal times. I tried to call last night but I couldn’t find the phone number and had to call my Dad to get the number again. He goes to bed really early. Night Gymbo.

that reminds me……we were eating lunch with my inlaw’s today and the phone rang………I said “let it ring” but she answered 🙂 It was her daughter calling her to wish her happy mother’s day.
