Hi Krafty! Are you still around? I’m up late tonight. I’m worried. Just found a STRANGE charge on my checking account that I didn’t approve for like $89. I’m worried now. And of course it’s too late..or rather too early to call the bank. I’m just freaking out and can’t sleep!

Good morning all! KinzGram, sorry I left last night but I was starting to get tried and my hubby wanted some company. Aaaawwwhhh. Since I teach at a Lutheran elemetary school and did not go to a Lutheran college for my degree, I need to take a certain amount of theology classes, so I’m taking those to get my masters degree. Pretty fun actually but since they are all online, it’s a lot of hard work too.

It was an fun and difficult four days. My wife stayed in VA with her mom (just out of hospital) while JR and I went to see my mom & dad in PA (my dad is just out of hospital). I made sure JR had fun, and it was great to see family, but it was not a typical or joyful long weekend vacation.
JR and I did sneak in a great water balloon fight.
I hope to catch up with friends here soon. Much to catch up on at work.
P.S. Doug is annoying when he takes gems and gives kc.

It is such a coincidence because I just made a balloon fight for the girls last week- my fingers were sooo sore from tying the balloons ( I gave each of them a bucket full)….then it lasted for all of like 7 minutes- LOL

JR’s Dad- Hello! Glad to hear that even though it was a hard weekend, you were able to enjoy some fun with Jr. During my dad’s illness, it was good to find those moments of happiness and just let loose.
As for Krafty being the munchkin of oz, I have to disagree as I AM or should I say I WAS the Mayor of Munchkin City in our HSchool play of the Wizard of Oz. I still remember my lines and have my golden key to the city that I gave to Dorothy. Of course, my 5 foot 1 inch stature leads others to believe that I am still a munchkin.

donder – thanks for your comment. we tried to cheer up jr’s grandpa, but he mostly wanted rest. jr and I made the best of our trip. my sister gave him an Artic Fox and he screamed.
We will send a gift tonight of Charm Forest-Good Fairy T-Shirt, Star Challenge- Meteor Cookie (which cookie?), and Zumwhere food (that we have). These will be gifts. We will check to see how many Dancing Zingoz &

Dad- No offense was taken. I’ve always known I was a munchkin ever since I was little. When I was 5 the doctor said shortness was in my genes. I thought he meant JEANS, so I refused to wear jeans for over a year in hopes that I would grow!

Krafty – Yeah on the gem “W” search. Congrats! We found three in a row that way, then zilch the next day and went looking for booger nuggets. who knew doug would want so many booger nuggets.
Has anyone figured out why doug gives KC sometimes? I think he gives it out as a punishment the day after you don’t have the right gems.

Oh I know! I haven’t been able to get the gem flooring yet because I’m still short 1 gem or the other! HOWEVER, since I stopped trading with Doug and just go gem hunting I’m finding a TON of rare gems so I’m ready for the last stages of trading. I usually tell my students you can’t graduate 2nd grade until you’re taller than the teacher. That didn’t work this year however because I taught my niece and she’s only 3’9″. We’re a short family all the way around!

Thank you! Yes, we were married 7 years ago on the 4th of July. We had a great small wedding with a cake reception at the church in the early afternoon and then invited everyone down to our place to have a BBQ and shoot off fireworks. Our small town brought the firetruck to park on our street just in case. We shot off fireworks for over 2 hours! It was great!

nanaam – my dad pinched a nerve, but it turned out to be quite an ordeal with a reaction to medication and infection… long story short, he is in pain, but mostly better. he is using a walker and off of the nasty pain meds. He was in the hospital three times and last time for almost four weeks. i know that you know, no matter how bad, it’s better to be at home.

Dad, you’re right, I sit on the recliner at home, turn tv on and get my laptop……..then all of a sudden I hear a little voice “mom, can I have a snack” or “mom come wipe me” then on the way back to the reclyner I pick up a toy put it where it goes or check on laundry lol

nanaam – i can not get jr to spend on tading cards. he saves for the next webkinz. He would spend 1/3 of a webkinz where we live to get a pack of TC, as all TC are $3.50 a pack. He is still working to get the TC2 wallpaper and items after he traded for most of the TC1 room theme. We are seriously behind on TC.

Pan-Fried Cornmeal-Crusted Pickerel
Recipe Information

Prep Time:: Less than 15 minutes
Cook Time: Less than 15 minutes
Cooking Method: Fried
Meal Type: Entree
Main Fish: Pickerel
Ingredients
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 cup cornmeal
2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 lb. skinned pickerel fillets
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup canola oil
Directions
Place flour in shallow bowl. In separate shallow bowl, whisk milk with eggs. Place cornmeal, dill, salt and pepper in another shallow bowl. Dip fish, one piece at a time, into flour, shaking off excess, then into milk mixture, then into cornmeal mixture. In skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat; cook fillets, turning once, for about 5 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested with fork. Serve with lemon sauce.
Lemon Sauce
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp grated lemon, rind
2 tbsp lemons, juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
In small saucepan, bring cream, lemon rind and juice and Worcestershire sauce to simmer over medium heat; cook, stirring occasionally, for about 7 minutes or until reduced to half and thickened enough to coat back of spoon. Yield: 1/3 cup (75 mL)

I can only eat fish that doesn’t taste or look like fish, Mrs. Paul’s, Gortons.. Arthur Treachers
ate fish at a Chinese restaurant once with vendors from Hongkong (I worked for an importing company at the time) and I did eat some of the fish (hidden in rice) and when the main part of the fish is gone… it is a tradition of respect to offer the brains and eyes of the fish to the oldest lady present, I was the only lady there… (manners taught me, eat what you are served – stomach says no freaking way are those brains or eye balls passing my lips!!!) I refused politely saying I was already over full from the meal.. fortunately they believed me …. whew!

Gymb- I LOVE Spanish food. I grew up eating meat and potatoes, but now it is all gallo pinto for me. I love tortillas, enchilladas, but jr prefers tacos.

my oldest was born with hair the same color as I had when she was born (I had tried to go blond but my hair never went that light , more towards light auburn, pretty but not blond) and promptly her hair turned blond… blue eyes that have changed to green when she turned 5..

He is a good dad so far but is a pilot so he rarely sees his sons(one from wife’s old boy friend who made her pregnant before my cousin got her pregnant) and so far as far as I know everything is working out for them!!(sorry if confusing)

I’m not going to ask how old you are, but an easy recipe that I liked as a youngster was Easy Pizza
1 slice of bread
top with pizza or spagetti sauce
top with pepperoni or already cooked hamburger
add cheese
bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is all melted.
Very fast and easy and tastes good too!

I’ve done the ground turkey tacos before……the kids like them. same as regular beef tacos……sometimes they don’t even care for the shell but they ask for lettuce……….like letuce wraps.
prepare the meat with sauce and seasoning. once cooked add in middle of big lettuce leave and roll…..the kids love them. eat with carrots on the side.

on sunday june 21st 3 teenagers in my city had died in a drunk drving accident, 2 of them were my friends, and as i type this i find it hard, i cant stop crying now, i miss them so much….. 🙁
Drunk driving is a crime and this man took 3 lives! 3 teenage lives. It was murder but he is only being charged with criminal negligence causing death, while he is not getting what deserves. 🙁 😥

Patsie, thanks, it is the kind that comes on when starting puberty and is supposed to go away, mine never went away, so far my kids do not have it, but that is why we don’t have video games either, that can egg it on and we don’t need more trouble now

jd- I’d give them a call first thing in the morning. I called around the big city near here and they are all pre-sold out. I’m going to try the other town near here to the south. Sometimes we have to do what we think is right for our parents. When my dad was really sick, he didnt’ always want to do what needed to be done, but would finally agree to do what we ask. Then later he was glad he listened. Don’t feel bad Coco if your mom is a little upset about going to the hospital, she’ll thank you later. Keep your chin up and take care of yourself too during this time.

OH A BABY BOY!!! I love baby boy clothes. They are so cute with their little vests and ties. Little girl clothes are cute too, but they don’t always look like miniture grown ups in their baby clothes. I want to have a baby boy someday!
