    Hello everyone

    My brother’s kitty had to be put down today. She was getting old (i think she was 14) and for the past few days she hasn’t been eating or drinking and yesterday she could barely move. My mom took her to the vet after she dropped me off for school and they put her down around 10.
    So thats kind of depressing.

    I was a water girl at an ice cream “parlor”. Meaning dorkarific costume with bloomers and all….I did good serving water so they moved me up to waitress. Spilt a whole tray of milkshakes on a bunch of people. They still kept me tho for some reason…..ha ha ha ha…..It was my high school biology teacher who helped me get the job. He knew someone who knew the owner.
    Just learn, listen and do your best and you will get a wonderful reference when you are ready to move on!

    Morning Moms !! I know what you mean about the Cosmic Bear promo. You just never know what OTHER promo is lurking around the corner. I would have renewed my account that actually expires today and rec’d the bear rather than the bunny for having renewed early in April. But because the Cosmic Bear is the re-coloured purple twin to the Mystic Moon Bear, which I missed out on due to it’s expensive price tag (and have been kicking myself about it everytime I go to the AP, Park or Clubhouse and see one), I can’t let this little guy slip through my fingers.     Anyone who is thinking of buying the Drive In Movie Screen from the eStore may want to hold off for a few days. It is glitched. Supposed to be able to go in outdoor yards and treetop rooms but mine won’t go in either. Guess I’ll have to bring this to the attention of the eStore as well when I call about my membership gift not being in my dock.

    Also, the Drive In Snack Bar does not light up and blink as is shown in the eStore description. I got my Fizzy Soda for the day but that’s it. Also will mention this to the eStore.

    I am on hold with the eStore as I type this. They are in my account playing with the two new items. Will keep you posted.

    Just got off the phone with Ganz. Okaaaay …. Drive In Snack Bar is glitched. Info passed along to the techs. Could be a week before it’s fixed.

    Drive In Move Screen also glitched. We’re not sure if it is supposed to go along a wall without a door (like fences) or stand alone in the yard/treetop room, but either way, it’s not going anywhere right now. Could also be a week before it’s fixed.

    Shows you what reps know about room designing. After thinking about whether or not the screen would work like a fence, I suggested to the rep that she try it and directed her to a room where there was an outdoor yard with no doors along the top and right-hand side. She proceeded to tear apart my room but WASN’T LISTENING despite my explaining to her about putting the screen along the edge of the yard like a fence. I asked her TWICE if she was putting it along the edge of the yard like a fence and she just kept saying, “I’ve got to put you on hold again.” After being put on hold three times, the rep declared that there was indeed a glitch with the screen.

    So now that I’m off the phone and I went to my room to put it back together again, I said, “Ah, what the heck, let ME try it just for kicks and giggles.” And sure enough it works. Stoopid stoopid stoopid reps …..

    So it’s just the Drive In Snack Bar that needs some touching up so that the marquee blinks as it should.

    I called the eStore back just now to let them know this, and there is a line-up for your call to be answered in priority sequence. Couldn’t listen to those darned POTM video tunes a minute longer and hung up. Let them figure it out.

    SO EVERYBODY BE AWARE ~~ the Drive In Movie Screen takes up 1 x 8 WALLSPACE, not FOOTPRINTS and goes along the edge of a yard or treetop room like a fence.

    Thanks for the intel, Mystic (and HI) I debated on the snack thingy.. it doesn’t scream to me (as so MANY things webbie related do) I want to get seasonal things and the deluxe POTM items that I like though I think I will be skipping most if not all of the airport theme, it does nothing for me and wish the winged tiger PSI was not that outfit. I hope the winged pup will have a better PSI but I will get her regardless πŸ˜‰

    Don’t forget to do a last round of Persephone’s Peeks today. I hope to get a few sets done, very nice items. The purple chairs will go with a lot of other items.

    So far, I believe Patsie needed the webkinz day items and Arasia, anyone else? I can’t necessarily help all who might need but we can do some for sure. I had hoped they would have a dress like last year but no, sake for Earth day, I love both of those dresses.

    Has anyone heard anything about the Rockinz monkey that is in the promos now? I asked WW but got no answer, seems standard for them a lot, sadly

    went to the mall and got mothers day cards…hallmark had a really pretty stormy dragon…did not buy, but touched it

    dillars had their webbies half off, pit bulls, yetis, some kind of pink and peach dog…

    just bought cards and a bar of money soap for dd. It is a bar of some with money in it. real money….we had eyed them before and today they were on 75 percent off rack at hallmark

    does anyone know…when you renew a deluxe acct, at some point in the process do you get to make changes in the satellite accts? or should I cancel my deluxe, then start fresh?

    gramma – i didn’t ‘auto’ renew, so not sure about it – guess it doesn’t change anything, but i manually renewed, and you get to repick all the satellite accounts

    you don’t have to cancel though, you can just turn off auto renew and renew it on your own

    thanks, moms. I already turned off auto renew on this acct. Planned to manually renew, just didn’t want to get caught off guard about the satellites. I had two deluxe accts w/ satellites last year; dropping down to one w/sats this year. Thanks again for the info! πŸ™‚

    the order went through and got email confirmation. Since the confirmation has a renewal date a year from what would have been the current renewal date, I’m assuming it’s all good. πŸ™‚ off to check the satellites
