My mom said that august would be a good time to apply because all the college kids would be leaving and some jobs would probably open up, but i wasn’t sure if i should reapply that soon. I need to get a job before school starts because i’m hopefully going to be driving to school this year so i need to have money to put gas in my car. So maybe if i apply in the beginning of august i could get one before school.

yep, i would start collecting them, then try to give them directly to a manager
make sure you look decent, make eye contact, try to get the person’s name, then follow up with them like a week or two later – they’ll know you are serious

I went out looking for shelled pistachios tonight, and of course lots more heavy cream lol do you know how much 5oz of shelled pistachios cast me??? 5.99!!! I was shell shocked literally! pun intended. But alas I paid the price casue I am too lazy to shell them, and my guy insists the next flavor be that! lol cheaper to buy it then to make it apparently.
but I am loving the freshness of homemade without preservatives or food colorings.

I was looking at all the christmas stuff, realized I have a lot of it but I only have the clothing and classic xmas tree from 2008! Wow, lots of posts since I left yesterday! I took my dad to the Red Sox game. Unfortunately we lost and were sitting behind a group of really rude Canadian Blue Jays fans, but other than that it was great. My dad has always wanted to go see a game at Fenway, so it was really great to be able to do that for him.

surprisingly like the So Delicious brand of Coconut Ice Cream.
Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream
3 c unsweetened coconut milk (not lite, Thai’s recommended) 1 3/4 c in 14 oz can
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
6 TBSP agave syrup
1 TS vanilla
Whisk cocoa powder in small amount of coconut milk then add rest of ingredients. Then put in ice cream maker and follow their directions.

i use a blender to get out all the lumps and chill it overnight before using the ice cream maker for 20 minutes. here are the amounts I adapted to use the entire 2 cans of coconut milk:
3.5 c unsweetened coconut milk (2 14 oz cans)

Hey Patsie,
I don’t know if you saw my earlier post. I had been able to see your room a few hours ago but you weren’t around. I should be able to in maybe 45 minutes to an hour and a half? I will try my best to be able to. I will be on duty, which means if I’m asked to do something or help kids with homework I have to do that first, but there shouldn’t be many kids around between like 6-7 EST so I will try my best to tour your house then if you are on. I feel bad that it’s taking so long. I will say this though. Worst case scenario if our schedules keep not lining up is that I will be home in like 3 weeks and have absolutely nothing to do until school starts and would be able to tour your home then for sure. But I will try to do it tonight if I can.

My mom is in the process of fixing one of the walls in my brother’s old room because it has water damage and then once my brother gets the rest of the junk out of there shes going to paint it so that i can have her room and then shes going to turn my current room into an office. But now she keeps saying that she wants to turn my brother’s old room into an office and we can just paint my room. NO. If she wants that room for her office, then i should be able to get her nice big bedroom.

Patsie, great idea, empty room.. also just a harvest all plants, water all, instead of one at a time.. one yard takes a long time to weed, water, harvest, I skip watering as long as I am weeding every two – three days

everyone rooms are nice..I’m a little under the weather today so just chillin with the kitty..
earlier my bird decided to fly into the wall and knock herself out, not sure why, but thought I was going to lose her. but seems shes ok so far, time to get the wings clipped I guess. she gave me a bad scare. she is safe in the cage for now, and I keep checking on her. I didn’t find anything broken and she is eating again so I figure shes ok. it shook me up pretty good, I hate to see my babies get injured. makes me cry. Oh the joys of being a pet owner! lol
anyway just popped in to say hello.

There is a storage chest for wallpapers, in the wshop I believe. I don’t bother as unless you make a list of what you put there it is a waste, lol
The host gifts usually come right away, but sometimes takes a few minutes. Last time I sent letters to the hosts it took a few minutes but less than half an hour.

hello I am back after that much needed bath in which I um..fell asleep..hehehe
Of course I only got to take a bath AFTER the cat got his! I turned my back as the water was running and herd SPLASH! LOL Kitty really wanted a bath and he stayed in till the water ran out, he also seems to be fascinated with running water, something new I did not know about him.
the bird has a slight injusry to her right eye I saw a little tiny bit of bloodnear the edge, so I will have to keep and eye on it and possibly take her to the vet in the morning..sigh..a woman’s work is just never done..
