Good luck with that, Dee. My experience with the “teen” is that they don’t always make that good choice or take the best option, lol
FFQ has to earn the money to replace her cell phone. My bf said he would pay her minimum wage (good deal) to do certain chores… she mowed once for an hour. She is supposed to help get the old pop cans and plastic bottles off the back porch and pick up cans near a storage shed… ok dirty and mega bugs, giant spiders possible so I said.. that I will help.. as in help her earn her money for her phone.. guess what she has NOT done as yet? phone jumped to its death the first week of school.. yet still complains that she doesn’t have a phone… oy! lol

Complaining about the chores not getting done will not make it happen any faster, sadly. I am more focused on the more urgent needs getting done, homework, kitty chores, food, laundry… her getting her phone back would be great for me too but, it is an inconvenience to me… she is still jonesing for it, lol her major loss
I offered to help her earn the money to get it back… so far that isn’t good enough for her… it won’t happen any faster because she thinks it should just be replaced. Soooo she fusses and waits and still no phone, hahaha

i used to buy a lot of vintage stuff on ebay and was sad when it went missing. later on i just asked all the sellers for a tracking number (which protected both of us) and i don’t recall losing stuff after that, knock on wood.

my honey loves cheese
i guess so do i except i’m mildly lactose intolerant so i can’t go to town with most cheeses except ricotta & mozzarella type cheeses. doesn’t keep me from tasting most, tho.
my recent favorite is istara cheese from the Basque region. found it when we were in Carmel and turns out the cheese stop a block away from home carries it.

What a pain. Fingers & toes crossed that they find it, momsk. I’m lucky USPS is decent at home.
There’s another carrier, OnTrac, that amazon uses a lot for their small packages. Shipment registers as delivered 2 days before the item shows up. Had to call them each time to track down the driver. I rarely order from amazon since (esp now that amazon charges sales tax for CA.

I haven’t loaded any music on my phone yet or tablet.. I was working on setting up MusicHub which is a Samsung thing, centered around the Galaxy SIII
My new tablet that I won will work great with my phone since they are both Samsung but I will have to rough it till the tablet gets here in 8-10 weeks, such a long wait BUT still very cool to win it and it will get here eventually lol

I just completed the Candy Collection Challenge and the grand prize is a tree that you can design by dragging to your outside room. The tree has top middle and bottom thirds, of which you can choose one of three different designs.
Once you are finished, you are forced to save your haunted tree or cancel to have the potential haunted tree returned to your inventory dock.
