Examples:
Back in high school on April Fools Day, some kids in my class got together early and flipped every furniture and object in our teacher’s classroom upsidedown or backwards. It was really great because he left it like that all day, but made us change it back after school π
Last April Fools Day, I had to get x-rays on my foot. The podiatrist came back with the x-rays and told me it was broken in five spots (which I honestly believed because I was in a lot of pain) and I wouldn’t be able to run for 3 months. When I was nearly in tears he told me it was actually just a strain and it would be fine.

I’m not a good prankster. I don’t think I ever pulled off a good one. The only example I can think of is when I was a young kid I tried to April Fool’s my mom by telling her I didn’t feel well. She took my temp and it was actually pretty high. I April Fool’s myself I guess, because the next day I was real sick lol
I am very gullible so I’m easy to prank. I really thought Webkinz was going to release a Cat-thulu and was very excited till I seen someone comment it was a joke. I WANT ONE SO BAD!!!! Also I have a theory that well are all falling for April the pregnant giraffe. She was going to go into labor over night and now there is no live feed. I’m tellin ya that chick is just fat!

My kids LOVE to prank my husband so we did this one last year.. My husband likes to have a can of coke when getting home from work. Last year the kids offered to get him one from the fridge. He heard my DD crack one open for him and then when she handed it to him, he took a long gulp and spewed it all over the carpet. She had indeed cracked open a new one but grabbed another one from the fridge that she had dumped out and replaced with water and 3/4 cup lemon juice. I’m excited to see what is in store for today.

Ive become ultra skeptical on april fools day, plus i kinda have a non celebratory family so not much goes on. When i was young and my dad wasn’t a tense and often angry person, he used to just do a bunch of “made you look” things. My mom also likes to tell the story of the time she switched the sugar with the salt when she was little and her brother put a ton on his cereal and almost gagged on it. We also have a family friend whos birthday is today. Wonder how that plays out… lol.

Remember when Rainbow Loom was all the rage? When DD was in elementary school, we would spend hours every day making Rainbow Loom crafts from online tutorials. It wasn’t just bracelets anymore … we made animals, cartoon characters, food, flowers and more. April 1 was a school day that year: I packed Rainbow Loom “food” for DD’s snack and lunch. Snack was “fruit salad” = Rainbow Loom miniatures of pineapple, oranges, apples, grapes, watermelon slices, and strawberries. Lunch was Rainbow Loom “pizza, cupcake, chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of juice”. I did hide real food in her backpack in case she got hungry lol. π

I downloaded a high resolution image of a cracked screen on my granddaughter’s computer and sent the image as a screensaver.
She acted surprised and yelled when she saw it, but she probably knew because today is April Fool’s Day.
So hard to fool these teenagers.

April Fools Joke played on a friends daughter today:
A friend of ours told their daughter that there was brownies in the oven for her & when she went to get them out she found a whole bunch of “Brown Bristol board cut into the shape of letter E’s” ! π
We were pretty lame when we where kids would say silly things like “Hey You dropped your Pocket” !
The Funny thing is that people would actually look down! :lol;

One prank I pulled on my husband when we were first dating: Every once in a while when we would stop at a Convenience Store, we would buy Lottery Scratch-Off Tickets. One April Fools Day, I bought 3 and placed a fake ticket in with the bunch so that we would each have 2 tickets to scratch. Well…needless to say, DH won $10,000 that night! He was so excited! But, he had the nerve to ask me if he had to split it with me! (We weren't married yet.) "Absolutely," I said. "I bought the ticket!" Imagine how upset he was when he realized the ticket was valid "Only in your dreams" and only redeemable "At yo' Mama's house"!
Then, because those fake tickets come in packs of two, we got his Dad with one too. His family has a tradition of sitting around the table on Christmas Eve, scratching tickets. Everyone who wants to participate brings 10 tickets to throw in the basket. Then, everyone takes turns drawing from the basket. DH's Dad pulled the fake ticket. He leaned over, kissed his wife, and said "Pack up honey! We're leaving for Florida!" He was not a happy camper when he read the back of the ticket! Thank goodness Grandma didn't get it!!!

I found this metal chair at a flea market for five bucks and with a dollar can of spray paint it will now sit where the mum was with some lovely something in a pot………..

Gah! Pregnant for 15 months?!? Holy cow. I guess that’s better than an elephant though. I definitely don’t think I would’ve had more than one if that were the case for humans LOL.
