Our Lurker has been wearing many hats lately, so along with her skills as SantaLurker, she once again wowed us as the SpoilerLurker. Here’s what is new in Webkinz World from TheSpoilerLurker:

anyways, I know I always talk about food, but has anyone had a banh mi sandwich? I saw it in a magazine and then on a food show, so I am bound and determined to make them! I need to find a daikon radish which is not an easy task in my Podunk town……….so I am gonna google a pic and try a couple local “Asian” markets…………that is in quotes as some of the folks they service do not live in what is currently considered asai! ha ha ha
dh got a bug in his heinie today and made grilled corn salsa! oh my goodness…….stinking good and now he is baking vegan breadsticks….

zingy – no, I didn’t know Merthyn. I knew of her, and in fact used to check her server at Adultkinz for spoilers obsessively. 😆 I wonder what ever happened to that place? I never did join, because membership was such a pain in the hindquarters to get, and I prefer to lurk in the shadows anyway.
I managed to get the bronze Polar Plunge trophy but crashed and burned on the medium level about 2/3 of the way through. This version is easier than the old version (for which I had to trade for the trophy!), but it’s still not simple for me. Give me a word game any day. Heck, I got the Eager Beaver trophy the first time I played the game.
And we all know about me and Hatch the Dragon, lol.

Hermione figured out and got trophies for all the new dispenser recipes and I’m reposting her comment on Facebook here including the secret of her success in case it’s useful in the future:
“Someone must have beaten me to the Coconut Cream Pie because that was the only one I didn’t get a trophy for. i’m glad they got degrees from good places, dee, but what i meant was, there are some conditions that not every M.D. sees even if it’s their specialty. my honey’s workout partner for instance has a rare immune condition and she was seen at Stanford but she flew out to Mayo Clinic to see the person who specialized in it as her case to verify the diagnosis (she had some but not all the symptoms and only someone who see oodles of the same can make that call). only after seeing the specialist at the Mayo clinic did she get the right medication after she has been suffering for stomach pains for more than 6 months. it might be worthwhile exploring this only in that it sounds like a very longterm situation for your dd.

congrats on the silver polar plunge trophy- will try for that tonight.
reposting boper’s tips for polar plunge posted on facebook for the gold level:
go medium to high speed, be careful around ~4500 pts when there are 4 consecutive obstacles. When going down the really tall slopes, stay really close to the edge of the slope (don’t jump outwards). Don’t be afraid to hit the red-hatted snowman, you can take the hit if you’re going full speed. If you think you’re going to hit an obstacle, it’s better to hit it at full speed rather than slow down because you might live (unless it’s a tree, in which case you certainly will lose). I think the game is easier on the web version (updated today) but it is glitched and will not reward the trophy for completing the hard level (you’ll get logged out). Good luck!

Patsie, there are two dresses coming out that look very similar, probably because the designers got lazy and just added some details and partially recolored one. 😆 One is what we presume to be the Beauty and the Beast dress, and the other is the Wacky dress.

Received the Helping Paws Club Bouquet from a medium box and it is gone. Missed the comments about that happening before.
Thank you for sending the clothes yesterday Santa Lurker. Missed the shoe section before, Candy reminded me with what she asked for. :). May I please have the Black Socks, Tap Dancing Shoes and Dancing Shoes.
They were only able to fix one class OD needed, but it was the one she needed the most. There is still one to switch for the fall and one for the spring but the classes we know about that she should take appear to be already full so the advisor will help her figure out what to do when she gets there. She should be able to apply to the College of Engineering after fall term, the class they moved to the fall for her was the last one she needed to be eligible to apply. So if all goes well no having to switch majors around. We are hoping one of the classes for her minor will have an opening.
Going to be stuck with only my phone for online the next few days unless I can get someone in the family to let me use their lap top briefly. Three more days of robotics. Don’t think I mentioned but the rookie team won the off season competition they went to last week.

I did have a question and wondered if you can answer… I adopted a Rockers pet into the Paws account and am working on the rockers challenge… directs you to go to W shop and buy mixing board… Supposed to lock under ROCK star section but there isn’t one !!!! Was is discontinued ?? Do you have to have deluxe on that account in order to access Rock Star section ??? Any advice would be appreciated..

Regarding helping paws.. the last time this happened, they were able to fix it quickly and said that everyone’s items had been returned to their docks. I unfortunately opened mine before going to bed last night but only received a kinz coin.. so no big loss. Congrats to ALL that received items this week. So news in my part of the world is full of fire. My Province is burning every where. My family all live exactly where the worst fires are. My dad is on notice to evacuate but they haven’t had to leave yet. The worst of the fires started by lightning strikes. We are all praying for rain but not storms. So many small communities wiped out completely. However, the people are all helping each other and sharing resources which is always a blessing. We have some fires here on the island too. One was so close to my house in a rent controlled pet friendly apartment complex. So many displaced people and our city has a negative occupancy rate and when they do put up buildings they are so over priced only foreign investors can afford them. Sorry for the rant.
I am hoping everyone can find their happiness today. I know I will be holding on to mine tightly.

yes, they fixed it last time and hopefully they’ll fix it again at some point this time. what you guys prolly never see is all the pleading, begging and cajoling we do on facebook to get it fixed last time and this time. but alas, sally is currently MIA (she hasn’t responded to anything on her FB wall for the past few days) and betty butter ganz is inundated with requests for things other than helping paws. steve ganz just plain flat out said to contact customer service by email (he’s not interested in looking into it). so we’ll just have to wait for whenever betty gets around to our helping paws request in her queue.
gaga, i just remembered that for some challenges (not specifically yours), if you contact customer service by email webkinzsupport@ganz.com and you explain that the rockerz challenge step cannot be completed because the theme is no longer in the WShop, they can check off the box for you so you can proceed to the next step. that might be the fastest way for you at this time.

Hello peoples of my favorite pass time.
Thank you for all your prayers and kind thoughts. The fires by my dad’s house we almost under control so the firefighters tried a controlled burn to prevent the fires from spreading and guess what happened. It is so dry in the interior that nothing is safe right now.
The fires here on the island are out for now. The one in the apartment may have been started by a cigarette and the one on the highway may have been started by a motorhome with a faulty piece of steel dragging on the road and creating sparks.
Dee sending healing thoughts to your daughter, she sounds amazing.

Going to need to enter the contest for the peacock skirt too. Wasn’t able to get access to the computer then. Tmt5 It has been an interesting trip so far, caught in a bad rain storm so it took an extre 45 minutes. Then got stuck in traffic due to flooding trying to get to dinner. After dinner we got a flat tire when hubby clipped a curb due to the windshield fogging from the humidity. Fortunately found a car dealership 15 minutes from the robotics meet and was able to make an appointment to get it replaced. We might not even be late getting to the zoo.

Your battery issue sounds worse Amber Rose. I have the opposite problem freezing from the air being too high in the car dealership. Been here waiting for 3 hours still have about 45 minutes. Going to be too tired for the zoo once the car is ready.

Kinzgram, I just sold a whole bunch of clothing, but I made sure to keep at least two of each piece that was left. Why did I do this? Because you didn’t have time last night to make your requests under the special clothing rules yesterday, and I wanted to give you a fair shake. Let me know if there’s anything else you are needing, and it will go out today. I think I’ve already got several of your accounts on my phone, so it should be easy.
shorty – to answer your question, somebody taking all the best things would go like this: for list #7, they took both chocolate area rugs, and then on list #8, they took the spooky cobweb bed and the haunted dungeon gate and the frightening lightning window, and then on list #9 they took the forever you rose and the mini wind turbine, etc. Some people have been skirting the edge of that rule, but I haven’t had to call anyone on it yet. 😉 The reason for that rule was to make sure nobody hogged all the really retired things, and I’m happy with the way those things have been distributed, because everybody’s gotten at least one thing that was long-retired. Hope that helps!

Today is a big day for me! For the past month I have been in the process of changing my mental health meds. Zingy, I think something got confused. I was the one who won 410,000 estore points. That was probably 2 years ago. I still have 100+. But, in the beginning it went pretty quick. I think I bought 2 full themes, and a few various other things. The points were delivered right to my game account. Months ago, I had tried to purchase gifts for the generous people here before I realized that most estore items are NKP. And, I am unable to get codes through the game…so there they sit!

Had to look thru the long list of customer service queries but yes, #51, “do you have a stuck item in your room” would work. You need the registered parent email for that account, the WWID and the birthday on the account.
But if you already still have the parent email account active, why not just email them from there? My experience with Ganz’ customer service forms is that I often got form replies back (like they copied and pasted the reply from a boilerplate) and have to keep sending requests until I get a response that sounds like they actually read the request. That’s why I have since switched to emailing directly or posting on Sally’s or Betty Butter Ganz’ wall on Facebook.

Okay, so after today’s thread, as a newcomer, I am now feeling some slight pressure to give a more formal introduction. 🙂 My dd got her first Webkinz Beagle back in 2008 and named him Miracle (hence, the name Miracle’s mom). Not long after, she bought me a Webkinz, but wanting it to be a surprise, she only gave me the tag at first (hence, the user name pet4mom, because I didn’t know what it was going to be). I named my little Persian Cat Surprise.
We played religiously for 2 or 3 years (back in the days when you could stack about 10 windows from friends, etc., and catch Fall Fest leaves all day long for everyone). Actually glad they limited it to 5 or 6, because I can now get some work done during Fall Fest and Winterfest. I came back a couple of years ago during the 10 year celebration and became re-addicted. The rest is history.
I am happy to find an active community. I am not particularly chatty, but I try to contribute when I can. How many people are active on this site? How long have some of you been friends? Seems fairly close-knit and fun. Looking forward to keeping up with you all; however, I am a teacher, and things get much busier for me during the school year … so we’ll see how well I do!

I finally made my vegan peanut butter cookies (adapting the Jif pbutter recipe)
substituted unsweetened almond milk for milk and tapioca powder for egg
they be stinking good!
we may try vegan banana bread this weekend………I told dd, that I thought if I sent her baked goods, that she would worry I snuck some butter in there…..ha ha ha. mama likes butter!

living out in the country kind of limits ingredients sometimes……we may make a trip to fort Campbell next week…….but from what I understand, you quick pickle the carrots and radish and maybe jalapeno (definite for us) and then shmear a baguette with mayo (yes we have vegan) and add whatever..cukes, meat and so on…………just the pics I have seen look so good! nice and fresh and we like quick pickle type stuff………just the acid and heat………..we be weirdos! we love kimchi!!!!!!!!nom nom nom

we have seen people come and go and had some bickering and misunderstandings along the way, but i don’t hold any animosity to anyone – just a big happy slightly dysfunctional family at times 🙂 i think when some tension is building up, it is good to just “turn on the light” so to speak – put it out there, clear the air, and move along
the ONLY time I am aware of anyone being banned was for scamming people here on trades – not an “innocent mistake” which is all you had leeann – don’t you give it a second thought 🙂 i get carried away and forget stuff constantly

You introduced yourself to the board just fine, and you already have demonstrated your generosity by hooking moms up with those seeds. 😉 We sometimes get what zingy refers to as “drive-by” people, who only show up when there’s a contest or giveaway, and disappear until the next contest. These are also the people who steal the free estore and feature codes the board offers from time to time and don’t even bother to thank the people who post the codes. Speaking of those seeds, I have spares of those apples if you want to speed up the recipe process. Let me know if you would like some!

Kinzgram, the candy apple seeds were available only from the fall fest soda during fall fest last year. I don’t know if they’re going to be in the prize pool for the sodas this year, because it seems like they change the prize pool a lot for each year. Fingers crossed that they are!

Wow Kinzgram! I can’t wait for some grandkids, but they better not be interrupting my sleep like that. I get slightly psychotic when I’m sleep-deprived. I was such a mess when my kids were newborns. My hubby came home from work one day when my oldest daughter was a baby, and there I was at five o’clock in the evening sitting in last night’s pajamas with my hair looking like a hay stack, a cloth diaper on my shoulder covered in baby spit-up, and the living room looking like the aftermath of a tornado, and he says “Hi honey! How was your day?” I’m ashamed to admit this, but I picked up a book off the end table and HURLED it at his head. 😳 He laughs about it now, but I bet he is still wondering what kind of lunatic he attached himself to for life!
The soft holiday moccasins are gone (candy got them) but the rest will be mailed out right now. 😉

My grandson’s sleep has been off all week.
Today he fell asleep from 2pm to 5pm, but he really needed the nap.
I did everything I could think of to get him back to sleep last night.
Any suggestions??
He is going into third grade.
My hubby just started using a CPac machine and the difference is amazing.
He was falling asleep in the bathroom.
He slept, but never got the sleep he needed. This had been happening for years and years, we never realized how it in-packed his life.

I love it and can’t seem to quit even though I’m too old to play (especially since I don’t have kids) I collect the cars and plants and now have an addiction to mystery clothing. I love to decorate rooms the most but it seems I am always missing that last piece…
I’m from the US but now I am a permanent resident in Canada â¤ï¸ I love plants! Especially orchids and plants I can use in vivariums. I have a cat named Walter who just turned 7 😀 He is the bestest cat ever â¤ï¸

Kinzgram, the apple seeds were one of those Fall Fest soda prizes. You buy a half a dozen sodas for the *chance* of getting what you want, which is frustrating because you end up with a bunch of one and none of the other. Being able to swap around afterward is perfect, though!

Hi everyone! So busy around here! My thoughts and prayers are will all going through hard times and times of joy!
Been busy camping this weekend! Sorry I haven’t been on much, santa lurker if the jack o side table is still up for grabs I would love it!
My internship has been going great! I’m working in wildlife rehab for the summer and currently we have lots of baby birds, chipmunks squirrels and all the usuals raccoons. But we also have two baby dear, two baby bobcats, 4 baby bears, and two baby seals! I don’t personally get to work with the bigger guys but I sometimes get to observe and it’s awesome getting to see them!! Love you all hope everyone has a great day!!

Littlefish, that sounds like a fun summer job. What are you studying at school? I just got back from a vacation at YNP and GT. We saw bison, mule deer, pronghorn, white tailed deer, marmot, black bear, elk, and mountain goat. I wanted to find moose, but no such luck.

Good Saturday Morning, Loving the Love here on the blog. Took me 1/2 to read every comment.
Thanks and hugs to everyone for sharing time, codes, great stuff, their lives and hopes and struggles and always the laughter.
My province of BC is still burning but there has been some progress in getting things under control and then the rebuilding will begin. My dad is safe at this point and the fires around him are under control for now.
On a webkinz note I finally got one of the Toadstool cottages, the yellow one. So funny that something like a virtual picture could make me so happy. So I agree with everyone that you can never be too old to be happy and playing webkinz and spending time on this blog make me happy.
Dearest SantaLurker you have found my weakness the plushies. If I may have the Sera plush and a Silly Scoops plush. Id ggmomcat.
It is fun to know what people like to collect.

LOL Gramma! Yes! There’s a webkinz Scottish fold cat, it was originally a promo pet for buying the plush POTM club for a year, but was released again as a points promo. I had to pay tonnns for it since I am in Canada and the dollar hasn’t been doing so good. I had to fight the Mr. to get her lol. I had to have that pet!
I would love a real scot fold cat but I have a cat already and I don’t think he would be too happy about another cat 😀
