oh and if anyone shops at dollar general stores (yeah, i am sure that is a rural thing)………they are converting all of their stores to something called dollar plus. which means more name brand grocery offerings….anyways, i went to mine to get some cucumber seeds as my first round was a no grow and saw all these half off clearance signs!
got glad flex trash bags, the regular forty box, for 1.15 cents. i also was looking for a new sweatjacket and had seen one there in the past and no way was i going to pay thirty bucks for one………got one for fifty cents! they are getting rid of all of their clothes, so i am gonna go back and get sweats for dd etc etc. name brand stuff, hanes and fruit of the loom. but FIFTY CENTS!
also got some reynolds foil and parchment paper for seventy five cents each….i just LOVE crazy bargains like that!
so i planted my new cuke seeds and green beans today….so far, we have corn, beans, cukes, basil, rosemary and carrots……….still need to get cilantro plants and one tomato plant to pot…….when we plant tomatoes in the garden beds, they freak out! i mean total jurassic park action.
no zukes this year as they go crazy too and they are so cheap to buy at local stands or even peoples yards, that they are not worth the hassle.
i just did a chant rant!

Sorry I have been absent for so long. I was lurking for a while, then went on vacation to Australia!!!! Had such an amazing time!!! My best friend lives there and it was so wonderful getting to see her for the first time in 6 years.
I want to thank Cheese and gagagee for the wonderful birthday gifts I received while I was away. I haven’t been in WW all month so I have a lot of catching up to do and codes to enter. Hope everyone is doing well.
