Updates & Spoilers

Let’s get started with PETS! Up first, we have Simba, the Lion King! (You’ll see why I call him this in a minute!) So this is the Tawny Lion Cub, Tawny Lion Gift Box, Sweete Safari Nook, and Crispy Plantain Chips.
And next, we have whippet…whippet good! (Sorry, bad ’80s music pun! 
) I showed you the PSI and PSF last month, but now we have NAMES! YAY! This is the Whippet Puppy, Whippet Puppy Gift Box, Favorite Fireplace Spot, and Short Rib Sliders.
Next up is brains…brraaaaaaaains! The Zombie Bear wants brrraaaaaaaaainssssss! This is the Zombie Bear, Zombie Bear Gift Box, Creepy Zombie Truck, and Brain Booster Smoothie. You might recall the monster truck and smoothie from last month, but now we have NAMES! YAY X 2!
Now for this year’s Halloween pet trio. Ms. Drama (whose cast is no longer itchy, but whose cast is now a MAJOR DRAG because she can’t go to the theme park in a week with her friends…oh, the humanity!) thinks these are foxes. I’m leaning more toward trolls. Who knows? These images don’t yet have names, so we’ll have to wait for either A) the names next month or B) Ganz to show us a bunch of pixellated part-images on that face place I will never join to find out what they are.
Okay, now for why I’m calling the Tawny Lion Cub Simba! This is the Sweet Safari theme. This is what that wood-grained ?? box from last month goes with. (I didn’t *think* it went with the wood and pipe furniture because it was too far away in the database. That wood and pipe furniture is a mini theme called the Industrial theme, by the way! 😉 ) Top row: Sweet Safari Wallpaper, Sweet Safari Flooring, Sweet Safari Bed, Sweet Safari Window. Bottom row: Sweet Safari Chest, Simb—err, I mean, Safari Lion Beanbag Chair, Pumb–err, I mean, Safari Warthog Beanbag Chair, Safari Wacky Lamp. Obviously, Ganz is riding Disney’s coattails here, which isn’t surprising, because they’ve done that many times in the past. (When they released the Studio Loft theme, I commented on WKN that my daughter was all excited to have iCarly furniture, and they made sure my comment wasn’t published, lol!)
More estore! This is an unnamed theme that I’m calling the Seashore theme temporarily. It looks to be the sort of stuff that will be released in monthly sales or BOGO sales. Top row: seashell chair, potted palm, driftwood storage bench, driftwood bookshelf. Bottom row: driftwood coffee table, lifeguard chair lamp, starfish rug.
Yet more estore! Top row: Whimsical Bistro Set, Whimsical Bistro Fence Divider (this was in last month’s update, but note how it has changed! It’s now only half as wide as it was.), unnamed wall divider that looks like it goes with the Whimsical Bistro stuff (and this is probably why the first divider changed…I think they were trying to make the divider change appearance upon rotation, but it didn’t work, so they created a second divider), Puppy Pop-Up Tent. Bottom row: Summer Vibes Dresser (and this is what the red furniture I showed you last month is called!), Flamingo Lazy River Ride (NEEEED!!!), Geyser Pool, unnamed octopus balloon that goes with all those animal hot air balloons from last year.
Now for some dispenser-y goodness! None of these have names yet, so I’ll give you my best guess. Top row: robin’s egg candy tree and food, apple limeade dispenser and food. Bottom row: apple tart cart and food, and I’m not sure if this is a dispenser or not, but what looks like a cabbage tree, and a food that was right near it in the system.
Yet more estore! Top row: Jungle Flower Cottage, Candle Cottage, Castle Playhouse. Bottom row: Woodland Tree House, Creepy Crypt House, unnamed CampKinz cabin. The Jungle Flower Cottage is the KinzCottage for August, and that rose border I showed you last month is the tie-in item and is called the Jungle Flower Fence. This ties in with the Sweet Safari theme, as does the candy tree and tie-in I showed you last month, which are called the Berry Butterfly Candy Tree and Berry Butterfly Rug. I showed you the Candle Cottage last month, but note how it has changed…the candles are no longer lit. I find this unnerving, because I made a joke about who would want to live in a house that was on fire, and I’m hoping Ganz didn’t see that, because if they did, that means they’re reading my posts and the thought of that freaks me out. Lurker by name, lurker by nature! 
The Creepy Crypt House goes with the Creepy Crypt theme from last year, which you can see on the picture guide.
Random newness! Top row: Pineapple Plushy (which code you ought to be able to use as of right now!), unnamed Spring Flower Sofa (goes with the Spring Flower House from Growing Seeds Mystery Box Series 1! And I NEED IT!), unnamed Violet Carriage (which looks like the Red Rose Carriage in the estore, and yes, it’s Fl0ral Favorites, which means I NEED IT! NEED IT! NEED IT!), random rainbow burgers (not sure if it’s a PSF or what). Bottom row: August 2019 WKN Gift Box and the two rare items that will be in it, the Peridot Glasses and the Forest Tile Coffee Table, and a Zingoz Pie Throw Trophy (Ahem. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!!!)
Now let’s talk clothing! Top row: Baby Shark Hat, Baby Shark Suit, Baby Shark Feet, Halloween Cupcake Dress. Bottom row: Luna Moth Antennae, Luna Moth Suit, Luna Moth Slippers, Thanksgiving Cupcake Dress. The Baby Shark set goes in that estore costume box I showed you last month, so that will be estore. (NEED the hat for my Harry Potter account so I can make Victor Krum have a shark head for the Triwizard Tournament!) I’m guessing the Luna Moth will be also be estore, or possibly KinzStyle Outlet. The cupcake costumes (which I NEED!) might be fall mystery bag.
More clothing! Top row: Starry Night Wig (which matches the Starry Night Skirt from the 2014 Awesome Autumn Mystery Bag…you know, the only mystery bag that had clothes and items in the same bag!), Starry Night Dress (which I NEED, along with the wig!), unnamed spider queen tiara and dress. Bottom row: unnamed creepy dolly wig, dress, and shoes, which Ms. Drama says is a direct copy of the doll from the Annabelle horror movie series. I’ll take her word for it, because I’ve never even heard of the movie!
More clothing, and if this isn’t 2019 Christmas Cracker, I will eat the proverbial hat! None of this is named yet, but I can pretty much guess the names. 😉 Top row: Topaz Hair Bow, Zircon Hair Bow, Garnet Hair Bow. Bottom row: SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!! NEED! NEED! NEED! Ahem. Sorry for that momentary bout of hysterical squealy girlness! I’m guessing these are called the Holiday Kitten Slippers and the Gingerbread Puppy Slippers, and I NEEEEEED them for my character slippers collection!!!!!
Yet more clothing, this time for the 2019 Super School event! None of this is named yet, but I’ll take my best guess. Top row: Kinzville Academy Boy’s Art Smock, Kinzville Academy Girl’s Art Smock, Marching Band Trombone. Bottom row: Marching Band Cymbals, Marching Band Piccolo or Flute, Kinzville Academy Football Rug. I let out a holy shriek when I saw the piccolo/flute, because I was a Marching Band Geek throughout school, and I played the piccolo and flute. SO EXCITED that my band geeks are getting proper attention for once! 😀 So yeah, NEEEEEEED!!!
And yet more clothing! These are all prizes for the 2019 Wacky Zingoz Celebration and are not yet named. I’m guessing they will be released by some permutation of WKN/WackyER Zingoz/floaty clicky/Deluxe Challenge/Wacky Challenge. July 4th was a quiet day around here… Everyone had things to do… so I ended up going over and fixed lunch for my Mom and I… Grilled a beef tenderloin and first attempt at grilled asparagus. It was really good .. if I do say so myself…
Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of 4th of July storm of 1969… It was said to be one of Ohio’s worst storms in history… I had walked to local park with a group of friends to watch the fireworks….Without warning what they called a derecho (??) blew in off the lake… Winds were said to be gusting up to 100 miles an hour… I remember our group dispersed in an attempt to get home.. my friend and I were terrified… trees falling ..around us… people running every where…We went car to car to try and get into some kind of safety.. Found a 2 seater Triumph which was not locked…3 cars over tree fell right on the car !!
3 people in the park were killed …….7 killed at the next closest park…To this day I get a little nervous when weather looks ominous .. Can’t believe I am that old !!!!!!

Doggone it, don’t tell me it’s one of those glitched adventures. So you already went to see Lunk in the clouds, right? That’s what triggers the game request. If you don’t talk to Lunk first, the game can’t proceed. I’ve done that where I see the next step in the ‘book’ and tried to bypass talking to the host. Discovered you have to engage host to proceed in the game.

Dee, my dogs stay in the house during fireworks because dogs DO tend to spook during the display. I agree, given that there’s a flight risk, why would someone jeopardize their animals’ safety?

moms…. Trophy awarded… not only in RL but here too ! Thanks for all you do for the blog ! Although I do not have kids… my Mother is very good and rattling off a list of chores… from the minute I arrive until I leave…rarely a please or thank you…. and she wants them all done NOW !! Sometimes I have to bite my tongue so I don’t say something I shouldn’t !! I get that she is 93 and that I am her least favorite kid of 6 but really ???….. do all for my Dad because I promised him “we” would take care of mom !

Someone posted the supposed “ingredients” to the Short Sleeved Neon Green Hoodie (haven’t tried it out yet, so don’t know for sure if the “recipe” actually works), but I have yet to see anything on the dress.

My Mom has a ‘wish list’ of things she’d like to have done, but the minute I walk in the door … that wish list disappears. I’m not her favourite, either. He lives in North Carolina. I guess you could say I’m luckier than Gaga because I am never expected to do those things, but it’s not for wont of, believe me. She would just rather sit and visit. So, it’s left undone. I keep wanting one of the other siblings to take her somewhere for a bit of a leisurely excursion and let me go hard on her house. With the right team we could have it done in a couple of hours. It’s just a wee 2 bedroom bungalow. By today’s standard it might be just a cut above a tiny house. Flanked on either side by these palatial domiciles that engulf the front yard and any other arable space, to the extent that you don’t see her home until you are directly upon it.
But, I digress … I would really like for my Mom to give me a to do list and walk away.

I really want that Tawny Lion Cub, but I will bet my bottom dollar it’s the next Deluxe pet that will also swap out just as my Deluxe are about to renew. That’s how I wound up with 3 flutter cows 🙄 they make these not-so groovy pets for Deluxe rollover during Black Friday.

Hey all! Happy post-4th of July! We had the MIL in town to visit. Kiddo saw us light one fireworks shower cone, and it shrieked, and he F R E A K E D out, so that was the end of the fireworks. He was unhappy and fell asleep with his fingers in his ears. I laid with him until he fell asleep, then went downstairs to find the cat shaking under Kiddo’s table and chairs. Picked her up and gave her a calming treat, and she gradually relaxed and began to doze on my lap while I petted her- she NEVER cuddles, so this was a special treat, and I took a lot of pictures. THEN Kiddo woke up hearing more booms and pops around, so Daddy and I gave it up and just went to bed, bringing Kiddo in with us. Long, hot, sleepless night. Just the right kind of sleep to bring Kiddo and MIL to the science museum-
-which was experiencing a POWER OUTAGE when we arrived, but they were still allowing people to purchase tickets and hang out in the atrium and enjoy activities and science carts and stuff for about 30 minutes until the power was supposed to come back on. WELL an hour later, lots of people crammed into a space with no climate control, dim emergency lighting in the bathrooms (they probably should not have been even allowing us access to the building, but either way), we decided to scoot out and go get lunch, and come back. The SECOND we left, someone posted on their social media page that the power came back on. FIGURES! But we had a good lunch, and has lots of fun once we got back there.
And last night, there were thunderstorms rolling through, and we had Kiddo in our bed again. UGH so hot and kicky. I’m glad MIL is gone today, because I could NOT handle another day with her on no sleep (no offense to those who ARE Mothers-in-law. We have a complicated history with her, and she’s just beginning to rebuild some trust that’s been lost since Kiddo was born.)
I was super looking forward to July in Webkinz World- I finally collected (AHA didn’t say acc-umulated take THAT filters BWAHAHAHA) enough estore points to get my Tiger Lily Kitten! Do you think Lily is too cliche a name? LOL Taking suggestions!
ALSO, how do you activate your next Deluxe account once one runs out? Mine’s due to roll over coming up at the beginning of August. I hear you Dixie, about the timing of less-groovy pets. I was initially going to wait to get my account last summer, but I heard that the ridiculous Flutter Cow was going to replace the snazzy Black Panther Cub, so I splurged early so I’d get the cub. Still got the cow at Black Friday, though. *waves unenthusiastic little flags*

I looked up the scientific binomial name, but Lilium lancifolium isn’t that useful either ( Love Greek and Latin root words too).

i know what it feels like to be underappreciated – luckily i am appreciated & loved greatly by my mom. she keeps me busy, but she appreciates it & tells me so. i have never sought out to be “the favorite”, and we always thought my mom would end up being closer to my sister, but my sister is not nurturing . . . too selfish to care that much for someone else, honestly & she has NO appreciation for all i do. which is fine. she doesn’t know what she is missing – i would not trade the friendship & joking & support with my mother
but you dear, you are an extreme blessing! i am so lucky not to be in that situation – my grandmother was that way with me sometimes, and I cannot imagine being in your shoes all of the time! you are so consistently giving to her, i don’t know how she can be anything but grateful in every way. you are such a good person! and a good daughter! and a good gaga! and a good friend!

Ah, my favorite time of the year! When Husband watches Stranger Things on his computer with headphones in, and I read the full synopsis on the Wiki and keep myself caught up with the spoilers so I can react accordingly with him as he watches. I LOVE Stranger Things, but after trying to watch the first season, it’s TOO scary for me. So I read, and Husband watches, and I watch whatever scenes I think I can handle.

I don’t watch Stranger Things either… I grew up on horror films, so nothing really scares me. I’m just not that into all the fantasy stuff.
I’m rather annoyed right now because neighbors are blowing off fireworks REALLY close to the house. Last year (or maybe it was the year before), the same neighbors blew off fireworks that ended up “raining” on our roof. An errant shell even hit my dear brother while he was standing on the porch and burned him slightly. It honestly sounds like we’re in the middle of a war zone right now… What’s even more annoying is that people have been blowing off fireworks in my area since before July 1st. It’s the 6th now. What are these people doing?? 🙄

In case anyone was wondering, it is possible to watch all 3 seasons of stranger things, and watch the 3rd season twice, over the course of 2.5 days… so that’s where I’ve been…
Started season 3 Thursday afternoon, finished late that night, then started over with season 1 on Friday, just finished the show an hour ago.
I did take a short break to watch my boyfriend’s family set off fireworks. The neighbors complained and the police showed up, but they could really do anything about it. Apparently those neighbors are always complaining about something.
Got a bad storm today and part of the basement flooded. Luckily for me, I was the only one home to deal with the mess! Thankfully the neighbor saw me dragging the pump in from the garage and offered to help. Nothing too valuable was damaged, it was only about 2-3 inches in the deepest part.

Celebrating my niece today for our family gathering… She graduated from college in May but is staying to pursue her Masters.. so she hasn’t been home since graduating… She requested spaghetti for our meal..salad..bread and of coarse a cake !! My brother is coming… will be happy to see him because I haven’t seen him since the accident despite a few calls to check on his well being…Not sure who else will be joining us… but looking forward to family day…
The first of my 5 sibling’s kids are getting married in September…Temporarily living in Florida and his fiancee flew up to CLE for a wedding shower yesterday….They have asked me to do a reading at the Mass.. felt honored but a bit nervous to get up in front of people I don’t know.. so we’ll see… They will be married up here because most of their families live here… She is the youngest of 7 !!

Puma.. have not heard of Stranger Things.. but since I am a fraidy cat anyway.. I don’t think I will tune it in…I have heard that there is a shock vest for dogs to wear during storms/fireworks… not sure if they make them for cats but have heard the vest helps..

CLE is hosting MLB All star game this year… not a big baseball fan but love hearing all the news about it…City is bustling with activity.. Nephew went downtown yesterday with buddies to try and get some autographs but was super crowded and lines were too long… not to mention the heat and humidity has been terrible the past few days !! He finally called back yesterday to discuss all of the NBA news…nonstop for 35 minutes !! It always makes me smile because he thinks I know ALL of the names he rattles off… although I must say I outscooped him with Kawhi trade… Was up at 3 am yesterday and saw the news… and it was a shocker to me ! thought for sure he would stay in Toronto…or join LeBron /Lakers….
Better get going.. Lots to do to get for our dinner today

That Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream really has me buffaloed. I have searched the internet for a while now and nothing is coming back to me. I, personally have no knowledge of this item and it intrigues me. I thought MAYBE a dispenser food, but ❓ no that isn’t it. I have to wonder if it’s like one of SLL’s up and coming items. They have knowledge of it, but it is yet to be released to the public.
And yes, like everyone else, Chant we haven’t heard from you for a bit and we are hoping you’ll pop in and let us know how things are going.
Puma, we had inconsiderate neighbours who were lighting firecrackers, last year and they lit one off near the house after they found out we called the police on them. Out here they can’t purchase, possess or light fireworks of any kind without first getting a permit from the municipality.

Dee, I’ve only had tabbouleh once, and it wasn’t to my taste, but I LOVE Falafel!! What recipe will you use for that? I’m so wary of spices (herbs- bring ’em on. Spices- nooooooooooo too scary!) so I want to get better!

Dee, I like Tabbouleh but I’m not so fond of falafel if it’s made with fava beans .. isn’t that funny 😆 certainly not served with a fine Chianti … but I digress I like the lighter chick pea version. One of the girls from the west coast brought Tabbouleh for the pot luck we had last month and NO ONE knew what it was 🙄 and I was really hoping the girl who was going on Mat-leave would bring her Laddu. We have such a diverse population in our store. Filipino, East Indian, German, Ukrainian, Scottish, Nigerian (from two different parts) Arab Emirates … potlucks are a festival of cultures.

Thanks Gaga, but I think a lot of us saw the writing on the wall when he stopped updating 4 years ago. If you don’t update it becomes vulnerable and unstable… he knew it was going to happen, too. Right now, I’m miffed, but I think someone has mirrored the site and I’m going to check and see what we can do about rebuilding. If only for the information.

I enjoyed reading all the posts! Last week I was too busy to keep up with this blog due to granddaughter’s visit. We had lots of fun playing Sorry, Barbies & Webkinz, to name just a few of the things we did.
Dixie – A big thank you for helping with Adventure Park dilemma! We were able to finally figure out how to “click” on Lunk the Giant. She was able to finish her quest!
Oh…and somehow, I am not surprised to read that Momskinz washed the water bottles! Definitely a trophy is in order! LOL!

Littleleaf, I ‘know a few people’ and they foresaw this. We are starting our own recovery process as we speak. It may not be as comprehensive, but we have the basics. There’s Google docs and I have stuff saved on my hard drive, so have the others.

Does Justin not have a back up of WI? I am sad by the thought of all the work put into that site as permanently lost! I probably saved some stuff, but it was SO MUCH that I doubt I have much that would be helpful. WI was a WW dictionary, so to speak. WKN doesn’t begin to touch on the info that was on WI.

Sad to hear about WI being gone. I haven’t been on there in ages, but I still keep in contact with some of my friends from there.
Boyfriend is back in the hospital. He has a blood clot and maybe pneumonia, they want to do a procedure tomorrow to get rid of the blood clot. He’s been complaining about his leg bothering him for 2 weeks now and I repeatedly told him to see a doctor, but he didn’t want to. Now that it’s gotten this bad he has all kinds of excuses for why he supposedly didn’t go.
