Good evening friends!
Did my floaties very early this morning and am happy to report I got at least one of every prize between my three accounts except the Hot Pepper seeds! Pretty good for day 1, I think!
This is how you know you’re sick… I made hot cocoa last night using hot water instead of milk. Microwave usually doesn’t do a great job at making the water hot, so I was surprised when the cocoa started steaming up my glasses. Fast forward to this morning, I realized I burned my tongue and didn’t even know it! Like how does that even happen??
Thank you gaga and moms for the get well wishes! ♥♥ Throat is already feeling much better, which was the one thing that was bothering me the most!!

I’m still not feeling well but I took Moms advice and sleep a lot and lots of fluids. I also “vegged” all day on WW in between naps. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. 🙂

moms—We had a wonderful weekend! Yesterday was my annual physical and I scheduled my mammo. If anyone has access to the 3-D (digital) ones, I highly recommend those. It was much easier on ‘the girls’ for me and the docs get better images.
I was able to get a window and a painting yesterday! Hoping to get some leaf catching in later today. Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi! Sorry I’ve been MIA ! I actually forgot about fall fest!!! Oops!
Been busy sewing at night last few days, and yesterday was very busy and full. Saw foot dr. Did research at town hall, paid bills, another dr. Visit, then to police station to put in applications for our gun permits, then off to grocery shop, then back to police station for fingerprinting! Didn’t get home till late. Dh got his clearance right away, unfortunately I didn’t as the fingerprint machine hated me and woukd take my prints correctly!!! They said I may need to go back again…gotta luv technology…sigh
And then I sat in bed and hand sewed the waistband of the skirt of new rennisance dress. My fingers took quite a few pin picks and hurt now. Lol but I got it finished, well, except for the hook…I can’t remember where I put them sad to say..and I know if I go buy a new one…ill end up finding them after…story of my life! Lol
So, now I need to start looking for leaves..hope they are flying goid. Got alot accomplished yesterday, and I felt good, but was exhausting.

green pepper chopped, onion chopped, jalapeno chopped
black beans, pinto beans, can of diced tomatoes, can of tomato sauce (small one)
cumin, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and chili powder!
i debated on going total veggie with chopped carrots and corn ,but held back as this is dhs first meatless one from me. My dd is vegan and makes vegan chili, which i am purdy sure this qualifies for!

Good morning friends!
Still sick, but not in as much misery as I would have expected! It’s very weird and I’m very suspicious… I kind of feel like I’ve been in the Twilight Zone lately. Everything has just been very “opposite” of usual this week.
So, before I got sick, the plan was to use this week to go through some stuff in the house. I’ve only managed to go through two boxes so far, but in them was some of my beloved grandma’s old makeup. She loved her makeup and her shoes and her clothes. 🙂 I can’t fit into any of her shoes anymore and I think I gave away most of the clothing passed down to me because they didn’t fit. I know the makeup is old and can’t be used, but I just can’t fathom the idea of throwing the makeup away. It all smells like her or at least reminds me of her. It makes me feel like she is still here in a way… Three days from now, I’ll be 13 years without her. It’s interesting how certain things pop up around certain times…
Anyways…

I don’t think anyone answered this so I just thought I’d let you know… The flooring moms used in her Weathered Barn Hayloft room is called the “Farmhouse Flooring.” You can get it by filling up your Sugarberry jar in Jumbleberry Fields and selecting it as your grand prize OR by feeding your pet a Sugarberry and having it awarded to you if you’re REALLY lucky!

Received e mail from hospital system that I work for… I guess they give you an item of your choice from catalog for years of service… Seems like there are some pretty nice choices… Considering 32 inch Smart TV or new camera…also had a Dyson vacuum sweeper….will look things over again before I decide !

Gaga- My workplace does that too and although I haven’t reached the required number of years of service, I’ve heard mixed reviews about whether the prizes are that great.

Dee – Your activities sound fishy! Ha ha!
I had a great visit with oldest dd & family this past weekend. We went to see Downton Abbey movie and enjoyed it very much. Not sure that it would be as enjoyable if you didn’t know the story lines. Stayed through Sunday afternoon to watch Ravens football game with s-i-l. Decided that instead of eating out on our way home that we would spend our money instead on salmon. So ….even though it was late, my husband fixed salmon & trout (they didn’t have enough salmon) and I fixed a salad. Perfect way to end the weekend.
Momskinz – Thanks for the 91919 gifts! Perfect! Also, mammogram scheduled for end of October!
Dee – Where is your dd? My dd’s phone doesn’t really work in EU. She uses wifi for What’sApp or other internet connections. She called me via What’sApp the other day because she had forgotten her credit card pin number. I couldn’t find it. But her friend in Spain was able to find it in her stuff. So she is all set now. (Her debit card expired during her EU travels…she was aware that it was going to happen, but bank could not send her the new card before she left. Crazy!) I have communicated via Skype before, but I always had a kiddo to help me set it up. Now that I am kiddo-less, I’m not sure I know how to do it.
Enjoyed the fall rooms that were posted. Right now my fall room is just a collection station for fall fest items and not ready for display as it is! Some call it clutter, perhaps! LOL!
Gaga – I also miss the days that the kiddos wanted to play and/or talk Webkinz. My oldest dd (the one we just visited) likes to talk about it sometimes, but she is so busy with grad school, being a step-mom, etc. that she doesn’t have time to play often. Plus, I try to only talk to her about it when it is just the two of us. I hope her interest renews once she is done with school. We will see….Meanwhile, it feels awfully lonely. It makes me appreciate this space all the more. ♥
On a different note, Gaga, congrats on 45 years! I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the gifts! Love Dee’s suggestion of estore points! ♥ I got a gift one time for serving 3 years at a bank (before the days of kiddos). I chose a garden kneeler & seat and I’m not really a gardener like some of you here. (I only did flower gardening, but now my husband is doing it). Who knew how practical that gift would be in my OLD age! LOL! I use it all the time around the house! Ha ha! Actually, I’m not sure I’m really in the OLD category, but my one knee has aged faster than the other and I have difficulty getting up and down at times.
Chant – Story of my life, too! Cant’ find an item, go out and buy it, come home and find it! Ha ha! Has anyone ever counted up how many pairs of scissors they own? Or pencils and pens? Or whatever?

On a Webkinz note…I’m done with the The Luck of the Noble Elk Challenge on all of my accounts! Yay! I’m still clicking on the elk everyday, though, because I really want the cloak (community challenge).
Still working on the acorn collection on two accounts. I didn’t do it as much on my extras.
Fall Fest…is going well, so far. I’m not able to collect all the leaves on all the accounts, but that is okay! I seem to have at least one or two of everything. As far as the soda bottle prizes go, I still would like to get the tree stump, fall oak tree (grand prize), topiary & cantaloupe seeds. So may have to buy more soda bottles! 😉 Out of the 2018 fall fest player appreciation day, I believe that I got one of each.
