Hello, all!
Yep, I am wrapping up class prep! Back to work on Monday! And I’ll be going to bed soon!
We woke up Saturday morning with the realization that two of our cars had been rifled through. Sigh. Nothing significant missing other than a little bit of cash. Many of our neighbors reported the same thing and one car was stolen. What a way to start the day!
But the good news is that our son & family have electricity! They left for home on Sat. afternoon. I will miss lil’ girl. She wasn’t feeling well, and I suspect an ear infection. But my nurse son & d-i-l didn’t think so and I’m not going to argue with them.
Can’t wait until lil’ girl is old enough for Webkinz! I got a kick out of the dressing the kitties with Webkinz clothes. My girls used to do the same thing with our cats. LOL!
Gaga – Good luck with your mom! I’m glad you have a break coming up! Glad himself is settled back in college life.
Moms – Glad your son arrived safely back to college.
Dee – Sounds like you got about the same amount of snow as us. You mentioned grilling? In the snow?
Puma – I have been there when the budget is tight! My son reminding us of some of his stories of keeping within budget. He was known at work for eating PB sandwiches everyday. He did that until peanuts went up in price. Then he switched to beans & rice. Everyday for a LONG time.
Oh…and I made sure to get whatever I needed from the summer clothing line! All set there! 😉 Thanks, moms!

Sheba … Happy you feel well enough to return to class today.. Hope you have a good day.. I bet your son and dil are thrilled to have their electricity back on
moms… thanks for new post about the upcoming clothing.. I usually try to buy glasses and hats ! I did not dawdle yesterday at my mom’s.. When she I was there she pulled the covers back up and stayed in bed ! Did my chores there and fixed lunch… grilled some steaks baked potato and fresh cauliflower.. She did get up and ate a fairly good lunch….She was ready for the Browns game with her glass of wine…. so I left.
dee.. Hope you can get out and can get a change of scenery and fresh air !
Puma .. tried adopting a new pet on NEXT.. with no success.. Kept saying to please wait… Maybe there was a glitch… will try again today…

Hey guys. I wanted to apologize for not being around as much but I just haven’t had time for Webkinz lately. Everyone in my family except myself got sick with covid and my parents had to be hospitalized. My mom is still in the ICU, but she’s getting better.
Moms – Thank you for the Secret Santa email.
Miracle – Thank you for the gifts you keep sending. I’m going to be sending you a lot of PSFs over the coming weeks when I can remember to get on Webkinz. I hope it’ll help you check off your list.

One of 60 minutes segments featured the kicker from the Ravens…Not only are they reporting that he may be the greatest kicker of all times… but he has an amazing voice ! Sang a short snippet of Ave Maria… was beautiful.
Stepping away this week from my mom.. however the Tuesday person had surgery and I am covering tonight.. I did warn my mom that Nurse Cratchet would be covering..

DH stayed up late watching Alabama/Georgia game. I went to bed early. It was a good day and I enjoyed seeing the children again. But I was pretty tired.
Lil’ girl put on antibiotics. My son didn’t say why, but as I shared with you all already….. I highly suspect ear infection.
I haven’t had much time to catch snowflakes, and I also haven’t been as motivated to do so, in light of nothing new. However, much to my surprise, I have gotten a bit of a thrill with some of the really old items that I’ve caught. Nostalgia, I guess. 😉

growing crops has made me serious money on next – i planted two full yards basically between wshop crops & farmers market crops, then i try to harvest every day or at least on farmers market days (Tu, Th, & Sun) & sell to the farmer’s market
some days i have my limit of 50 items – i always sell the most valuable item first, so today that was strawberries, and i had 50 of them & made 1550 kc . . .

last nite i made turkey kielbasa with some chopped green pepper and onions
had the leftover roast sweet and white taters, so threw them in
yum
today went to kroger………pretty empty!
but wanted pasta salad, so ginned that up this afternoon
shocked at kroger……….no carrots! none zip nada
no cream cheese (blaming you city people)
none of the burger i like which was on sale this week AND i have a coupon
only chicken was thighs and tenders
weird…………made me think of the neighbor down the street with chickens.
she might have to start keeping a closer eye on them
wish i could play the next, but silly to buy a whole new computer (if i even can) just to play it

Good Evening All…
Just getting home from my mom’s … I must say that she was on her best behavior ! No snide comments.. she enjoyed her dinner and I heard her talking to her favorite daughter on the phone that she has to learn to budget her wine rations ! All in all was a pleasant evening.. Went to himself ‘s house today to doing some cleaning and feed his kitty… I am sure the poor thing is so confused.. Felt bad for her too ! The little Christmas tree is still up and has 2 wrapped gift sitting under it that himself had bought and wrapped for his Dad..
dee.. your #12 comment made me laugh ! Guess my comment looked kind of dumb but I thought I had read somewhere that if you combine 2 pets somehow you get a baby pet ? I guess you have to buy one !

Dee, I do not consider eggs meat, so they’re a great fit for Meatless Meal Nights. They’re certainly not vegan, but I believe they count as vegetarian. I LOVE eggs. I eat two a day for breakfast. Hardboiled for snacks. Egg salad sandwiches. AND you said the magic word- FRITTATA. OH I love a frittata. With ham, bacon, gouda cheese, or roasted broccoli and beets and potatoes, parmesan cheese, or colby jack. Yeess, delightful. I can eat a whole frittata in a day. *burps discreetly*
We did baked potatoes with all the fixins’ and Caesar salad for our meatless meal this week. YUM!
Congrats on your new pet Gaga! Who did you get? If you want to combine their “sparks†to make a baby, go to the adoption center and talk to Ms. Biscuits. You also need 80 gems >.< But you just press a button and out pops a baby! Certainly easier than real life!

We’ve been busy around here. Kiddo and I have been rocking out with school (more complicated addition and subtraction, rotation of the earth/seasons, word blends, reading level 2-3 reader books, and playing with his awesome new Sphero STEM little coding-bot he got for Christmas) and getting out in the sunshine at the parks.
