Himself gave me his shopping list for his arrival on Friday… but looks like I shouldn’t have any trouble with the items he wants.

Good Morning

dee… Did you have any luck fishing ? I know earlier you had some snow and hopefully your weather has warmed up… I don’t think I could fish in the cold !
moms.. we hired a new caregiver last night ! She will be picking up some of my time which I am very happy about. Hope my mom and she will get along.. and things work out. Will meet her there tomorrow for ” orientation” and introduce her to my mom. Heard from himself last night.. He seems to be setting in with the classes he has started so far… Has 5 hour lab two days a week which seems intense… but his lab partner was one of his former dorm mates … was preplanned and a good fit for both of them !

hey everyone!
long but productive day
grocery shopped & saw maybe 3 tubs of cream cheese on the shelf! i’m sure they’re gone now & someone was very happy to find them. i left them since i have some in the fridge – our weather forecast is showing the potential for some ice & nastiness, so i’m guessing the store will be extra busy tomorrow
i bought stuff for sloppy joes & have stuff for chicken soup, but i forgot all about my plan for pot roast 🙄
now that i say this, i feel like i forgot something for the soup – it’s a recipe i’ve only used once, so i need to double check

morning everyone!!!
very sad that winterfest ended today. Honestly was pretty disappointed in the prizes i was able to get. I got a LOT of repeats, even with the large prize pool, and mostly got food :-/ at least I was able to get the yeti plushy for my collection!! If anyone has an extra winterfest bear plushy (the one with the toque) i could send you something in return!!!
i agree with some of yall about the upcoming events. not the most exciting prizes in my opinion. The valentines collection event doesnt even really seem “valentines-y” at all to me. but oh well!! i will definitely still participate in it nonetheless!

Hey all!
YEAH Moms that weather looks rough. *yikes* We went and put our weekly grocery pickup order in early, and there were hardly any pickup slots left. Seems like everyone is buckling down too. A pot roast sounds so good- I haven’t had a good pot roast in a long time. Roasts are expensive. I always make mine in a crock pot with ½ bottle of Wishbone Italian dressing, and serve it with mashed potatoes! We’re planning on chocolate-chocolate-chip cookies and cornbread and chili.
Dee, I’ve never tried making cheese of any kind! The cream cheese doesn’t look too hard! Are you going to try it?? We don’t have the ingredients right on hand, but I’ll def bookmark it.
I was a little underwhelmed with Winterfest this year too, but I got a few neat little bits. The Valentine’s event is also uninspiring (I am the most UN-salon-y
girl) but I’ll still collect it I guess. #webkinzhorader LOL
I KonMari-d my clothes yesterday! I’ve been reading Mari Kondo’s book and had forgotten how comforting her process is! I have one box to discard, and one box to donate. I folded, appreciated, and thanked each piece, and now my dresser is SO TIDY!
Homeschool with Kiddo today, then park and library for last minute errands and outside time before The Storm LOL I’ve been knitting him a pair of socks, and just started the second one- might be able to knock out a lot on it over the weekend if we’re just laying low.
I shared with Kiddo the fact that he gets eStore points each month- he immediately wanted to buy a new pet XD So now he has Chewy, the gummy polar bear.
