Health Care Workers Challenge
The second part of the Essential Workers Challenges “Meet the Health Care Workers!” runs from Monday, February 28 – Sunday, March 13th!
Prizes: Green Scrubs Pants, Dr. Quack’s Side Table Lamp, & Webkinz Cares Cookie
Here are the 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, March 13th (EST) to earn all the prizes:
- Healthcare requires expert training! Complete 6 classes at the Academy.
- Put out flowers for the patients! Earn 25 KinzCash playing Tulip Trouble 2!
- Eat a healthy diet! Feed your pet 3 apples!

Good Morning !
Last day of February ! Looking forward to tearing another page off the calendar and hopefully some warmer weather and more daylight !
This phase of the Workers Challenge seems pretty easy to complete.
Family meeting went off without any heated discussions… Major accomplished for six different opinions… My brother was able to participate from Georgia but couldn’t enjoy the lunch. Hope to see another facility today… I crossed yesterday’s off the list…I am not sure what the rest of my siblings thought but will gather the facts about several places and make the decision.
Late night call from my mom however I never heard the phone. I must have been in a really deep sleep but I am running on empty and was exhausted.
Her message was… ” I don’t know how I am going to get home ” ! Heartbreaking because she won’t be returning to her home.
moms.. Hope you had a nice visit with your in laws ! Are your college guests arriving today ? How is Humphrey doing ?
dee… Did you get your cookies made ? Thanks for the tie dye reminder !
Didn’t back on WW but have plenty of bottles of tie dye… just need to do some sewing !
Sheba… How did your WW two discussion go ?… So much happening in the world right now.. Very scary…Ohio is so far one of three states dumping their vodka…. am sure there will be more states than join in.

hey yall! happy monday!!!
seemed to have missed the squishmallow discussion!! I love them so much!! i have over 100 of them haha (most of them are 5 inches though). They truly became such an addiction over quarantine lol
Also the rare item today is an aztec dining chair at 4pm! I am pretty low on funds but i am only 2000 KC away so i can sell some things or play some games until then. Also am i the only one who finds it so frustrating the one rare per day rule applies to chairs?? its so frustrating that you need to keep waiting to get a full set of rare chairs when most people will need 4-6 chairs.
also! speaking of frustrations, am i the only one who finds it strange you dont get any prize for getting 1000 pieces of trash in the kinzville park? you get a prize for every other landmark of 100 EXCEPT 1000. It seems so strange haha.

Have to share – dd’s account won the wish of the day! Did not even know if that was actually possible. Logged in and had a package, it comes in Wish Factory wrapping paper. Has anyone else ever won it? She and I were both happily surprised.
nick- I have the snowy retriever, will send that over today. And yes, would be nice to have items in pairs, at least the things that make sense.
moms- sounds like you have it under control for your visitors. Excited to hear how that goes.
gaga- that whole process is so hard, hoping it all goes smoothly. Went through it with FIL, but luckily dh is an only child, so decisions were simple. And the place we found was ideal for our situation at the time. Not looking forward to going through it with my family in the future.

moms.. Happy the kids arrived safely ! Sounds like you have everything under control.. a comfy overnight for them and on to their destination ! I am sure all of your efforts are greatly appreciated !
Rescheduled eye appointment and then to an unplanned dental appointment will take up a fair portion of my day today… but both important… Setting up to places to visit tomorrow for my mom… and one so far on Thursday… Things need to be fairly figured out by the end of this week.. The remote financially responsible brother is heading to Europe for 9 days and needs to involved in getting payments set up… Hopefully some place will be a good fit and we will at least like it….
dee.. Your kitty comments made me laugh ! That little rascal ! I am sure the little chit thoroughly enjoyed them ! I am not sure about Dr Quacks prizes but I thought that I had read somewhere that three of them were new ?
cmpets .. Congrats on winning the wish of the day prize ! Decisions do become difficult with five siblings especially when some have more to say than their involvement in day to day life of parent….and are clueless in care that is needed.

I was down to 300 KC and was worried I wouldnt be able to afford today’s rare item at 9pm. It is the Aztec Mystic Eye Lamp at 9 pm EST!
Also if anyone is looking to trade some of the tie dye clothing i would be interested! I keep getting the same items over and over again so it makes more sense to trade instead of keep wasting my KC. I have a lot of common dresses and uncommon wigs if anyone is need
Also love the peek-a-newz prizes for the month. Even though I have a couple, I dont mind getting extras of these as compared to getting dozens of extra “fashion posters” last month lol

Cassie.. sorry that you are struggling with some RL issues.. Glad you reached out to your friends here and know that we are here to support you in our thoughts and prayers.
moms.. don’t really know what a king cake is.. didn’t do much to celebrate Fat Tuesday… except eye and dental appointments….important to get them off my list of things to do… Looking at a couple of places for my mom today… Hope one of them is a good fit.. and we can get her settled somewhere. I was able to stop down to have lunch in the cafeteria and visit with my co workers after eye appointment.. Always love catching up on what is happening despite not working any more
dee.. that is so sweet that you send your dd holiday care packages.. I am sure she loves getting them ! I bet she won’t ask you to stop … thoughts of home are all fun to receive no matter how old she is.
NEXT has new gimmick … but you must purchase something to complete activity… so not interested.

Moms – You still have company?
I just found out that my parents and a long-time friend the age of my parents are coming on Friday. Which means….I probably won’t be here much. I have some preparing to do! At least the guest beds are made, but it means I will have to declutter dining room area. And now our living room is full of baby stuff. I need to figure out how to contain it all. I will have baby girl tomorrow, though. We have the playpen in the living room for now because the room I usually have it in is used for an office when her mom works here.
Gaga – My thoughts & prayers are with you as you make decisions regarding your mom! I can’t imagine how hard it will be for her to not go home.
Thanks for asking about my class. The WW2 discussion was primarily last week, but we continued with it from the angle of changes that happened in the U.S. at that time (women in the factories; changes in fashion; rationing, etc…), although we did touch on black-outs and more where the war was happening. The Ukrainian situation made it even more sobering as we compared some of the events (such as finding shelter underground, fleeing homes, losing homes, losing family members). There was definitely a more serious tone this week.
cmpets – I didn’t realize the wish of the day prize came in Wish Factory wrapping paper. I have won the wish of the day in the past, but it was SO long ago, I don’t remember. But how AWESOME! Congrats!
LL – I’m glad you are getting some of the food items on your wish list. I was going strong for a while, but I’ve dropped the ball lately. Meanwhile, I’ll try to update my wish list. I made a paper list about a month ago of PAN items that I’m missing from the past.
Platynick – I am not sure I have any more plushies for you, but if I come across one I’ll send!

hey everyone! spent a lot of time with the baby today – he is healing well, just bored – he has adapted to his cone pretty well though, but he wants to play & run & run & run & run which he is not allowed to do yet . . .
he is sooooo sweet – you can see his little playpen we are using when we have to keep him contained so he isn’t in a crate all of the time
