   Good Morning All !

   Love the sleigh for Deluxe Day too ! Just hope it is not too small..Countdown to Christmas starts Wednesday with Miss Birdy… Love the gnome !

   Sheba.. happy you are starting to feel a bit better.. One of my nephews tested positive this past week and he is still sick..

   dee.. can’t help with the cocktail recommendations… learned my lesson a long time ago ! All of the cookie suggestions sound really good !
   I too am not much of a baker but as you know I have recently become hooked on the Holiday Baking Championship shows and am so amazed at their creations !

   moms.. So nice that you have a talented baker to help you in the kitchen !
   Chocolate chip are still my favorite and wonder if he doesn’t follow the recipe how did the cookies turn out ? What does he change ?
   Hopefully your other ds will be arriving home for the holidays !

   We are having a family get together for lunch tomorrow with siblings and niece from Seattle.. She and my sister were able to spend the day together yesterday and she requested that they go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which she had not been to previously ! She also wanted to visit castle which she and her dad used to walk their dog when she was a little kid… will be the first Christmas without him. Anxious to hear about their day… they are heading down to OSU to visit himself for the day… and she will go back tomorrow night. This year will be rough for the kids.
   First Christmas without my Mom… but she is in a better place with my Dad.

   ll… A Christmas Cookie Exchange sounds like a great idea ! Will be anxious to hear what everyone brought and your favorite !

   Busy day today which is just as well.
   Hope to catch at least part of the game tomorrow but will see.

   we went up to the mountains today for a little while – good day

   got our favorite apples from our favorite orchard, too

   ds had friends over last night & that whole batch of sugar cookies is gone! 🙂 they were good

   gaga – he used a recipe from someone else, but i didn’t compare them yet to see what is different

    dee… I did try to clear the cache..
    I am beginning to think it was something I said about the player just returned from Russia who had refused to be a part of the National Anthem prior to her game….( for a whole season)… done in protest… I said that they should have kept her !

    Hello, all!

    Gaga – The other week I could only post in small sections. It was irritating to say the least. But maybe give that a try if it happens again and see if it makes a difference. It isn’t always that way for me, which makes it hard for me to understand. I also have wondered if there is a forbidden word in what I was trying to post, but usually it just goes to trash in that case.

    I can’t remember the last time that I made Christmas Cookies. We always made a recipe called Amish Cookies with Buttercream Frosting. You would have to refrigerate the dough before rolling them out. It was a huge project as the recipe always made 14-15 dozen.

    I am feeling better and will try to teach tomorrow (with mask, of course). I do have a great assistant who can be my sub for 4 out of the 5 classes. It is that other class that might pose a problem. So I am hoping that I feel great in the morning! 😉 Dh is much better. We have been told that the fatigue part of it will last for weeks or months.

    Love the Deluxe prize…was kinda’ wishing I had renewed my granddaughter’s account just to get an extra one. I didn’t renew it because she isn’t showing as much interest.
