I’d also like to address a concern expressed by some of you. I know the prices of some new Exclusives are high. I’ve already reduced prices on some items. But isn’t everything that’s worth having, worth working hard for? I see the joy on your faces when you finally save up enough Tokens to get that special piece. Doesn’t the fact that you have to work for it make it all the more special?

“Shovable snow” – I like that phrase, will add it to my vocab! We had an inch of shovable snow yesterday … had 3 weeks of mild fall time weather after the early October snow melted.
We have flannel sheets on the beds year-round, used to be just fall/winter but we love our air-conditioning in the summer …

Just watched the first episode of “This is Us” and I was wondering the whole time how the heck all these people would be tied together.. then the last five minutes of the episode hit me like a bus. Great show, unfortunately. I say it’s unfortunate because I’m currently playing catch-up with 2 other TV shows and I’m in the middle of 3 different books. 😛

getting ready rush to head north to an art show. FFQ submitted an art print for a student exhibition and hers was chosen for the show … of course it is tonight and she found out yesterday … then of course today went totally south ..

Hi all! Just checking in. We got back from Italy late last night. It was an AMAZING trip!!! We went to Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Forums, Piazza Navonna, an Italian Flea Market, Altare Della Patria, the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. SO MUCH HISTORY!!! Great food! Great people! Lots of walking!
…Now back to reality. House is a disaster. Have months of work to get caught up on. And MIL is having emergency surgery tomorrow…oy Vey!
Was a gorgeous day here today. Certainly not ready for any snow! Keeping my fingers crossed!

dd got a new backpack for college and supposedly had cleaned out her old one……I was going thru all the pockets before it gets donated and I found twenty dollars!

and some post it notes too, which is a nice find….we like post its here….a friend gave me several hundred a couple years ago as a Christmas gift!

Thanks guys. I found out on here first of course. Was waiting in line at Target decided to see if anything was going on tonight and saw Boper’s comment. Thanks for posting the picture. There were road tracks in one of the apple orchard pictures which sparked the idea.

Sounds like a wonderful trip AmberRose you went a lot of the same places my hubby and OD went. Did you buy any clothing at the market? OD brought home some interesting tops. She was surprised the sleeve lengths actually fit her, all the tops here go almost to her finger tips.

gagagee, I’m in ‘decorating for Christmas mode’. every time I pull out a bin, kitty claims it as her ‘spot’ for snoozing. need to grab a grand or two to haul other boxes and trees out of the attic. left hip giving me fits, along with tear in right knee. aging stinks, but beats the alternative. 🙄
movie watching is all ‘Christmas’ themed; on the two Hallmark channels, and ones I’ve dvr’d past years. 🙂

Anyone here like Pandora bracelets? They have a new gold bangle that’s really sharp. It’s not cheap but it sure is pretty. I have a silver bangle and I love it working on a Christmas one and may get started on a Disney.

I have a post idea……..what to do with turkey! our Canadian friends who already did theirs could chime in……..
dh called and is coming home tomorrow (some blizzard or something), so I went and bought a turkey breast………..but there just be two of us…
I was thinking my tortilla blossoms with turkey? gramma? not sure who else on here has made them……..eeeeeeeeeekkkkkkk
just baked four dozen regular p butter cookies (some with the Hershey kiss)
got a late nite call from dd last nite for an urgent need of Christmas décor…she LOVES that ticky tacky horrendous tinsel stuff….I had some stuff to send her and went to dollar tree and sent her about fifty feet of the most tacky poo I could find! ha ha ha ha
man………my house smells good………….gonna make meat pie (which you could probably make with turkey) for dhs arrival tomorrow.

today is deluxe day.. for the fossil item..
