The Butterscotch Bunny PSI is the Spring Celebration Table with the Shortbread Bunny PSF. The Cockapoo PSI is the Dug Up Garden Storage with the Messy Mud Pie PSF.

Of these pets above, I love the blue bay dolphin. I got one last year when the pet came out. I also like the new bunny. I like the Cockapoo’s PSI. A dug up garden is a pretty original idea. LOL
Zingy – I’ve tried talking to the office manager at my doctor’s office, and she is worse than her staff. I’ve gone around and around with her, and I almost decided to find a new doctor just because she and the registration staff are awful.
Trying to establish a direct line of communication with my doctor, perhaps through email, is a great idea though. I love my doctor. I’ve known him for many years. I used to work with him at the hospital. He’s one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever met. He’s the only reason I continue going to this practice. Next time I’m there, I’ll ask him about that. Thanks for the great suggestion!

Happy Friday, everyone! First time I think our school was ever closed due to “high winds.” I was shocked when I woke up and saw the text this morning. But … always thankful for a day at home. 🙂
Ruby, I feel your health care pain. We’ve never really had a regular doctor, because we always just go to the urgent care place down the street. My kids really like the doctor and nurse practitioner there. He treats my dh for high blood pressure, calls prescriptions in when you are out, and we can just walk in without an appointment. Very nicely run, and somehow much cheaper than a regular doctor. The only downside is that you have to be a little more proactive with your own care; for instance, my kids missed their shots at 12 years old because the doctor’s office didn’t tell me they needed them. So, I have to figure out what they need, and go ask for them. But that’s just a minor inconvenience for me. Sounds like you need to go doctor shopping! (In a good way!) Also, a lot of doctors are trying this new online idea which I think is great. Imagine if you had the flu and could just log on to talk to your doctor. No one feels like going anywhere when they are that sick. I hope it takes off ….
I love the new pets! And I love that mud pie! If any of you buy that pet, please send me food! I used to have a great food collection (back when WI made you trade food for months until you racked up enough points to let you trade anything more valuable). I still have it all stuffed in coolers in the back yard. 🙂
That little blue dolphin is hard to see on PAN! He blends right into the blue background. My eyes are getting old … Missed getting a raspberry twist painting last month. Wonder why they only gave us half a month to try and get those February gifts?
Well, I do actually have to get some work done, despite being officially off. It will be nice to have a day to catch up. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Don’t even get me started on health care! The government has destroyed health care in this nation. I wish we could just go back to paying a doctor directly as services are rendered…no insurance, no government-mandated tax forms, no piles of onerous paperwork, cut all the middlemen out! The cost would drop like a rock, lol.

Does anyone else keep really detailed spreadsheets or files that contain information relating to their Webkinz like their favorite foods, toys, and best friends? I have my spreadsheets in Google Drive, but I have never printed them out. I also only keep track of this information for my primary account. I know some people on other sites keep Webkinz binders.

ngredients
2 large ears corn
1/4 red onion, diced
2 ripe tomatoes, seeds slightly removed and diced
1 serrano or jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
juice of one lime
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
To grill corn (preferably over charcoal for best flavor), leave the husk on and grill it first until charred. Then remove the husk and strings and put it back on the grill for a little color – 2-3 minutes – rolling to heat all sides.
Once grilled, slice corn off of the cob and add to bowl with remaining ingredients and stir.
Taste and adjust seasonings as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lime juice for added flavor.
Serve immediately. Will keep covered in the fridge for several days, but is best when fresh.

that is the recipe dh uses
i did four ears of corn………gotta grill it till bits are black! gives it a fab fab fab flavor
i added a can of rinsed and drained black beans…..so a total vegan meal!
but mighty fine for non vegans
oh and we grilled precleaned corn….still had some of the wispy bits (that burn off)

howdy y’all! been missing everyone quite a bit. sorry I’ve been Mia for so long… real life can be daunting sometimes. thank you all for praying for taggylou. she went to be with the Lord Feburary 11. only one day after her birthday. I wouldn’t normally post stuff like this here, but many of you knew her & I know she touched many hearts along the way. she will be dearly missed in more ways than I can describe. we became very close over the years & even got to met in RL. she too was from Florida. she was amazing! 😥

but good news is that we found a really yummy donut shop

Happy Sunday! Thank you, Loopy, for the raspberry painting! I am always sad when one gets away, so it’s nice to know you all have my back!
We were “powerless” for 18 hours over the weekend due to the high winds, and power was finally restored yesterday around noon. The house was **cold**! We’re keeping one of the boys’ friends here this weekend until their power is back on. At least we had a gas fireplace, so it kept the house from getting too unbearable. But teenage boys without their electronics … you’d think the world was coming to an end. 🙂 Actually, they weren’t that bad. We ended up sitting around telling stories, charging phones in the car, and doing some reading by candlelight. Not easy on these eyes, but it is fun once in a while to shut everything off and have family time.
New flooring is almost finished … I can’t wait to get the house put back together. Such a wreck!
