I don’t like that you have to have 3rd party ads on. Doesn’t seem right that kids whose parents turn off ads don’t get a chance to win.

Good morning all!
I do love the flowers, but pretty sad about the recycled prizes lately. Although, then I don’t have to work at those prizes! LOL! It’s plenty with the flower event, bake event and PAN.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Human and furry moms, daughters, aunts, grandmas, Godmother’s, sisters and friends. Sometimes it can be a tough day for those of us who’s moms have passed on. But I talk to her anyway and am thankful for all the beautiful women in my life. We talked to dh’s 95 year old Nana on Saturday and my aunt on Sunday. Both sounded really good and was wonderful to get to talk to them for a while.
We officially have a few months to move. Yay! So we are holding off on putting the house on the market. We have a trip up to WI planned soon, just to get the lay of the land, possibly see what area we like, see a few homes, etc. That took a ton of pressure off. Thanks for the well wishes gaga! Enjoy your day off today!
Catmom—You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are recovering well. Hope you were able to get the orange seeds.

Oh KinzGramAtHeart thanks for the info. I feel silly now. I couldn’t find it on my Asian timezone account earlier so I just assumed Ganz meant you needed 3rd party ads on. It works now. Maybe it was just a glitch that the bird didn’t show up earlier.

Happy Tuesday! Sooo happy about getting orange tree seeds! After ruining my day, it made my day … so thankful for you all at gymbos!
DD is home from college, and summer life is going to be crazy this year. She has an internship and a freelance job and no car, so I’m either shuffling her around, or we’re buying a car fast. And the boys are trying to get jobs down the street so they can ride their bikes there if I can’t take them. Thank goodness my job hours are flexible in the summer! They just want the work done, but don’t care necessarily when I do it, so that will help. I think I’ll slap an Uber label on my car while I shuffle my kids around these next few weeks.
Almost done with the remodeling … I asked the contractor to hold off a few days while my dd decompresses from college. They come back so exhausted, all she wants to do is sleep at first. I think the remodeling can be finished in about 2 days, if I could get him to stay all day. But he has other jobs, so sometimes he will come for an hour or so. Trying to be patient … but I want my garage back!!! and my house! Although on the positive side, it all looks amazing, and I need to get started redecorating since I rearranged some things. I think I’m going for the Industrial Farmhouse look … we’ll see if I can find a few pieces to fit.
Trying to finish up the school year for the journalism class. Yearbooks are in, and the ceremony is next week. We do a big end-of-year presentation with a bunch of pictures that weren’t able to fit in the yearbook, dedication speech, music, cheering … like a pep rally. It is my big event of the year, and I always get a little nervous. Then final newspaper, senior wills, graduation programs, etc. It gets busy in these last few weeks! But then … summer! 🙂
I’ve been watching the Stanley Cup playoffs … hockey is such an intense sport. Cheering for the caps. Hard to beat Canadians at that sport, though!

we are watching hockey even tho boston and the preds got kicked out…..dh was watching it last nite so loud that i had to come out of back bedroom where i was reading and cover him with a blanket……..get it??

Good Tuesday Morning
My house is quiet and I can sneak on the computer again. I am healing and the swelling is finally starting to go down. Still can not see out of the eye, but I am hoping the surgery worked. One of the hardest things has been trying to lay still on one side so the air bubble can hold the stitches in place. My dh can only be patient for a day or too and then he expects everyone to keep up with him or he gets cranky.
Thank you for your well wishes. It seems to be a very challenging year for everyone. Some challenges bring joy and some bring sorrow. I am hoping as the year progresses we will all find our balanced.

Miracle I missed the seeds but I am sure they will come around again. I am a little bit envious of your remodel almost being done. We are going on 12 yrs with ours. There is always something else that “NEEDS” to be done first.
