Is anyone having inconsistent log in stuff? I used to always get it on the first place that I logged in. Now, I log in and there are no notifications or log in gifts, but then if I go to mobile, I get it. This is frustrating to me. I don’t have time to do the desktop app plus the mobile app every day for each account. I’d prefer it to come with first log in where ever I am logging in. Does that make any sense?

QoS – i know how to fix the log in thing – when you log out, Quit the app so it closes completely, then reopen for the next log in – i noticed the same & figured out that “resets” the log in for the next account

It was such a nice surprise to hear from my nephew last night… It was like someone put a nickel in him…. He talked non stop….I didn’t get a word in..nor was I able to ask any questions !! So funny….He did have a ticket for the game today but I hear he opted out and sold it …( he is saving for a different meal plan next semester)
There must be something in the air because my brother was here today and he never stopped talking either !! My ears were practically bleeding when he left LOL !! We got my to do list finished just as it was starting to rain……and it hasn’t stopped all day..

I open a new tab with google search and have your cursor on the top address bar…then press two fingers on the middle of your touch pad at the same time…a box should open and emoji appears at the top…then click it and you’ll have emojis at the bottom of your screen….hopefully! Houston Astros vs. Washington Nationals
Looks like it is going to be 2 wins for each after tonight, unless a miracle happens! We are routing for the Nationals. (Although our family are Chicago Cubs fans, technically, but they were eliminated this year). I’m not really into sports, but I can be a good sport! 😉 LOL!
I like sweet potato fries, but I’m trying to avoid fried food. Although I occasionally give in to fried chicken.

LL – I know! I still don’t feel grown up though.
After some poking around on google I found a job listing from that district for a long term sub. It offers $10 more per day than I make, so that’s probably what they’re gonna offer me. Still don’t know what I’m gonna do. I’m only available 3 days a week this semester and 2 days a week next semester, so I don’t know if they’ll want to work with that.
Not a big fan of sweet potato fries. They’re ok, but I’d rather have regular fries.

This air fryer thing is going well. I made (vegan) chicken nuggets today and curly fries yesterday. It cooks things faster than the oven and it only takes 3 minutes to heat up. I didn’t like how the tofu turned out in it though, it was a little too dry. I think when I make that kind of tofu I’ll stick to the oven, but I want to try out some other recipes in the air fryer.

we can find tempeh local, but dd says i have to go to a certain store in nville to find seitan
i have never eaten tofu, seen dd prep it……….just can not commit. altho her stuff smells lovely and all…………..

I was looking at the air fryers in the store a couple of months ago. Been thinking about it but not really room on the counter. I’d need to use butter or no fat at all. Don’t know if that would work.

Back from my vacation! Wish it didn’t have to end because now I’m home and have sooo many things to do!! My anxiety is through the roof right now!
I didn’t have a lot of Internet time while I was away, so I just read up on all of the comments and didn’t comment… april put it perfectly when she said “Just trying to keep up lately is all I can manage. I just passed my first class of the term in a little under a month. I am hoping to do the same or better with the next class as well. I am also almost done with the complete reorganization of my room, I finished the ghost candy collection in ww, I won the grand grotto trophy, and sims 4 is finally releasing the discover university expansion pack in a little over two weeks. All in all it has been a pretty good week for me.

Hello all!
Halloween is only two days away! Honestly, I’m more of a Thanksgiving and Christmas person, but I do like that Halloween gives me the excuse to buy (and then eat) a bunch of candy haha!
Sadly haven’t had as much time for commenting as I’d like to as life has been pretty hectic! So much stress! But I did manage to find time to log in for a bit yesterday and then proceeded to spend the rest of the time trying out Grand Grotto since it was the game of the day! I wasn’t sure how much I would like it at first, but I actually enjoyed the format of the game. Reminds me of candy crush where it saves your progress at whatever “level” you left off at on which is nice!
I’m not sure how many of you watch the Terminator movies, but the newest one called Terminator: Dark Fate is coming out in only about a month!! I think its funny that I always get hooked on TV shows and movies way past when they were in their most “popular” stage — bought the first one a couple weeks ago and have caught up on all of them except Terminator 4 which I heard was not quite as good. Also, for all the Disney fans out there, I’m so pumped for Frozen 2! 🙂

I’m still feeling a little shaky, but up and moving..no choice. My ex is our roomate. .yes I know, some think its,weird, but it works and we are and always will be family. My dh thinks the world 9f my ex too. Through the last year of my dh illness, he was a rock for us, and the reason we still have a house over our heads, truth be told. But now my ex is sick! Had to put him in the hospital yesterday…he was hiding how bad he was feeling, and almost died! !! He has fluid build up around heart and lungs, and having issues breathing, and was hiding it cause he didn’t want to stress me cause I was so sick!!! Omg..I can’t believe I just got my dh back to work and now this. ..
Anyway, he’s in CCU and this time may have heart damage, still waiting for more tests to be done. But at least he’s stable now and they are getting the fluid off, so his breathing is getting better. But he hasn’t been able to keep up cleaning his room, etc, so I told him while he is in I’ll get it all cleaned up…omg, I had no idea how bad it was dust wise!!!! I have to wear a mask while cleaning. Plus he just kept piling up his clean clothing on top of dressers and boxes in corner of room..looked like a hoards room at first. .lol but I found the floor! ! And its Vaccuumed up nice and ready for steam cleaning. And I’m gonna go through all the clothing and get rid of old stuff and put rest away in his dressers..I didn’t know he needed help, and he wasn’t asking!
I sat and talked with him and said…please tell me when you need help from now on, I’d rather do things weekly instead of a huge clean up like this. I know he has a hard time bending over because he’s a big guy. And I already do all the laundry.. anyway he says he will tell me when he needs help from now on.finally, but it took him getting this sick for him to realize he needs help.
So anyway…as usual, I’m the one picking up the pieces. Lol
But I’m gonna make sure his room is nice. And he can’t stop thanking me in texts or apologizing for letting it get that bad.
I’m a tiny bit ticked about it, but I’ll get over it, and he really helped me out over the last 2 years a lot, so it’s payback time. I’m helping him with all his medical stuff too, trying to get it set up for weight loss,surgery for him. .he is about 450lbs. And though he’s following the diet….he needs help. If he doesn’t do it, he won’t live long. Cause now his weight might be affecting his heart. ..
Anyway, sorry to be long winded. .I needed to vent a little just a lot on my plate again…sigh. it is,what it is.and yes I’m taking care of me too. Finally on a blood pressure med that’s working!!! Yeah!! We will get through this together! And thank you for reading this..sorry to let it all out. You all are wonderful here!

Grandma001, I’m in a similar situation as you right now. I want to go Vegan because I’m pretty sure I am dairy intolerant and of course because I love animals. I’m having a hard time finding recipes, though, that are both Vegan and “suitable” for a picky person like me. It’s hard!!! So, any recipes shared here are always appreciated!

66Muffin, I haven’t seen any of the Terminator movies (at least that I remember), but I AM excited for Frozen 2!! I caved and bought a sparkly Olaf plush at the store the other day, so I’m ready!

LL, Yes, all my classes are online. 🙂 And the better part is that they are catered toward the degree I am working toward, no matter what the class is.

I should amend my statement to include that my final 7 courses will not be all online as they will be demonstration teaching which must be done at a school in person.

i got so busy – doing laundry, cooking the dog’s food & packaging it up in servings, picking up & dropping off ds, washing dishes (one of these twerps stockpiled reusable water bottles in his room then snuck them all to the sink), grocery store, etc. etc. i am SO glad to finally sit down now!!!!

Bepsy- I always find taking filler classes is so uselessly and a waste of time and money, so I’m glad they are all catered towards your degree. Although I am not taking education, teaching classes sound like great valuable experience towards your degree too!

I use the morning star farms chik’n nuggets. So no recipe here, just frozen nuggets. They’re really good though!
I hate filler classes too! It’s so pointless and expensive. I did this transfer agreement thing at community college so once I transferred to my university, they couldn’t make me take any gen ed classes. With how much I pay for school, I don’t wanna be taking any useless stuff!
