Christmas Eve tree in Deluxe today !
dee… Happy your dd is home for the Holiday ! Was going to order a pizza yesterday … but did not want to fight the traffic in the plaza … made spaghetti instead… Stocked my freezer for easy meals later.
I have still not won the little brown dog… but have a couple days to try…we’ll see.
moms.. Hopefully your guests have arrived and you can enjoy the time with them
I will probably head over to my older sister’s a bit early and catch the game… unless I decide I need a nap in order to enjoy evening with family without dragging too much ! LOL. Thankfully don’t have to go back to stupid grocery store as I picked up two items yesterday which I had forgotten to get with main shopping… Store was packed ! Drove to pick up bakery which has been a tradition for many years… sticky buns ! So good… Date nut cake for the hostess

Stopped over to visit Castro and his mom… Wished them a Merry Christmas and brought him some treats… He looks great… so happy he seems none the worse for wear with his diagnosis…. and his mom to with her issues..
Planning on catching at least part of the Browns game today… Keeping my fingers crossed that they can pull it off.. Heard CJ still on protocol .. feel badly for him but might be better for our team.

Gaga- I am pretty sure I have extras of all of the prizes, I think Dee said she had an extra dog too, but either way got you covered.
Moms- How you doing? Hopefully being surrounded by your family helps, but know it’s still a difficult time.
dd is here and feeling better, her ear is still plugged, but a little better which is a good sign. She is soooooo happy to be home. We are getting ready to bake. π
Decorated our tree last night, so feeling a little more festive now.

moms… Happy you were able to share a few laughs yesterday as well as a few tears. A trifecta ! Doesn’t happen very often… Glad our favorite teams pulled off a victory ! I guess we are in desperate need of a kicker before Thursday…

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. I actually managed to get all the Ms Birdy gifts this year. π Hope everyone is having a good day. OD finally got an Engineering position at the company she has been working for as a technician, starts Jan 2nd. YD got the summer internship she has been working towards with extracurriculars since high school. She also got to travel to California for a women in engineering conference with her university group. We found two feral kittens in the back yard in October, Salem and Piper. They are our black and grey Halloween surprise. DH has been at his job for 30 years this month. I am doing fine, mostly playing Fallout 76 lately. I helped a friend with programming and music for his graphic novel game earlier this year.

hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I had a quick question. Besides (I think) the candy cane, polar bear cookie & the cookie wreath. is that all the food? It’s too expensive to buy everything. So I wanted to make sure I’m just getting items for $2 a pop. I thought that wreath was an item. π sad day when I realized it wouldn’t go on a wall. lol anyway, logging on to some accounts before I fall asleep.

a sloth, so i need to think of names as it goes on both accounts
she is back in her home already.
we played apples to apples and scattergories
pretty fun
and i got car seat covers

I’m back!
I managed to get everything so I’m good! (Webkinz wise!) π π
Dh spent New Year’s eve in the hospital with my dad who had bad abdominal & back pain. After scans (that were all okay), some powerful pain killers, and an overnight my dad came home feeling well again (some tiredness, but overall much better).
We thought some of our kiddos were coming tomorrow, but just found out it is Thursday, which works for us because we came home much later today than intended and we have a lot of prep to do. Our Christmas with the kids is on Friday.
