    Oh….just followed the link and read the stuff above about trading! I just read Sally’s comment about “please report individuals”. 🙁 That’s sounds terrible! Instead of being a supportive community it will encourage spying and tattling. It makes me wonder if a lot of people have been taken advantage of.

    The trading conversation by Steve is confusing to me! We are allowed to trade on WKN but NOT through any other forum? Am I missing something here? How will that be monitored? I don’t understand it. Does that mean that we can’t exchange items here or help with wish lists? Isn’t Steve contradicting new policy by saying that we can only go through clubhouse, but then it is okay to trade in forums on WKN? Confused!

    In light of all this, Gaga, the donut dress is a gift! ♥ I certainly don’t want to lose my account.

    In the future…. I guess we could arrange a trade here and then set a time to go to the clubhouse room to trade? Would that work? Sounds complicated!

    moms, I just left a comment on Webkinz Newz regarding trading/gifting. I understand the whole part about trading needing to go through the Trading Room in the Clubhouse and KinzPost being strictly for gifting, but what I don’t understand is the whole thing with buying and selling virtual items. Not that it really concerns me (and hopefully I haven’t just accidentally put myself on the Webkinz Team’s radar), but the statements regarding that aspect seem to be contradictory…

    Grandma001, I don’t want to get either of us in trouble. Please keep your Peppermint Chair and any rugs for now. I don’t feel safe doing anything besides sending notes through KP right now… :\ I don’t see how the Webkinz team can actually PROVE whether items sent through KP are gifts or trades, which is a big thing that worries me. I wouldn’t want you to just give me the things without something in return and I don’t want gifts exchanged from two friends to be construed as being a “trade.” I almost always try to send something back to a friend when they send me/surprise me with a gift and I think that’s what really stinks about this whole thing… Now there’s the dilemma of “Do I send my friend a gift back and risk the Webkinz Team thinking it’s a trade or not?”

    Things are going well at the school, although there is so much to do and coordinate with 3 kids’ schedules. I got a couple of blank stares yesterday near the end … I think they were slightly brain dead, but hanging in there. It is such a strange mixture of sad and happy. College can be the most fun you’ve ever had … but also the most stressful. I’m thinking they might actually handle things better once we are out of the way. Haha, adulting is hard. 🙂

    gaga—We had such a fun time with my family last weekend. I loved every minute of it. We love to play games…exploding kittens (it's a card game), unstable unicorns, etc. We yell, trash talk and laugh until our faces hurt. The lady that sold us the house left an old small pool table in the basement. We had an epic billiard tournament. We only spoke in British accents while we played. Teenage girls are a hoot. Learned a bunch of new teen lingo. Stella had a blast. She passed out the minute they left. I was tired too, but I miss them. Then had a busy week. I hope you get to talk to your nephew soon. I hope your day goes quickly so you can enjoy your weekend!

    Ok, now update for those of you wsiting..
    First, we confronted dr. About how test was gotten. She BLUSHED! Said yes she knew about that, but that she wasn’t the one to do it! Apparently the nurse/ assistant that handles the insurance pre approvals said she did it to get the scan done fast. She also said there were TWO diagnoses, the right one and the cancer one to push it through faster..apparently they all do this to get ins. Companies to pre approve! Wow, ok then. Dr. Appoligized for us not being notified, but she wasn’t told till it was a done deal.

    The scan took a long time, longer then normal. I was really getting worried..he came out looking beat up. Apparently the way they had him lay hurt his back bad, my poor hubby… we saw the dr. Very next day, on thursday. She said, first let me tell you there is NO CANCER ANYWHERE. Which has been in my mind because he has pancreatic cancer on BOTH sides of family and his mom and older brother passed from it! So HUGE RELIEF to hear that.

    Then said one very tiny spot in the ankle he had operated on lit up bright. Right where the special ct scan said there was a limpoma growing. Just soft tissue growth. Right where there is only one s- crew! But she couldn’t confirm if it’s an infection or just swelling!! But it’s a slight possibility it is.. so, off to do BW to check white cell count and inflamation sed. rate. Should know monday. And she is conferring with the leg surgeon to see if she’ll do a needle biopsy if that area to see if it is source of that pesky infection or not!

    Also to see if ankle is healed enough to possibly remove that one s-crew so that the soft tissue can stop being irritated. So that’s next. And has to be done stat! Because after his heart operation he can not go under again for a YEAR unless it’s an absolute emergency!!

    So we got some really good news. Light at end of tunnel can be seen! Finally. I can’t tell you the weight that came off my shoulders. Dh just kinda said..” I wasn’t worried” lol yeah ok, in a pigs eye you weren’t! Lmbo. Men.!!

    Otterkinz – I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that I’ve spent over an hour searching for Christmas rugs. I looked in Wiki and found a Snowflake Rug (winterfest 2009, I believe) that takes up a 4X4 space and a Home for the Holidays Rug 2014 (3X3). The last one is pictured with the WShop theme but I thought it was from Ms. Birdy.
    The good news is that although that’s only two choices, I have both. I thought there were more than that but can’t find any different ones. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if one of those would fit into your room design.

    Chants.. so happy that PET scan showed no cancer….I am sure that is a great relief to both of you… now wondering about the hardware may be causing the irritation… hope they figure out best plan of action…
    April… Glad you had a great time with your family ! Yesterday… pt threatened to shoot us all with a gun.. if he had one…Immediately security and local police arrived… along with paramedics… took him directly to ER for psych eval… unsure yet on his outcome… You cannot in today’s world threaten such a thing and think there are no consequences… Shook everyone up for the rest of the day…
    Did end up hearing a few words from my nephew… Planning on coming home next weekend for Labor Day and he says we can chat then… Living arrangements not conducive for “talking on the phone” !!
    Early morning .. already to my Moms.fix breakfast.. get her settled for the morning..Off to Mass.. dentist.. and then Saturday errands.. Hope all is well with the rest of you guys and hope to check back later !

Glad it was just a threat and nobody was hurt. Will they have security tightened in case this person decides to come back? Do you still have to treat this person? Your nephews doorm is most def. not conducive for talking on the phone! I never lived in one, but my bf did and you have no privacy. So glad you will get to see him next weekend.

    Gaga, holy poop! That is so scary!!! Years ago I had a two family. Owned with my sis,and b in law. The tenant they got in..well he was just pure evil. He beat his wife and children! Back then unless you SAW it you really couldn’t prove it. Specially if said woman wouldn’t press charges! But I got tired of hearing it, started working on her while he was at work, promised to help her get away. Found help for her. Tried to boost her confidence. Well it worked. But he went crazy. Told me he’d kill me if he found out I’d helped her..! He had a stockpile of guns and I knew it..I was able to call police because of direct threat.

    Chant! Oh my goodness! That tenant sounds awful! My dh is a landlord of a few apartments and he has dealt with a lot, but never that! Whew! Sometimes I have been scared for him when he is dealing with volatile situations. Most of the time he has good tenants, though.

    Ok, got called away..I’ll finish story. They got a warrent, we unlocked the door. He had so many weapons it shocked us and police. Long story short, he found his wife in a car with her fathet. He ran them off road, beat his FIL within an inch of life. Beat her too..cops came he drove away fast, cops chased, cornered him, he took himself out with his weapon. Her father lived, she lived. She moved away with her kids. In the end we lucked out, cause while he was hurting her she confessed I’d helped her..I was next.
    That was a wake up call. We sold that house. No more tenants ever. And I never back down from anyone. I refuse to be afraid.

    Hello everyone! I don’t have really any good reason for being MIA for this long, but things I have been doing have included cleaning parts of my house, actually getting my drivers license, setting up my transfer to a new college, going to my county’s fair, and I am just about done with my webkinz house inventory project. The only hangup has been a few objects that I didn’t see that another list of mine confirms I have. I have to go through some rooms and check again when that happens.

    I have only read through this post, so if there has been any other news I am not caught up. I am a little bit disappointed in the new trading policies because there are plenty of people like me who don’t want to rely on timing to trade with people and didn’t mind sort of gambling on the webkinz trading forum as to whether the trade would go through or not. I would understand if the webkinz team issued a more formal warning, but issuing a policy like that seems over the top. I especially see no reason to report anyone no matter what because the way I see it, it is their own business how they control their account as long as they don’t bring their problems to the company.

    Oh yeah, and we finally feel well enough to go out with an old friend of mine and her hubby..we stopped by her home on way back from getting the good news, as she had called the day before while I was waiting for his scan to be done. Soni surprised her. She was so happy to see us. And since next week we actually for the first time in over a year HAVE NO DR. APPTS!!!
    She asked us if we go out to dinner to celebrate. So next friday we have a couples date! The drinks and swimming at their home sfter..I’m excited! And she said this year she won’t take no for an answer for xmas eve, eve! DH actually said yes to that too! Wow

    Now I know it’s things normal peeps do..lol but we actually made PLANS that aren’t revolving around drs., hospital, surgeries..you get the picture. And it feels marvelous! ! I’m going to dye my hair, got some silver from all the stress..dye dh hair and beard..his is silver and white. He’s younger then me, and looks older poor guy..but he looks younger when I do his hair. He loves the attention. I’m gonna space my face, and airbrush on some makeup. .and put on a dress!!! I’m even going to IRON DHS shirt and pants.. I already packed our pool clothing and shoes!

    Now, I have a question. What can I get our friends as a hostess girft!!!????? Nothing too expensive, she’d get mad, just something meaningful, not flowers..something maybe she could display that when they look at it they remember how much we appreciate that after all we’ve been through, they are still there. Some of our friends just kinda stopped calling cause we couldn’t go out all the time. Only a few remain, we understood, but at least we now know who cares the deepest and really want to be in our lives. And those are the ones we are going to be there for in return. No matter what.

    “First Sunday ” without you know who !! Head to Olive Garden with my two sister and my Mom for lunch today…Girls day out I guess..
    moms.. don’t have a fire pit or charcoal grill … so we do s’mores on the grill !

    I never really feel unsafe at work.. Access to the actual treatment area requires either a key or badge swipe in…We all have a panic button which can be used in case we need security… and despite being a distance from their office.. they come fairly quickly when needed….My guess is that this pt. will be discharged from the practice!
    dee… hope your time with your dd is a memorable visit… Did I gather that she will be studying out of the country ?? What a great experience ! One of my nieces took a class in Ireland her junior year and she loved it !!
    Chants… for hostess gift.. if she spends time in her yard..some flowers she could plant and would bloom each year..and remind her of you and your visit
