Good Morning All !
moms… no re does…In many ways it was good that I was off.. so much happening…would have been impossible to get my mom taken care of and arrangements for everything if I were working… So I guess it worked out…Still worrisome.. night time caregiver left with no replacement…May have to head over there….seems like so many glitches to get worked out…

Ugh I haven’t even started with PAN this month. I still haven’t even gotten all the snowflake prizes yet after 4 days!
I decided to make a pet for the WKN contest. It’s a bit… er.. inspired.. but that hasn’t stopped Ganz in the past (thinking about the Hippogriff). It looks a bit too naked without the potato sack, but naturally Webkinz are all naked.

I totally forgot about PAN until about 2 hours ago! Glad to see the post up here about it! Not doing too well with snowflakes, either! Still trying to transition from vacation mode to responsibility mode in RL! LOL! One more Christmas event on Monday. My dh’s family celebrates Three King’s Day. Puerto Rican custom. SO…….I teach all day and then travel an hour for another celebration! Tomorrow (well, today) will be busy, too. After church we are visiting close friends for lunch & a game of Master Detective Clue, which is typically our custom on New Year’s Day. It is getting harder and harder to do that as our families expand.
Good for you, moms, about getting your Christmas stuff put away. I will probably leave my tree up another week or two since I decorated it so late (Christmas Day).
Dee & LL – Snow? Wow! I don’t think we will see any snow where I live! It is too warm. It was in the mid-50’s today.

Hey, guys. Hope everyone had a good New Year.
Just wanted to come on here and rant for a second. On the first, for Deluxe Wednesday, the Estore was having a sale on the Birthstone Pets and yes, I bought all of them. Yes, it cost 60,000 points. No, I did not know that for everyone 20,000+ points you spend you get 6 Winterfest cookies for free. I could’ve had 18 free cookies, except I didn’t know about the cookies until the next day. Ugh. How frustrating. And now every time I see the ad for the cookies, I get a little mad.
I wish there was a better way the Estore would advertise their stuff.

I can’t believe it’s January 6th already… My New Year started off fine, but once it clicked over to the 2nd things got stressful REAL fast. I’ve been trying to fix things and work down my to do list for the last couple of days, but I feel like I’ve hardly made a dent.

Cassie, I’m glad I’m not the only one who “had” to have all 12 of the birthstone puppies! I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend 60,000 eStore Points on them since there is actually only 3 different variations in the style of the puppies (meaning several of the puppies have the same body and face, they are just a different color), but I hadn’t ever seen the birthstone puppies on sale until then. So, I couldn’t pass up the deal!!
gaga, good luck getting your phone set up at lunch today! I’m sure once it’s all said and done and you figure out what you’re doing, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!

Gaga, I added a picture of the window to the bottom of my wishlist for reference. It’s kind of an old item that I don’t think many people have, so no worries.
Otter- I’m really just trying to collect the items on my list, and all of the items are just random old things- mostly old PSI from some of the.. uglier.. pets that I don’t have. I’m going through my Winterfest inventory and I will update my wishlist with some winterfest items soon.
On the winterfest note: Is anyone trying to trade cookie items? I have extra of the snowmobile, tree, goggles (too many), helmet, and pond. I’m looking for the skis, outhouse, sleeping bag, waterfall, and arch.

So because 15 year old me was super responsible and always wore her retainer as instructed her bottom teeth definitely didn’t move at all and she doesn’t need braces again 10 years later…
sigh
The good news is my top teeth still look perfect so I get 50% off since I only need braces on 50% of my teeth. The bad news is orthodontics coverage cuts off at 19 so the insurance won’t cover anything.

Dee- it is the right one! There is also the Winter Waterfall from last year’s deluxe day, which looks really similar and has been causing some confusion.
I did some work in the trading room and now I am now looking only for the snowy arch.

I’m not that bothered by it actually. I’ve been paranoid about these two teeth for a while because one is pushing the other and the gums are starting to recede from the movement. I have dreams all the time about those teeth falling out and it’s become a source of anxiety for me. It’ll be a relief to get them taken care of. It’s not noticeable because it’s the bottom teeth so the cosmetic aspect has never bothered me, but both the dentist and orthodontist agreed that it’ll continue getting worse if nothing is done.
Boper – I probably should update it. I know I did something with it recently but I think that was mostly to take stuff off. I’ll have to take a look at some of the rooms I’ve been working on and see what I need.
